THE POWER OF UNIQUENESS
I Am the potter and you are My clay. I mold you into the kind of vessel that brings Me delight. I choose your shape, color and purpose to bring Me glory. You are wonderfully made!
THE POWER OF UNIQUENESS
If you are able to describe the power of God within your life, you have no power of God within your life. It is so important that you and I tap into some things that are, in fact, indescribable.
One of the reasons the power and the gifts of God – the majesty and brilliance of God – are so indescribable is they are unique to each of us. They don’t belong to anybody else because while God loves us all the same, He doesn’t speak or appear to us all the same way.
The principle of uniqueness is important because uniqueness has to do with intimacy and things that are personal. There’s a big part of my walk with God that is personal. It doesn’t belong to anybody else.
Some of the most powerful things in your life are only going to belong to you. Religion will never teach you that. A religious church will tell you we’re all supposed to have the same walk, talk exactly the same, that there’s not supposed to be any diversity among us – nothing unique – we all act the same. Right?
What’s real is, God isn’t doing the same thing within me that He’s doing in you. Yes, He’s saved us through one way – the cross of the Lord Jesus Christ – and there is no other way, I promise you that. But, I’m not trying to get saved anymore. I’m already saved!
Now I’m trying to live like I’m saved and so are you. How I walk that out is going to look different from how you walk that out. God is so good that He didn’t give us all the same identity, purpose and destiny. That’s where our power lies. Each of us fulfills something unique in His Kingdom, for His purpose and His glory.
However, you are chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, people who belong to God. You were chosen to tell about the excellent qualities of God, who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. – 1 Peter 2:9
Today, I dare you to live like you’re saved. Fulfill something unique for the Kingdom and give God the glory!

SEEKING GOD COMES WITH OFFENSE. CAN YOU HANDLE IT?
I Am a God who pursues. Some call Me the Hound of Heaven because I pursue your heart no matter where it runs. Seek Me and you will not only find Me – I will run to you – never from you.
GONE TO THE DOGS
I’m going to tell you from personal experience, there’s a very offensive side to Jesus. I found it outright offensive when He told me to be a giver and I was flat broke. It’s offensive that He wakes me up in the middle of the night and tells me to seek Him.
When Jesus gets offensive, I have a choice and so do you. Seek and follow Him or not. It’s offense that keeps us from seeking.
There’s a Canaanite woman in the Bible who followed Jesus around desperate for a word of healing for her demon-possessed daughter. Jesus called her a dog! She was getting on the nerves of all the disciples, and Jesus picked up that so He’s like, “watch how the disciples approve of Me offending this woman.”
“He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.” The woman came and knelt before him. “Lord, help me,” she said. He replied, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to their dogs.” She replied, “Yes Lord, but even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters’ table.” – Matthew 15:24-27
It’s like Jesus was saying, “Uhm, excuse me, ma’am. I don’t really have anything for you because what I have is for the children of God and not for dogs.”
Jesus called a woman a dog and she refused to get offended. Instead, she said, “Oh, you’re calling me a dog? Well, that means I get to sit under the table and eat the crumbs. Those crumbs will heal my daughter.”
Jesus didn’t say that to humiliate her. He wanted to expose the fact that she refused to be offended. She was going to seek Him, and seek Him, and seek Him until she finally got something. Then He turns to the disciples and is like, “I wish you guys were like her.”
Seeking is a big deal, but you have to get past the offense that surrounds it. It’s not easy, convenient or free. It will cost you some pride, but it’s worth it!

