THE POWER OF REDEMPTION

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

My blood paid for your redemption. There is great power in being redeemed, so use it to receive upgrade into deeper relationship and greater territory. This gift already belongs to you, so use it.

THE POWER OF REDEMPTION

The book of Exodus is all about redemption. Just look at these three extraordinary acts of redemption that take place.

First, God raises up Moses from the tribe of Levi. Before Moses shows up, nobody wanted to be a Levite. That is redemption. Where there’d been shame, now there is honor. Redemption is powerful!

Then, Moses was made safe floating in the very river that was killing all the other Hebrew boys. What was death to others was life to Moses. That is the power of redemption.

Also, the mother of Moses was actually paid by the house of Pharaoh to feed the baby Pharaoh had made it illegal to feed. The devil who was destroying the relationships between mothers and babies actually paid this momma to feed and spend time with her baby. Again, the power of redemption.

This theme is all throughout the book of Exodus and you can miss it. You could miss it in your own life too, so know this: redemption belongs to you. Did you know that? You can actually claim those three extraordinary acts for yourself because you have been redeemed. Check this out:

“Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy.” – Psalms 107:2

You know what? We are supposed to approach life from the perspective that redemption is in full operation within our lives. We’re not supposed to fight for victory. We’re supposed to fight from victory.

I know this because the book of Deuteronomy says every devil that rises up against me one way, shall have to flee from me seven different ways. That is the power of redemption.

Are you walking in the power of redemption? You probably are and don’t even know it. Even so, start speaking redemption. Claim it! Declare and decree it! Now, that’s power.

THE DEEP END

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

I have promised a thousand generations to those who love Me. Are your children part of a thousand generations? Show you love me. Reflect Me and My love, and watch your generations follow.

THE DEEP END

God loves your family. He loves the people in your family that you don’t even love. When you’re like, “I cannot believe we’re all part of the same gene pool,” Jesus is like, “Yuuup! And you’re all from the shallow end.”

While there is nothing that can bless you like family, there is nothing that can curse you like family. There’s nothing better than family, or worse than family. With that in mind, know this truth: it is God’s idea for family to be life-giving to you.

Your family being life-giving doesn’t just happen because you’re a Christian. I don’t care how saved you are. You don’t get the goodness of God into your family just because you’re saved or you attend church.

The only way you can be blessed and bring the kingdom into your family is if you partner with God in the long term. It takes hard work, prayer and intentionality. It’s something you determine, then strive for.

It’s up to you to bring the presence of God into your family. It’s not enough for you to have a relationship with Jesus. Jesus has to be part of the family so they can have a relationship with Him too.

Your walk with God doesn’t just rub off on your spouse, children, brothers and sisters. You have to introduce them. The best way is to reflect brother Jesus’ sacrificial nature. Or, you can selflessly provide and protect the way Father God does.

When they recognize God’s family resemblance in you, they’ll see that’s a gene pool they want to swim in. So invite Father God and Brother Jesus into the family and jump into the deep end!

These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. – Deuteronomy 6:6-7

THE NEXT “GREAT ONE”

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

I want more for you than you can ever imagine. You were created to do great things. I have given you a spirit of power, not of fear. Go after greatness. Glorify My Name.

THE NEXT “GREAT ONE”

If you know anything about hockey, you know about Wayne Gretzky – The Great One. They call him that for a reason, and here’s why: Gretzky is a prophet. Check out this quote on why was so much better than his competition:

“I skate to where the puck is going to be, not where it has been, and I fight my way to get there before everybody else does.”

When I first read that, I was floored because that’s all about living a prophetic lifestyle – a Kingdom lifestyle.

This is what The Great One is really saying: “Well, I’m not playing where the game is. I’m always playing where I think the game is going. While everybody else it trying to keep up with where it is, I’m always going to where I know the puck is going because that’s where the game really is.”

That’s exactly what God would have you and I do.

You and I aren’t fighting for what has been or what is. No, sir. We’re fighting for what can be. That means we’re calling those things that are not as though they are. We’re fighting for those things.

