WHAT IS GOD MULTIPLYING THROUGH YOU?

TODAY’S PROPHETIC THOUGHT

Seek first My Kingdom and all these things shall be added unto you. All means ALL! Count it all joy to love your neighbor. I will multiply your efforts and many will be saved!

ADDITION TO MULTIPLICATION

I’ve heard it said that people add but God multiplies. What is it God is trying to multiply through you? Maybe it’s love. Perhaps it’s a servant’s heart. Fact is, true belief gives birth to action – Not faith by works but serving God because you’re grateful and you love Him too.

Faith that sits on the church pew or the couch doesn’t bring heaven to earth. Works without faith are just as dead. There can be no birth of a ministry or Kingdom mindset without both. Listen to what Jesus’ brother James had to say about this:

What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? – James 2:14-16

We can tell people Jesus loves them all day long, but until we express that love through selfless acts of service, they won’t get it. They won’t meet Jesus until you and I put two and two together by loving and demonstrating the Kingdom.

Are you reproducing? Perhaps you’re quite comfy where you are. Just know that comfortable is never a good place to be. Get out of the cheap seats and into the game. Step out in faith, you may be surprised what God will multiply through you.

REMEMBER YOUR FIRST LOVE?

TODAY’S PROPHETIC THOUGHT

You have been anointed to do good works – to bring My presence into dark places. Is there oil in your lamp? Do you know your identity, purpose and destiny? I do. You are to be a city on a hill, which cannot be hidden.

PRIVATE OR PUBLIC?

The book of Revelation tells us of the church of Ephesus. The people there had followed the rules, which was admirable, but they had done so at a price. They lost their “first love.”

What is first love? It’s the wonder of knowing God personally, deeply and intimately, just like you did when you first got saved. It’s relationship. It’s His presence.

You should want the manifest presence of Jesus in your want life, your thought life, your family, ministry – you get my drift. You should want His manifest presence in every single part of your life. If not, the Word says He will remove His lamp stand.

That means He’ll take His manifest presence elsewhere.

Why does a candlestick represent His manifest presence? Because there is a light on top of it and oil inside of it. There is this miraculous connection between the oil of God, which is His anointing, and His manifest Presence, which is His light.

The oil of God is His anointing. My friend, you are anointed by God to be somebody in this generation. He could’ve had you born at any time, to any ethnicity of people, in any economic situation, but He chose you to be you for such a time as this, and that makes you significant.

The anointing within your life – the oil of the Lord and the overflow of the presence of the Lord in your private life – is made manifest in your public life. So, the oil is on the inside. That represents your private life with Jesus. The light is on the outside. That represents your public life with Him.

Do you want to see Jesus show up publicly? Learn to cherish Him privately.

Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first. 5 Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place. – Revelation 2:4-5

WANNA BE A GREAT LEADER?

TODAY’S PROPHETIC THOUGHT

Serving others ushers in the miraculous. When you lay down your life for the good of others, you are the most like Me. Do not fear failure. I Am within you and will work through your hands, your feet and your efforts. Let My Spirit lead you.

PRIME MINISTER

Did you know the word “minister” means “servant”? That means all of us reading this devotion today are ministers. It’s doesn’t matter what our day job is. Whether you’re a trash man, a radio personality, a momma or daddy – whatever it is you do, you are a minister and your ministry is seen by who and how you serve.

Service is all about ministry.

For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.  – Mark 10:45

Jesus said that He didn’t come to be served. Think about that. The maker of the universe came to serve others. Why would He do that? Because all great leaders are servants first and Jesus is the greatest leader ever!

Want to be a great leader in your family or in your job? Want to lead many into the Kingdom through ministry? Be a servant first and foremost. It’s that simple!

Now, Jesus also said He came to give His life as a ransom for many – that is the ultimate act of service. While at first glance it seems we couldn’t possibly follow those footsteps, let me tell you this: Jesus is the blueprint and we are to become just like Him!

When you minister to others, lay down your life for that calling. Don’t be swayed by time or money. Don’t let your critics keep you from serving others. Lay down your comfort, your time, talents and your treasure to lead the lost to Jesus. He is our Prime Minister and the ultimate servant.

GOING HIS WAY

TODAY’S PROPHETIC THOUGHT

Just as the way to the throne room is through the servant’s quarters, the way to My table is through the living room. I desire you to be family. That requires time, transparency and trust. Live life with Me so I can take you to your destiny.

GOING HIS WAY?

Co-laboring with God is a process you have to learn. It doesn’t just happen automatically. You need to be dedicated to and committed to the process as each new layer is added.

You learn how to hold on to your dreams – those “babies” you want to see born. See, what God desires is fruit. Fruit is what happens when the seed is planted and the harvest is cultivated and that doesn’t just happen with a snap of your fingers. You don’t learn God in the miracles. You learn God in the process to those miracles.

God Almighty did miracles for Israel over and over again and they turned their backs on Him. Only the people who were willing to go through the process and learn intimacy with Him as they walked with Him had fruit in their lives.

You and I want to say the magic words and “Poof” this thing you want magically happens. When you just want the result without the process, when you want intimacy without relationship, that’s rebellion against God. Ouch!

