One Good Thing

While it is most certainly beautiful outside today, it's a bit chilly in the house. I'm here in my socked feet, my torn Abercrombie shorts, and a grey t-shirt. I've wrapped myself in a snuggly blanket, have my feet in front of a space heater, and am listening to music as I type. It's a nice moment. I don't like being still for too long, so I'll most likely get up in a few minutes. But this is nice. It's meditative. Cathartic.

One Good Thing

Everyone has most likely heard about the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. Heartbreaking. I didn't hear about it until I was up for a bit this morning. My first thought was that my sister, Amy, and her hubby are in Japan, not far from Tokyo. Thankfully, they are fine. Just frazzled nerves. Hearing that they are fine definitely counts as a good thing.

New Emmylou! That's right! She has a new CD coming out April 26 call "Hard Bargain." CANNOT WAIT!! The best news of the day. There hasn't really been any artists with recordings announced this year that I was looking forward to after Bright Eyes. But now this! Any time Emmylou comes out with a record it is an event for me.

Sigh. Oh, Emmylou....
