PITCH A TENT, NOT A FIT
My plans are for your good and not to harm you. I am not a tyrant. While I teach you to trust me in your Wilderness, yield to My ways. Be comforted and grow strong. Your upgrade is My expected end.
PITCH A TENT, NOT A FIT
Sadly, many Christians die in the Wilderness and never learn a thing. They are so angry at God because they’re in the Wilderness, they never learn the value of His presence and provision. Is that you?
The immature part of you throws a wall-eyed fit every time you get into a place that’s uncomfortable, so you rage against God. We forget God can be with us in painful places, so we decide He can’t be with us at all. Turning away from His presence kills your testimony, your faith and eventually, your relationship.
It doesn’t have to be that way! You don’t have to bail. If you’ve never let Him be your provider, stop that tantrum and let Him meet your needs. Need a comforter because you’re run everyone else off? His Word says He’s really good at that.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. – 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
The day is coming when you will stand before God. You will never suffer, experience pain, or spend all night rocking back and forth in desperation again. Trouble is, you’ll never, ever, have the opportunity to serve God in your Wilderness again.
On that day, you will say, “I wish I could be in something terrible again so I could stick with God one more time. I bailed the last time and I regret that.” Know this: that doesn’t have to be you.
You are an overcomer. You are faithful and true. You do not bail on Jesus because He didn’t bail on you – and He could have! You will stick out your Wilderness experience, whatever that entails, and learn to depend on God for your needs. Don’t pitch a fit. Pitch your tent in His presence and be comforted.

WATERING THORNS
When trouble comes, look to Me. I Am your source, your shield and your Savior. Your identity comes from Me. Trouble doesn’t define you. I do.
WATERING THORNS
It is the plan of the enemy to cause anything negative or demonic in your life. He wants that event to shape the rest of your life.
I see so many people who burn down their harvest field because something happened and they decide it’s a game-changer and they’re never going back to it.
They have years and years invested in this field, and the relationship goes bad, the job is lost, the kids rebel or the test comes back positive, and they draw a line in the sand and burn the field.
When you’re watering and feeding thorns instead of watering and feeding the Word of God within your life, you partner with the enemy. Instead, you should be partnering with the Holy Spirit because your identity doesn’t have to come from those terrible things. Your identity comes from the Lord.
He’s the One who gets to say who you are. That’s right, Jesus has a right to tell you who you are because He’s the one Who paid a terrible price for you.
The bottom line is this: you have to learn how to magnify the Lord instead of a crisis. Why? Because that crisis is always going to come, sure as sparks fly upward. You can’t twist off. You have to be committed to the harvest.
But man is born unto trouble, As the sparks fly upward “But if I were you, I would appeal to God; I would lay my cause before him. He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted.” – Job 5:7-9

APOCALYPSE, RIGHT NOW!
Being in My presence should be your joy, not your chore. If you’re forcing yourself to spend time with Me, stop. Be still and know that I Am God. I will fill you with a longing to know Me more.
APOCALYPSE – RIGHT NOW!
Our generation has completely destroyed the word “apocalypse.” To our generation, apocalypse means “the worst thing that can possibly happen.” It couldn’t be further from the truth.
The word “apocalypse” actually means “the unveiling,” “the revelation” or “tadaaaaa!” It’s that light bulb moment – the moment of clarity – the epiphany, the bombshell, or the lightning bolt. And with Jesus, it’s always, always personal.
You’ll be driving down the road and come across this billboard and then “Boom!” – this deep, amazing truth comes into your life through the simplest of means and it’s personal and exclusive to you.
You go to tell your family and it’s like looking at a deer in headlights. It was a revelation just for you. So there are a lot of things you and I experience in Jesus that we go through years of loneliness because we want so bad to share it with other people and we don’t know how to explain it.
You know what? Because of this, it’s very easy for us to mistake exclusiveness for loneliness. The Body of Christ has not done a very good job talking about the exclusive way you individually know Jesus.
Here’s what’s real: there’s a way Jesus makes sense to you and there’s a way Jesus reveals Himself to you and you reflect Jesus. How Jesus shows up to you sets a precedent in your life of how you walk with God and how you demonstrate Jesus.
This is normal Christianity. If you’re going to have a real relationship with Christ, you’re going to have to seek His presence, even when you’re driving down the road, so Jesus can download some revelation into your heart. That’s intimacy.
That’s an apocalypse, right now!
“Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.” – John 17:25-16