We can’t rebel against God and say, “I want the benefits of knowing You, but I don’t really want to know you.” He will not honor that.

What does He honor? Effort, hard work, time, commitment. You have to labor toward some things and relationship with God is one of them. You have to carry some things through the process and walk it all the way through even when the road is tough.

Think of it like an ox. If you’re yoked together with God, but you don’t want to move forward with Him, you’re going to have a giant pain in the neck! You must work with Him for fruit in your mind, ministry, marriage, family, job, and your words.

Are you unequally yoked? If you are, that’s on you! God’s going in the direction of your destiny. You best be going His way.

FAMILY IS NOT FOR WIMPS

TODAY’S PROPHETIC THOUGHT

I desire a godly generation. That’s why I have grafted you into My family. I have promised life to a thousand generations of those who love Me. Bring life to those I have surrounded you with. Bring them to the table.

CLEANING HOUSE

All of us go through terrible things – times we thought things were going to be better than they were. But Jesus is always born in these kinds of situations. God loves to bless a horrible mess.

If anything is messy, it’s family. If you’re disappointed in your family dynamic, or you find yourself completely alone – it’s always been like that. Even the very first family was a terrible mess – remember Cain and Abel?

Just so you know, Jesus’ family was no different. When Mary turned up pregnant but none of the relatives had been to a wedding, the judgment began. Bad blood was stirred up. They threw Joseph and his beautiful bride to the animals.

It wasn’t the way it was supposed to be, yet the greatest miracle the world has ever seen outside of the resurrection happened in the midst of that terrible mess.

My friends, I want to encourage you that family is not for wimps. No matter how bad things get, know that Jesus loved his family despite the times they disappointed him. His mom, brothers and sisters actually tried to have him committed!

Then Jesus entered a house, and again a crowd gathered, so that he and his disciples were not even able to eat. When his family heard about this, they went to take charge of him, for they said, “He is out of his mind.” – Mark 3:20-21

That’s whack! However, when His own family didn’t believe in Him, Jesus didn’t give up on them. Just like the masses crowding that room, He knew they needed a savior. So does your crazy family. Introduce them to Jesus. He’s good at cleaning house.

WHO ARE YOU SEEKING AFTER?

TODAY’S PROPHETIC THOUGHT

I Am pleased with your pursuit. Come into the secret place. Read My story and let it speak into your heart. I want to know you and be known by you. I Am an open book.

AS SIMPLE AS THAT

There is a Kingdom principle that makes Father God smile. It melts His heart and makes Him willing to give you the Kingdom. That principle is seeking.

Seeking proves that you want it. Seeking qualifies you for the thing you’re looking for, whether it’s your identity, your purpose, God’s face, deeper relationship – whatever it is. Seek and your Abba says you will find.

Think of it as an Easter egg hunt. You want to go after something good in your life that glorifies God or draws you closer to Him? Those “eggs” are hidden in plain site. He rolls them right past and all you have to do is pick them up.

It’s so important it is to live a seeker-lifestyle. Someone who is seeking the Kingdom and seeking to go to the next level in everything they do. Why? God meets people in the place of seeking.

Anytime you see Jesus say, “Lo,” what He’s saying is ‘“look for me.” Jesus meets you in the place of seeking. He likes to be pursued. And when you’re not seeking Him and He shows up, you don’t know that He’s there.

Don’t let that be you. Don’t be so focused on lesser things that you forget to continually seek Him in that secret place. It’s His presence that qualifies you for upgrade.

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. – Matthew 7:7

The number seven is all about the Spirit of God. That’s what you’re seeking. That’s the door you’re knocking on. It’s His good pleasure to give you the Kingdom. It’s as simple as that.

IT’S ALL ABOUT INTIMACY

TODAY’S PROPHETIC THOUGHT

You are My child and it pleases Me to be your Father. Like all good fathers, I wish to see you grow and develop. When you do, we have so much more to talk about – to look forward to. It’s OK to get out of My lap and go after more. I’m there too but as your friend.

IT’S ALL ABOUT INTIMACY

Intimacy is such a big deal to God and it should be to you as well. You can’t really know somebody without becoming obsessed with their heart – knowing what they love and what they hate. You have to come into alignment with that to have true intimacy. It’s like that with God too.

In the Kingdom, it’s all about the different levels of intimacy in relationship. When it comes to sonship, it’s all about being an heir. You can run to your daddy for help or just sit in HIs lap and be loved.

“For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.” – Romans 8:15-17

Now, there is another level to relationship with God that’s just as intimate, but it reveals a totally different side of His character and yours.

“Thus the Lord used to speak to Moses face to face, just as a man speaks to his friend…” – Exodus 33:1

When you are a friend of God, you don’t get the inheritance. You get His counsel and His partnership, but not the inheritance. Sons get the inheritance. If you are an heir with Jesus, that means everything that’s been given to Jesus has also been given to you. And the same way He’s been glorified, He wants to give to you! Yes! It’s that radical!