FORGETTING YOUR FIRST LOVE?
If you lack knowledge, My word instructs you to ask. Need faith? Make your request known and I will fulfill it. Lacking in love for others or for Me? I Am the supplier of love. I give liberally to all who ask because I Am Love and I Am limitless.
FORGETTING YOUR FIRST LOVE?
In the book of Revelation, God is disappointed with the church of Ephesus. He tells them,
Nevertheless, I have this against you, that you have left your first love. – Revelation 2:4
What does He mean? What is their first love? It’s this: They have left the principle of how everything works in the spiritual realm. That is so very true of many churches across the world today.
Hey, just because it was written to the church in Ephesus does not mean it doesn’t apply to us today. To help you see where I’m really trying to go with this, let me pull from another book by John.
“We love Him because He first loved us.” – 1 John 4:19
God acted first – He initiated – by loving us. Our response is to love Him back.
Can I say this? You have no capacity to love God whatsoever. Only God can love God. God is holy, just, righteous, sanctified, set apart, justified. Only God has the ability to fully understand and love Himself.
You and I are marred, smeared, corrupted by sin. We’re human beings. How do we have the ability to love God? We don’t. Therefore, God had to love us first. By loving us, He’s equipped us to love Him back.
When we forget this, when we start loving ourselves, our jobs, family, money and even our comfort more than God. He’s the most awesome person ever and He deserves to be number one in our lives.
Have you forgotten how love works in the spiritual realm – that God provides the love you need to love Him back. Repent! Put things right and run back to your first love today.

WHAT HAS BEWITCHED YOU?
A divided mind is a divided heart. You cannot serve two masters because you will love one and hate the other. Serve only Me. My yoke is easy and My burden is light.
WHAT HAS BEWITCHED YOU?
The devil and Jesus are not in competition. What that cosmic punk is truly competing for is your attention.
There are things competing for your attention and for what you devote your life to, so you need to focus and get in alignment for your assignment.
There’s not a single one of us God hasn’t called to steward money. That means we ought to have sources in our life teaching us how to handle money. We are all called to have next level relationships. We should be reading books, have mentors and be studying what the Word of God says about those kinds of things.
Think about how much of your time and attention toward these things are being stolen by the wicked writers of Hollywood. Do you know what Harry Potter’s wand is made out of? Holly. Holly wood. Wood of holly is a witch’s wand. The church of Galatia knew this all too well.
“You foolish Galatians. Who has bewitched you?” – Galatians 3:1
“But Pastor Troy, you don’t know how entertaining all this stuff is. It’s just fun and I need to just decompress and relax. It doesn’t affect me.”
Can I tell you something? This brother is not against seeing movies. I love movies. I love stories. I’m not against that. But here’s what I’m against: giving all my life and all my devotion to things that are not in alignment with my assignment, and my assignment is to serve people. That’s wisdom.
So, what is competing for your time and attention? An iffy relationship, your job, an addiction or your favorite sports team? Think about it for a minute.
If you know more about the Dallas Cowboys or Game of Thrones than you do about your purpose or God-given destiny, you need to use some of that God-given self-control to take back your territory. Tell that cosmic punk to get lost and follow Jesus into alignment for your assignment.

DO YOU RESEMBLE YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER?
I am a perfect creator. I created you in your mother’s womb with a purpose to reproduce heaven on earth. My word tells you in Matthew 28 to go and make disciples, so go.
WHO’S YOUR DADDY?
Heaven is reproducing through you. Why? Because God hates bareness. He wants you to be fruitful and multiply. That doesn’t necessarily mean have lots of kids. It means multiply your fruitfulness no matter what part of your life it’s in.
Now, reproduction only happens through intimate relationship. You need to understand that if heaven is not being produced in your life, that ain’t on God. That’s on you. “But Pastor Troy, if God wants me to have a good marriage, I’ll have a good marriage – but since I don’t, it must be the will of God.” Hogwash!
You will eventually hate God for the misery in your life and it has nothing to do with His love toward you. It has to do with your inability to carry that baby all the way through and bear fruit in your marriage.
I once knew a young lady who had two miscarriages. She desperately desired to please her husband and start a family. She began to wonder if her body was able to carry a baby to full term. Needless to say, they kept trying. I see my friend now and she is the proud mother of three!
Some years later, her daughter lost twins and my friend began to wonder if it was inherited. My friend realized that perhaps there was some fruit from her miscarriages. It gave her empathy so her daughter didn’t feel hopeless and alone.
Here’s what’s real: you will fail in life. God has a plan for you whether it makes sense or not. My friend chose not to blame God but trusted she would one day reproduce. She did and her daughter looks just like her daddy. Do you?
Do you resemble your heavenly Father at all?
So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. – Genesis 1:27
When life knocks your face in the dirt, look up. There might be a blossom on that branch and fruit is not far behind. Reproduce the goodness of God and you’ll have an awesome harvest.

