October 30, 2021: Celebrate Halloween With Deadly Doodles!

Get in the spooky spirit with this special map for Deadly Doodles !

The Halloween map features a jack-o'-lantern face and some brutal corridors. It integrates the diamond and skull coin mechanic found in Deadly Doodles 2 , but with a regular d6 it is playable with your original copy of Deadly Doodles as well. The designers have put a lot of tricks into the map –- tight halls, lots of dead ends, and many other challenges.

It's a treat to play, and you'll feel rewarded when you get the high score!

Now that the newest set of plastic Ogre miniatures is closer to the crowdfunding stage, we're taking steps to retire the existing metal miniatures. From now until December 1, 2021, metal Ogre miniatures are priced at 75% off. On December 2, the metal minis vanish from the store! If you want more metal Ogre miniatures, grab them before it's too late!

October 28, 2021: Now Shipping! Munchkin Cheats, Clowns, Kittens, Puppies, And Side Quests Reprints

August was a big month for Munchkin reprints, with several out-of-print titles landing as our partners at PSI received two containers loaded with games and expansions. As we've mentioned before, the expense and delays related to international freight have disrupted our usual processes, so seeing so many titles back in stock brings a tear to our eyes and makes our hearts grow like the Grinch's at Christmas.

The recent containers included a few core Munchkin games, but today we want to direct your attention to five different mini-expansions, a few of which have been unavailable for several months. Munchkin Cheats Munchkin Clowns Munchkin Kittens Munchkin Puppies Munchkin Side Quests These are shipping now and should start appearing in stores soon. October 27, 2021: Pre-Order One Roll Quest Today!

Offered as a part of our Random Fun Generator 2 pre-order campaign on BackerKit, One Roll Quest is Steve's new single die roll fantasy RPG that is intended to be played as you wait for the stragglers to arrive for game night. This extremely fast-playing dice game –-  One Roll Quest uses a large clear six-sided die with five tiny six-sided dice inside –- is great for the storytellers at the table. Select your characters, roll the die, and then roleplay the result! 

One Roll Quest is a direct-sales title scheduled for release at Warehouse 23 either late this year or early next year. (Freight headaches make it difficult to nail down the exact release date at this time. The game is complete, on a boat, and at the mercy of the shipping gods.)

October 25, 2021: Car Wars Sixth Edition Pre-Orders Closing Soon

So that we can manage inventory and not overwhelm the Warehouse 23 team, we're closing Car Wars Sixth Edition pre-orders on Monday, November 8, 2021. We'll reopen for orders in the future, but for now we have some other Car Wars Sixth Edition plans in the works and want to make sure that we're not burying the warehouse crew with too many fulfillment tasks all at once.

If you've not yet pre-ordered Car Wars Sixth Edition , or if you have already received the game and want to add a few more expansions and accessories to your collection, please visit Warehouse 23 to find all of the currently-available releases for the newest edition of the game of vroom and boom.

For those of you asking: "When will I be able to buy the game at my favorite local game store?" We do not yet have a distribution release date for the game. It is important to note that when we do offer the game to our distribution partners that not all of the titles will be included in that release. At the moment, only the blue/green and red/yellow two-player sets, as well as the four different miniatures sets, are planned for distribution release. All of the other expansions – including the Dropped Weapons, Linked Weapons , and Armory Pack  – are direct-sales items. Another month, another list of top sellers! Our evergreen games and expansions – those items that are consistent sellers every month – are a vital part of our operations, and we do our best to keep the top ten or so titles in-stock at all times. Of course, shortages happen from time to time (especially in today's world of uncertain freight schedules), so it is possible that a few of these will be out-of-stock at the warehouse before the end of the year. Fortunately, everything on this list is in a near-constant state of reprint (either planning, printing, or shipping), so any of these that vanish from our warehouse should reappear early in 2022. We hope. Nothing is a guarantee these days, especially shipping times.

October 23, 2021: Gross-Out Fun For Halloween

When I was a kid (which, if we're being honest, is mentally every single day of my life), gross-out humor was a joy that we inflicted on our parents, teachers, and the unsuspecting normal children on the playground. Jokes, toys, trading cards, and wild conversations inevitably led to attempts to disgust and gross each other out, and it is with great pleasure that I announce that even these days – decades later – kids still love gross-out humor.

Fortunately,m  for those of you with kids who cannot get enough gross-out fun in their lives, we have the Scarf-N-Barf game that embraces gross-out humor and makes it the star attraction. The game certainly isn't for the mature and sophisticated in the audience, but those of you who are still mentally twelve (like me!) will find some senseless entertainment in this fast-playing and completely unnecessary game.

You're at the carnival. Eat lots of sugary, salty, greasy goodies. Then ride the rides and try to keep everything down. Scarf-N-Barf is a silly, fast-paced card game that will keep you glued to your seat . . . unless, of course, you have to jump up to BARF. October 22, 2021: Katie Cook To Guest At FnordCon 4!

It's time for a FnordCon 4 update! We've confirmed our artist for FnordCon 4, and I think y'all are in for some fun. Katie Cook will be joining us on Saturday, November 6, to create some new art in real time. She'll also be signing some copies of our games that include her awesome art. Attendees of the show will be able to win these copies! Katie's titles for us would stretch on for quite a while, including Munchkin Tails , Deadly Doodles , and more.