This is what prophetic people do. This is what Christians do. This is what people who are really into Kingdom living do. We’re constantly anticipating and fighting for the next place.

We’re not constantly fighting for what use to be – the way we used to worship, serve, do church or reach the lost. We’re constantly fighting for the next thing. The next move of God. The next way to reach the lost.

You and I were created to fight for the next place. We were created for upgrade. Are you ready to skate to where the puck is? Be the next “Great One.”

Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me. – Matthew 18:4

ON THE OFFENSIVE

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

While you need to defend yourself against the enemy and the things of the world, you reflect Me best when you fight from an offensive stance. Chase down evil. Tear it out by the roots. It’s your legacy from Me.

ON THE OFFENSIVE

While your fight is not for survival, you do need to know that there is certainly a fight going on.

The Promised Land is not for wimps and cowards. The Promised Land is not for people who need to be held and cuddled. That’s what the wilderness is for.

Listen, all of us need those times when we’re just held by God. But there comes a time where you pull up your big boy pants and Father God doesn’t talk baby talk to you anymore.

There comes a time guys, when God will change His voice. He’s not going to change His Word, but He’s going to change His voice toward you because you get into the fight.

When you do, He says, “OK man, I love you. I believe in you. Here’s a sword and I double-dog dare you to go take down some walled cities. I double-dog dare you to go slay some kings who want to be in alliance with you who are against Me.”

So you break down some walls in your marriage and with your kids. You break down walls of poverty and lack. You tear down fear, doubt, depression and disease. When Father God sees you going on the offensive, He’s proud, but that’s just the start.

The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.  – 2 Corinthians 10:4

He says, “I double-dog dare you to go further. Do not avoid giants. Go find ‘em, and here’s what I want you to do: I want you to take your sword, hack off their head and hang it up in your house. Use ‘em as trophies. You don’t avoid them, you show them off to everyone.”

Show off the trophy of sobriety. Hang up the trophy of a changed life so the world will see that you are a warrior and your God backed you up. That is your legacy. That is your heritage in the Lord. Go! Take it.

REFINER’S FIRE

TODAY’S  PROPHETIC WORD

I know your heart and know you can handle change. Be prepared to accept this change and use it for My Kingdom, even if it’s hard.

REFINER’S FIRE

Most people can’t handle a fast rise to the top because instant change is required. This is the reality of upgrade and forward.

It is one thing for God to reveal His wonderful plan for you. It is another thing for you to conform your life to the image of that plan. Let’s go back to the example of Saul.

Saul was the king of Israel in title, but not in his heart. He was made king instantly and never conformed his way of thinking or sought after the will of God. That’s why God went and found a man “after God’s own heart.”

You see, David was willing to go through a very difficult process to conform his life to the image of the Lord’s plan to be a Godly king. And, he had to do it before he ever saw the plan manifest.

David was ostracized by his family and sent to tend sheep – a thankless and dangerous job. He faced and killed an evil giant, something no man in Israel, including Saul, would attempt. He endured Saul’s jealousy and numerous attempts to hunt him down and kill him.

He endured years of exile in the wilderness surrounded by snakes, scorpions, and scoundrels. He was shamed, slandered and scorned publicly by those who should have respected him. Yet, these things prepared him for his upgrade to king.

Poor Saul was exactly the opposite. He ended up begging for death on the bloody slopes of Gilboa. It wasn’t his upgrade that killed him. It was his inability to change once the upgrade happened that cost Saul his life. There was a whole new life of responsibilities required of him, but he never embraced or owned up to them, or the God who made it all possible.

That’s not you! You go after God’s heart, so be prepared to embrace your upgrade despite hard times, setbacks and disappointments. Fire is needed to refine pure gold so ask Jesus to turn up the heat and hang on!

For You have tried us, O God; You have refined us as silver is refined. You brought us into the net; You laid an oppressive burden upon our loins. You made men ride over our heads; We went through fire and through water, Yet You brought us out into a place of abundance. – Psalms 66:10-12

BEAUTIFUL FEET

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

I love your heart and your efforts to bring people into My family. I call you and your feet beautiful for taking the Gospel to a hurting world!