CAN YOU HEAR GOD’S WHISPER?
You are My beloved. I whisper deep and meaningful mysteries into your heart. Do you hear them? Let Me be your love. Tell Me what is in your soul so I can make you whole.
…TO GOD’S EAR
God hears your prayers right where you’re at. That, I promise you. However, you go to special places for special prayers to get special outcomes. The One who instructs us to do that is Jesus.
“But you, when you pray, go into your closet, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.” – Matthew 6:6
Matthew 6:6 is interesting to me. The number six has to do with man or the flesh. Anytime you see the number twice, it’s as a witness to mankind. Maybe that’s why there are 66 books in the Bible – it’s a witness to mankind.
So, this witness to man in Matthew 6:6 is Jesus telling us there are things you talk to Him in private that you don’t pray in the open. As a matter of fact, He says you need to shut the door.
Is it magic to shut or open a door? No. It’s that this is a “secret place” type of prayer and He’s saying you need to learn to match your environment with the prayer you’re praying and even the outcome you’re looking for.
Atmosphere is such a big deal. You have to line up the environment to what is in your heart. That includes the atmosphere, the setting and for more public prayers, even the culture. It’s about being intentional with God in your relationship just as you are intentional with people.
You don’t have intimate or revealing conversations in a crowd. Just like that, you don’t take your spouse away to a candle light dinner to gripe and complain. If you do, the result will not be what you were hoping for.
Consider your prayers. What result do you want? Set the atmosphere and enter in with a heart set on hearing Him speak to you. Let the desires of your heart, your petitions, and declarations go from your lips to God’s ear.

A DIFFERENT SPIRIT
I know the plans I have for you, but do you know them? Follow your heart. Serve, minister to the lost and hurting, and spread kindness so those who don’t know Me will see My goodness in you.
A DIFFERENT SPIRIT
As America is bound and determined to be more and more and more Roman, our society becomes more like the floor of the coliseum. The reason I say that is to say this: have a different Spirit than what the world has.
Have a different heart. Be somebody who does not answer evil for evil, but answers evil with the goodness of God.
You don’t answer evil with a bigger evil. That’s not what the Body of Christ does. Can you say amen to that? And here’s what else you don’t do: you don’t answer everybody who wants you to come down from building the wall that God Almighty called you to build.
Feeding the hungry, rescuing girls from sexual slavery and giving orphans a home are the walls I’m called to build. I don’t come down from kingdom projects and get out of alignment from those things to answer my critics. You shouldn’t either.
Nehemiah didn’t when three evil men wanted to top him from rebuilding the wall that protected Jerusalem during the Babylonian captivity, and those brothers tried four times!
But they were scheming to harm me so I sent messenger to them with this reply: “I am carrying on a great project and cannot go down. Why should the work stop while I lear it and go down to you? – Nehemiah 6:2b-3
Are you letting the world pull you away from your assignment? Stay on that wall and answer your critics with kindness, love and dig deep for that self control. Be of a different spirit – the Holy Spirit.