JUST DO IT!
I Am calling you to battle your past. Put your history to rest and go after your destiny. My Spirit is calling you to better and higher things. Go after them!
JUST DO IT!
What is an overcomer? The Greek word “nikao” gives some insight. It means “one who prevails, conquers and wins victory over one’s opponents.” Nikao also means “to surmount difficulties.”
Shoe giant Nike understood this when they named their company after the word nikao.
So when you and I say we’re overcomers, we are saying we strive to prevail and stomp on the difficulties that come our way. We strive to uproot, unhinge and displace the enemy wherever we encounter it.
As an overcomer, you should have a huge value for this: you should love it when God – not you – wins the victory and gets the credit. When you do this, you live dedicated to seeing heaven invade earth.
“Whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world.” – 1 John 5:4
If you are born of God, overcoming is your only option! In 2 Samuel 23:20, Benaiah, son of Jehoiada, jumped down into a pit and took on a lion on a snowy day because he had no option to walk past it! He overcame that challenge and we are still talking about it 3,000 years later.
“Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.” – Romans 12:21
So God is inviting you, heck, He expects you to lace up your Nikes and get to work displacing evil with good, darkness with light. It’s your legacy to be an overcomer!

YOU’RE SUCH A ROCK STAR!
Choosing to see yourself as I see you gives others the opportunity to see Me in you. Choosing to see others how I see them gives you the opportunity to represent Me. Become the Jesus people need to see today and receive your blessing!
YOU’RE SUCH A ROCK STAR!
As things spin more and more out of control on this earth, know that this is why: what is celebrated in Heaven is not celebrated on earth because the King of Heaven is not celebrated on this earth. Jesus is the ruler of things in heaven and, my friend, He is good!
And Jesus said unto him, “Why call me good? None is good, except one, that is, God.” – Luke 18:19
The One who is good is coming back soon. Know that there will be more and more opposition to His appearance and, because of this, a greater hostility to His goodness and yours.
Despite this growing hostility toward good and celebration of evil, your calling as a Christ follower who understands that God is a good God, is to continue going around doing good! Not only that, you are to do good things in His name!
When the world calls you a hypocrite for calling people to repentance, call them to repentance anyway! When the world calls you a fake for feeding and clothing the poor or visiting the prisoner, do it anyway!
When the world tells you that your efforts to save the lost are futile, continue to extend a hand to the drowning. Testify to the love of Jesus and His saving grace anyway!
When the world hates you because you’re a Christian, know that the world first hated Jesus (John 15:18) for bringing light into the darkness and exposing sin. Continue shining His light anyway!
You’re not called to a life of fear even when things get tough. You are called to be a Holy Ghost rock star who stands in front of the band and shouts into the microphone that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life – no man comes to the Father except through Him.
You see, the results don’t belong to you, but to Him! Your job is to be obedient.
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. – Isaiah 55:11