BEAUTIFUL FEET

Jesus commanded His followers to be witnesses to Him to the ends of the earth. This means you and I need to tell others about the greatness of Christ. Every time you tell His story, you are unleashing some of your untapped greatness— your upgrade to the next level.

Heaven applauds when you bring a lost sheep home to the house of God. But what is heaven’s reaction when you blow it witnessing to a co-worker or trying to bring a friend to the hope and peace of Jesus? What happens when you epically fail?

God smiles! He applauds!

Father God is pleased with your effort because you are not charged with the results — He is!  We are told to plant seeds and water them, but never are you and I called harvesters. God Himself reserves that difficult job for Himself.

Know this: the Devil will try to convince you God is disappointed, even angry at your failure. The enemy wants you to give up and shut up. Remember, the Bible says the devil is the “father of lies” who stands at the throne accusing you day and night.

When you’re worried you’re going to mess up, you freeze up and shut up. It’s a huge win for hell when the enemy convinces you that God is angry at you for not sharing the Gospel or messing it all up.

Let your mind be healed of that mess!  Christ shed His blood to come against ALL the work of the Devil, including his lies.

You are a work in progress, learning and growing in wisdom and relationship. God is certainly proud of your efforts. Because His word never returns void and always accomplishes the purpose set out for it, you are a messenger and “how beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”

Do what you can. Don’t worry about falling flat on your face. The end result is God’s. Be faithful and have beautiful feet!

How will they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good things!” – Romans 10:15

THE BELT OF TRUTH

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

Immerse yourself in the truth of My Word. Proclaim and declare My goodness over yourself and your house. You are a warrior!

THE BELT OF TRUTH

I love to read about the Full Armor of God in Ephesians chapter 6. As a true Texan and warrior for Jesus, the armor not only has deep meaning for me, it is a motivation to go after Kingdom upgrade and advance the Gospel.

Though we like to talk about the sword, the shield, helmet and breastplate, there’s not a lot of talk about the piece of the armor that may just be the most important – the Belt of Truth.

The reason truth is seen as a belt in this scripture is because truth is what holds all your armor together under pressure. Surprisingly, God says the belt of truth is the first piece of armor you put on and that you should “gird your loins” with it.

Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;   –1 Peter 1:13

Remember, the Bible tells you that your loins are between your ears.

See, the mind is a reproductive organ. What you think becomes your words, attitudes, and actions. If you are fearful, you will reproduce fear in all you say and do to the detriment of others. If you think about your past, your failures, or the enemies surrounding you, you will reproduce those things in your life.

Truth has everything to do with your mind. If you’re going to armor up, God says truth is the way to hold yourself together when the battle for your mind heats up.

What truth is that? First, the truth of scripture – that Jesus is God, He became a man, died for your sins and rose again to give you a place at His Father’s family table. Second, the truth of who you are to God – His beloved child, a warrior who need not fear because no weapon fashioned against you shall prosper.

However, for that to happen, you must hold your thought life together with the belt of truth. And remember, facts and truth are different. Facts are temporary. Truth is eternal and never changes.

It may be a fact that your spouse left you, but it’s the truth that God knows who you are and what you are worth. The nightly news gives you the facts, as does the doctor after a checkup. However, only the Holy Spirit gives you the truth.

However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. – John 16:13

OVERCOMING VICTORY

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

I have already won the victory. That means you’re already an overcomer mighty through Me in the pulling down of strongholds and casting down of evil imaginations. Take your Promised Land. Tear down the walls!

OVERCOMING VICTORY

Sometimes, you’re so worn out from fighting the wrong battles, you don’t have any strength or any skill sets to fight the right battle. In the Promised Land, God works all that out.

The battle you fight in the Promised Land is for advancement. It’s for upgrade. It’s for more and greater – the establishment of what you’ve always prayed for. It’s the “amen” to God’s “yes.”

“For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.” – 2 Corinthians 1:20

So, in short, the battles you face in the Promised Land are the challenges, threats, and the opposition to anything that has to do with your kingdom advancement.