WHAT IS GOD INITIATING IN YOU?
I’ve been calling to you throughout your life. Do you hear My voice knocking? Open the door to your life. Let Me make My home within you and you will be alone no more.
SUSTAINING SALVATION
Let me talk a bit about salvation. You understand that the way you come into salvation is the same way that your salvation is sustained, right? God initiates and we respond.
The only way you became a Believer, the only way you walked in and embraced the gift of eternal life is because God initiated it in the beginning and then you responded. In fact, Jesus says this really cool thing in the last book of the Bible:
“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock…”
He’s initiating something. He’s bringing something to your attention.
“…if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” – Revelation 3:20
So, the same way you get into salvation is the same that salvation is sustained. God initiates and we respond. I guess that makes us first responders! Our purpose in this relationship is to respond to whatever it is He initiates in our lives.
What is God initiating in your marriage or your family? Is He trying to do a new thing in your work or ministry, your health or your financial wealth? Start paying attention and respond.
Remember, we love Him because He first loved us. Respond to His direction, His prompting and His Word. That’s how you sustain your salvation and finish the race.

CLAIM YOUR REWARD
I Am the Prince of Peace. Wherever I have dominion, I bring that peace. Let Me rule and reign in your heart and I will give you peace of mind. It is your reward for seeking My Kingdom.
CLAIM YOUR REWARD
Seeking is a big deal to God. He tells us over and over again to seek, but what is it we’re seeking?
But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. – Matthew 6:33
The Kingdom means His sovereign rule, royal power, where the King has dominion and the power of God is present. The Kingdom is seeing to it that you give God His rightful place in every single area of your life.
Are you giving Him your finances, your thought life and your relationships? What about your tongue? That’s a big one that’s hard to turn over to the Kingdom, but my friend, you need to if you’re going to be righteous.
And righteousness is the other thing you should be seeking. That means “right standing” or being “morally right.” It also means “justified.” When you ask Jesus to be your savior and get yourself saved, you become justified by the sacrifice of His blood and you have right standing in the family of God.
So, if you’re seeking and you’re finding, the Bible verse above says you qualify for a reward. I like the way the King James says it, “all these things shall be added unto you.” That means there is upgrade attached to seeking.
So, what are you waiting for? Seeking leads to finding the Kingdom and His righteousness. Claim your reward. Go after God and start seeking.

DEFEATING THE DEVIL
I have made you mighty for the pulling down of strongholds and casting down of evil imaginations. Stop imagining your enemy, the devil, as more powerful than Me. Better yet, stop thinking of him as more powerful than you.
DEFEATING THE DEVIL
When it comes to the devil, people have got it backward – especially religious folks. Here’s the big problem: everyone thinks the devil and Jesus are in some kind of head-to-head competition. Nope.
The devil is not in competition with Jesus. The devil is a created being and a cosmic punk. He’s a knuckle-head with no self-control whatsoever because he has zero fruit of the Holy Spirit – none, zip, nada!
“But Pastor Troy, I’m scared the devil will kill me.” If the devil could kill you he would. How do I know? Because he has no self-control. With that said, don’t give him a place to kill you by stepping out from under God’s hand.
Everyone makes the devil so big and so powerful. Here’s what’s real: you and I are the ones who are big and powerful, and we turn our dominion over to the devil. Any power or authority the devil has, he actually stole from us or tricked us into giving it to him.
So quit making the devil all big and bad!
“But Pastor Troy, here the devil comes again to mess with my life. I wish he would just leave me alone.” If the devil is messing with you, get out of his playpen!
Stop watching the shows you watch, listening to the ungodly music you listen to, talking about the worldly stuff you’re talking about and generally giving him a place to attack you because you’re on his territory – enemy ground.
Be involved in holy things. The devil has no part in those things, but Jesus does. The Holy Spirit is in that territory and when you get on the right battlefield, the devil is no match for you. You’re a bad-motor-scooter, I promise you.
Be an overcomer. Pick up the Sword of the Spirit to fight that mess in your mind. Grasp that Shield of Faith and extinguish some fiery darts. You are an overcomer so get to work and send the devil packing!
For though we live int eh world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. – 1 Corinthians 10: 4
