November 9, 2021: Say Hello To David Rock - Ogre Line Editor

 Hello from Command Post Omega; deep in the heart of NAC territory. My name is David, and I've signed on as the new Ogre Line Editor. Some of you may already know me as GranitePenguin on the forums, Twitter, or Discord; or as one of the MIBs running a Learn to Play Ogre session at a convention or virtually on the Steam version of Ogre. I'm here to continue the fine tradition of bringing you new Ogre content and keeping the line rolling. Some of my hobbies are ham radio (mostly digital modes), astronomy and astrophotography, retro computing, microcontrollers, practical special effects, running a BBS, and of course, boardgaming (especially Ogre ; go figure). I still have my original copy of G.E.V. that started it all for me in 1978, and have never stopped playing Ogre in pretty much every form in existence. I'm always ready to talk Ogre with anyone willing to listen (and sometimes with those unwilling; my wife can attest to that), so if you catch me online or at a con, don't hesitate to say hello. --- End Transmission ---

November 8, 2021: Crowdfunding Focus: Never Mind The Goblins, Here's The Living Dead

I supported this quirky STL figure project. Buy-in is extremely low and the quality of the renders looks very good. Mostly vampires or vampire-adjacent. Nice stuff.

There is a vast, vast silliness - but not cartoony - evident somewhere in the background of all the beautiful detail. I approve.

Plus, in the add-ons, a Landsknecht. Nobody makes Landsknechten!

Warehouse 23 News: Man-To-Man Combat From The World Of Ogre

Battlesuit is a sequel to the best-selling Ogre . But where Ogre tells the story of the supertanks of the far future, Battlesuit is man-to-man combat. November 5, 2021: Girl Genius Interviews Galore

The Girl Genius Sourcebook Kickstarter project has been a great success for us, thanks to all the incredible backers! As it draws to a close, we're fortunate to be able to share some interviews with Steve and with the Foglios, who impart their own unique perspectives on Girl Genius. Phil and Kaja Foglio were kind enough to join us on #SJGamesLive to talk about the origins of the comic, their favorite SJ Games titles, fun convention stories, and everything in between! It was a fun time, and even has some fan Q&A thrown in.

And Steve was interviewed by Really Dicey to get his thoughts on the project.

November 1, 2021: GURPS Girl Genius Kickstarter Campaign Ends In One Week!

To say that we've been stunned by the overwhelming support of the new Girl Genius Sourcebook and Roleplaying Game on Kickstarter would be an understatment. Over a decade in the works, this newest GURPS hardcover book is in the final week of the Kickstarter campaign and, better still, we've already sent the files to the printer! (We did that just as soon as the project unlocked the stretch goal and added the new comic pages to the hardcover RPG book.)

The hardcover is scheduled to ship to project supporters in 2022, and there's still time to join in and be a part of this wildly successful crowdfunding campaign!