But it’s not friendship. It’s not that other level where you’re partnering with God for Kingdom advancement. Where you move into your Promised Land and your friend God counsels you and backs you up. This is for big boys and girls who want meat and not milk. They want to serve and not be served.

If the way to the throne room is through the servants quarters, the way to the Promised Land is through partnership. And get this, you can be a son and a friend at the same time! God doesn’t relegate you to one or the other. Sonship is for certain seasons as is friendship. Do you want to speak to Jesus face to face? Partner with God. Step out to your upgrade.

GET OUT OF SOMEONE ELSE’S FIELD

TODAY’S PROPHETIC THOUGHT

My Father has given you a field. Don’t go planting your seeds in someone else’s territory. It will not yield a harvest. Stay with what He has for you. His ways are higher than yours.

GET OUT OF MY FIELD

God wants a harvest out of you. That’s why He gave you a very specific territory – your job, family, city – whatever your circle of influence is. That’s also why He gave you a testimony – your unique story to touch the lives of the lost and hurting.

The problem is, we sometimes try to help God by sharing our territory and adding to our testimony. That, my friend, is a big mistake because you can’t plant two different seeds beside each other.

“You shall not sow your vineyard with different kinds of seed, lest the yield of the seed which you have sown and the fruit of your vineyard be defiled.” – Deuteronomy 22:9

Stick to your territory and your unique assignment. For example, there are people who want to partner with our church in saving girls out of sex trafficking, but they say, “You don’t have to do that in India or Uganda. You can do that here.”

Look, there’s nothing wrong with what they’re doing, but get out of my field! This is what God has brought to me. This is what the Lord has told me to steward and it’s in India right now.

Don’t be mad at me because I’ve got ‘maters and you’ve got cucumbers. I’m not going to cross-pollinate with you. Why? Because I want to see fruit and it’s fruit – lives liberated and transformed – that actually glorifies the Lord.

When Paul and Barnabas had a disagreement in Acts 15, they didn’t try to kill each other. They simply parted ways. Both of them went on to preach the Gospel and they bore more fruit separately than they could have together.

God has a unique plan for you. Don’t compromise what God has told you to do because you want to partner with someone else. Pray for them and go about your business. If you try to plant your ‘maters in with my cucumbers, neither of us will have a harvest.

ENTER A NEW COVENANT WITH GOD

TODAY’S PROPHETIC THOUGHT

There is power in prophetic acts. I love it when you step out and declare My sovereignty in your life for all to see. Make a new covenant with Me this day. I will let My blessings flow over you and give you overcoming power.

NEW COVENANT

There is crazy power in baptism, but it’s not the power to save. You’ve already been saved, Amen? The power in baptism is this: baptism initiates supernatural victory to overcome things.

The reason baptism is so supernaturally powerful is because it’s a prophetic act of a supernatural covenant. The fact is, we serve a very supernatural-covenant God and baptism is our promise or pledge to all that we belong to Him.

Jesus demonstrated this when He went to the Jordan River to be baptized by His cousin, John the Baptist. John was not absolving the people there of their sins by dunking them under the water, he was helping them enter a new covenant with God for their identity, purpose, and destiny.

“I indeed baptized you with water, but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.” It came to pass in those days that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized by John in the Jordan. And immediately, coming up from the water, He saw the heavens parting and the Spirit descending upon Him like a dove. Then a voice came from heaven, “You are My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” – Mark 1:8-11

Boom! This was the moment Jesus truly stepped into His power and His ministry started. Baptism initiated a response from heaven and Jesus walked in the tremendous victory of signs, miracles, and wonders. He overcame objections. He overcame angry mobs. He overcame our doubt and fear. He overcame death and hell.

Are you an overcomer? Do you have that supernatural victory working in your life? Make a new covenant with God for this new season you’re going into. Demonstrate your intention through this prophetic act and see the power of God manifest in your life.

WHAT ARE YOU GIVING BIRTH TO?

TODAY’S PROPHETIC THOUGHT

I Am the creator of the universe. I heard you when you called out to Me and I have a marvelous plan for your life. Partner with the Holy Spirit and I will show you how you can make a difference for My Kingdom. Yes, you.

WHAT ARE YOU GIVING BIRTH TO?

You have a purpose. There are things God wants to happen and pieces of heaven God wants brought to this earth that only you can do. There are ministries, movements and moments that you are responsible for – just like you’re responsible for a child.

Whenever God gives you a baby – something you’re responsible for making sure happens – there’s a principle it follows and it’s in the very first book of the Bible.

“So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that moves, with which the waters abounded, according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.” – Genesis 1:21

The principle here is that when something is born, it’s born after its own kind. Cats cannot produce dogs and dogs can’t produce cats.

So, God Almighty set up this principle that anyone in the reproduction business can only reproduce after their own kind. You can tell when two things belong together because they can reproduce.

A good example is faith and works. Together, they give birth to ministries that produce more believers who produce more ministries, that produce what? More believers!

I’ve heard it said that people add but God multiplies. What is it God is trying to multiply through you? Maybe it’s love. Perhaps it’s a servant’s heart. Fact is, true belief gives birth to action. Do you believe God has given you a great big purpose? Go after it because I promise you, it’s good!