There are three threats in the Promised Land that do not come against you in the wilderness. The thing that comes against you in the wilderness is starvation, thirst, and snakes.

Once you get out of the wilderness, the things that come against you are walled cities (mental strongholds), alliances with ungodly kings (operating in worldly systems), and giants (demonic intimidation). Boom!

While the opposition looks big, bad and downright formidable, you have all you need to tear down the walls, defeat the evil kings and cut off the heads of the giants threatening your upgrade. You start to fight, and brother Jesus – captain of the Lord’s armies – backs you up.

Remember, in the Promised Land, you fight from victory, not for it. If you’re fighting from victory, you’ve already won. Thanks to Jesus, you’re an overcomer.

IT’S BEST TO BE BLESSED

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

You’ve been blessed to be a blessing! So great are your blessings that you can walk through rising rivers and not be swept away and run all out and not faint. Remain focused on Me and watch your blessings grow.

IT’S BEST TO BE BLESSED

Let me blow your mind a little this morning with a revelation I’m sure you’ve never been told: It takes hard work and commitment to be blessed.

What? Aren’t you just blessed because you’re God’s child? Yes, you are, but also no, you’re not. You see, it takes selflessness and a willingness to change your way of thinking to match God’s if you want to move forward.

People who walk in the promises of God are people who have been through difficult things to get there. Just because they do not smell like smoke, doesn’t mean they haven’t been through the fire.

Meshack, Shadrack, and Abednego can tell you from experience that even though it looks painless, changing your attitude and conforming to God’s will tends to hurt. You learn not to give in to the pain and discomfort because you know God will reward you. When the reward comes, you tend to forget the pain.

A woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow because her hour has come; but as soon as she has given birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world. – John 16:21

When you refuse to “yield your members” (Romans 6:13) and conform your life to the heart and dreams of God, you actually forfeit your upgrade. Saul gave up his upgrade, along with his crown, family, and nation because he refused to conform to God’s very clear order.

So Samuel said to him, “The Lord has torn the kingdom of Israel from you today, and has given it to a neighbor of yours, who is better than you.” – 1 Samuel 15:28

Don’t be like Saul. Hang on to your upgrade. Work for it and fight for it. Being blessed is something you strive for. It will cost you, but the reward is worth it.

And the satraps, administrators, governors, and the king’s counselors gathered together, and they saw these men on whose bodies the fire had no power; the hair of their head was not singed nor were their garments affected, and the smell of fire was not on them. – Daniel 3:27

ON TARGET

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

My word says that children are like arrows in a Father’s quiver. You are My arrow. The lost and enslaved are My target. I have taken aim and you will accomplish the task I’ve set out for you.

ON TARGET

Truth means “this is real” and when you stand with truth, you stand with what’s real.

You’re not standing with the frenzy of emotions or the mob of hell that has a political or social agenda. When you stand with Jesus – the personification of the Truth – you’re standing with what’s real.

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” – John 14:6

Truth is also what’s on target with the Kingdom. If your arrow is “true” that means it’s “on target” – that the King and the Kingdom are what it’s all about. The Kingdom is where the King has dominion. So when you look at a mob, ask yourself, “Is that what the Kingdom looks like?”

If it’s not on target with the Kingdom, it ain’t true. My friends, if you don’t know the Truth, you will be caught up in such bondage today because the devil has an agenda to keep you distracted from what’s real.

To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” – John 8: 31-32

When you know the Truth – Jesus – is in something, you know what to fight for. If the truth isn’t in something, free yourself of that mob. Amen!

The Church in America is so important in this day. We have such a significant role to play. The Church has the answer and the world does not. The world offers drama – mobs full of drama that steal, kill and destroy just like their master, the devil.

All the devil’s apples have worms in them, and with all the free stuff that‘s being offered by the socialists of our day, comes a new link in a brand new chain of slavery.

America needs Christianity because America needs a memory. It needs to remember that Truth has a name and that name is Jesus Christ. He has set us free. So take aim and let your arrow fly to the target – the hearts of the enslaved. That’s the Kingdom!