UNITY IN THE COMMUNITY
The Father and I are One. The Spirit and I are One. We are three, but One God – the perfect picture of unity. The Spirit is being poured out to bring the Church together. I desire unity in My children. It starts with you.
UNITY IN THE COMMUNITY
I’ll give you another reason why Americans need the Church: because America needs a conscience. Without the Church, there is no selflessness. There is only the consumption and destruction of the mob.
But here’s the problem with the Church: it’s full of limp-wristed pansies who are so offended at how everybody else worships that we turn our battles against the other tribes.
We’re not all the same. There are black churches, white churches, and Asian churches. We have women leaders and men leaders. We’re denominational, non-denominational, and we all have different traditions, rites of passage, methods, and expressions.
Here’s what I say to all that: we are different tribes, but we all have the same King! It’s time for the body of Christ to quit fighting other churches and other Christians. Our nation is going to hell because the Church is fighting the wrong battle!
When Jesus comes back in the book of Revelation, He lists the twelve tribes and all have the exact same number in them – 12,000. 12×12,000=144,000. That number means God loves them all equally.
The number 12 is the number for perfect government. It means God governs them all equally. And while God recognizes the diversity within those tribes, He does not recognize any difference in His love toward those tribes. So we shouldn’t either.
“For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light.” – Ephesians 5:8
Remember, the church down the street is not the competition. Our enemy is the devil, and that’s a fact, Jack!

ENVY IS THE ENEMY
Don’t look at what others have in an envious way, but be thankful knowing that I can do the same thing for you. See the blessings you do have and be thankful. I reward a thankful heart!
ENVY IS THE ENEMY
If you can’t handle being despised when you haven’t done anything to deserve someone’s hatred, you can’t handle being a Christian.
Because God blesses His people, He shows favor for those who love Him. The world just can’t figure that out.
He will cause a younger son to get the inheritance or a divorced wife to find the best husband in the world. He will cause the tornado to miss your house when it destroys all those around it. Why? Because He loves to make a difference through and for insignificant people.
This doesn’t make others happy. In fact, people will become suspicious of you – even envious or hateful toward you. Why should you get a break when they don’t? Why should you be blessed when they are not? You shouldn’t have peace and joy because they don’t.
When you are hated by the world because you belong to God and He blesses you, don’t stop following God. Don’t let your detractors keep you from going after God and all He has planned for your life.
If you soldier on, He will make enemies who should defeat you, to become defeated. He will take the sickness that should kill you, and kill the disease. He will take your pain-filled head and turn it into a mouth filled with praise.
When God stands up for His children, it makes people mad. When you are obviously blessed, others get upset and jealous. These are the facts of life in a world full of death. Know it and learn to deal with it through prayer and perseverance. Your example may lead to your enemy’s salvation.
But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. – Matthew 5:44-45
If you’re blessed, you will have enemies – envy works that way. Pray for those who want the blessing you have. Ask that they be convicted, corrected and brought right with Jesus so they can be blessed as well.

THE DEVIL HATES THAT!
Let My redeemed people say so. Let them tell the story of their transformation to the broken living in darkness. You are My redeemed, restored child. Defeat the enemy with your testimony of how you were lost, but I now call you “found”!
THE DEVIL HATES THAT!
The power of redemption is just such a big deal. In the very places I have been shamed, I am honored now because redemption belongs to me.
There are people whose marriage has gone through hell. She went and did this terrible thing. He got mad and did that worse thing, and it would’ve killed everybody else, but not them. Why? Because of the power of redemption.
Redemption means they end up blessing everybody else’s marriage just because their marriage was made strong by the Spirit working in them to restore what would have broken others. Amen. That is the power of redemption.
The very river that kills everybody else blesses you. That is the power of redemption. I just love redemption.
Redemption says because Jesus Christ has paid a price for you, you can claim the power of redemption over everything. The Bible says that you have been moved from being an orphan, into being part of the family.
Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God… – John 1:12
This means the Spirit has given believers – you and I – power to be called the “sons of God” when you ought to be called an orphan. But the power of redemption calls you something completely different.
We have been moved from orphans into family. We are accepted, united in Him, and most amazing, we are no longer slaves to sin. Do you need redemption over a part of your life? Look at your marriage, your children, relationships, finances, job, and ministry. Find what’s broken and bring the Spirit of Redemption into it.
That’s snatching victory out of defeat. The devil hates that!

