One Good Thing

I love it when someone else mentions a song I thought I was the only one it mattered to. It's like, for a brief moment, there's a soul connection. Like "Oh, you get that? I get that too!" I get very excitable about music. It's proof of bigger things than you and I, my friend. Part of the grand flow. I won't say "divine" because I am not a religious person, but, oh the power of a melody!

One Good Thing

My sister Amy is home from Japan. And she brought pizza! Well, not specifically from Japan, but she did get some on her way home from the airport. And on a day that's not my cheat day too! Not cool, Amy. I shall try to contain myself and not have a slice. I shall try and be happy with my whole grain pasta. Yum. Whole grain pasta. Three words that stir all kinds of excitement.

Still, Amy's home. That's a good thing.