WHAT WILL BE
I Am the same yesterday, today and forever. While I Am constant, you are constantly changing. Follow Me into better and better until the day your past is no longer and what will be is all there is.
WHAT WILL BE
Upgrade is a kingdom principle and we, as the Body of Christ, need to have a serious value for progression. Religion has no value for progression because it always fights for the way things use to be – history. In the Kingdom, we fight for the way that things can be – destiny. Every time redemption shows up, upgrade shows up.
Redeemed people need to be able to show, “I’m not living according to how things use to be, but how things are now, and this is how things are going to be.”
You need to be able to say, “I’m not going to wait until I make a million dollars to make a million-dollar difference, because I know that’s where I’m headed. I’m not going to wait until my family has its act together before I learn how to be an awesome dad or mom, because my family is headed toward unity in Christ. Amen.”
I’m talking about having a kingdom anticipation of better, more and greater.
Religion will never do that. It doesn’t matter if it’s a Christian religion or a non-Christian religion, religion is from hell. Because it fights for the past, it fights for what no longer matters. In these last days, there’s no time to fight for the irrelevant.
The opposite of upgrade is damage, harm, impair, injure, spoil, tarnish, blemish, deface, disfigure, flawed, diminished, lessen, lower, reduce. There’s no redemption or Kingdom in any of that.
Synonyms for upgrade are improvement, advancement, enhancing, increasing, promotion, better, elevate, progress. This is not only what’s happening to redeemed people, this is what redeemed people should be doing. Redeemed people say, “Not on our watch. King Jesus rules and reigns in my life so we’re going to move the Kingdom into this situation right here.”
This is what redemption does. Are you progressing as a redeemed believer in Jesus? Are you living for and from your destiny? Put your history behind you and move forward to what can be – what will be. That’s what’s real.

PIT TO PALACE
I have promised a thousand generations to those who love Me. I see your love for Me and I celebrate that you are stewarding your generations to follow Me. Love your children like I love you – hoping and believing all things.
PIT TO PALACE
I don’t care how saved you are. You don’t get the goodness of God into your family just because you’re saved. Ask King David.
There’s no greater rockstar that’s ever lived than King David. He so pleased the Lord. He enjoyed crazy relationship, experience and favor with the Lord. The brother is the original renaissance man, but family is where he tripped up, and it cost him bitterly.
David made a terrible mistake by thinking, “I’ll raise my kids exactly the way I was raised, and my kids will turn out fine.”
Let me tell you how King David was raised. His parent just left him alone. They put him out in a field and left him to his own devices. Everybody else grew up in the house being welcomed, celebrated and taught the scriptures. David didn’t grow up in the house.
He was out with the lions, and tigers, and bears (oh my!). He’s out there in all that mess and the Spirit of the Lord moved upon him because David pursued God. He went after relationship with God because who else did he have to talk to? Who else would listen or care? David experienced God’s presence because he was desperate.
While that experience and presence made him into the “man after God’s own heart,” it didn’t help him raising his kids because he thought, “I can be a hands off kind of dad and my kids will turn out like me.”
That’s not the way it works because his kids were not him. He failed to instill that love of God in his children. There is no evidence any of them, Solomon included, pursued or experienced God the way their daddy did. What was missing was relationship.
Fathers, don’t exasperate your sons. Instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord. – Ephesians 6:4
“Exasperate” means to leave them without hope. The hope of what? Your love, honor, blessing and a right relationship with you!
If you don’t build relationships with your kids, they won’t have the first clue what a good father is like, and seeing God as a loving father will be much more difficult. Relationship, people! You’ve gotta have it before you can introduce your kids to King Jesus or “bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.”
It doesn’t matter if you live in a pit or a palace. Your kids need mamas and daddies who love them and lead them to Jesus. Where are your kids? If they’re in the field, welcome them into the house then lead them to the cross.
