DEALING WITH DRAMA?
I want dominion in every part of your life. When I rule and reign in your relationships, you will draw people to Me. When I rule and reign in your finances, ministry or job, you can sow into My Kingdom. My peace will be with you.
A GLIMPSE OF THE GLORY
I’m going out on a limb today because I’m just blown away with the majesty of God. The book of Ephesians says best what I want you to understand.
“I pray that you would know what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe…” – Ephesians 1:19
“I pray that you would know…” Know what? That you know through experience what you don’t know through wise words.
There’s something else the Bible talks about that is absolutely indescribable and it’s the majesty of God. Any time you look at the majesty of God, it’s how He rules and reigns, and He rules and reigns way different than anybody else.
He rules and reigns, not by being the toughest because it’s obvious He already is the toughest – not through being the most powerful because He already is the most powerful. He rules and reigns through peace.
Crazy! Absolutely crazy! While the Bible says our enemy, the devil, is the prince of the power of the air – he likes to stir up hell in the atmosphere – Jesus is just the opposite. He’s the Prince of Peace. Where He has dominion, there’s no drama!
Is there drama in your life? Are there places where it’s more like hell than heaven? You need to let Jesus rule and reign in that place. Tell Him, “King Jesus, I believe. I pray that I would know the exceeding greatness of your power.” He’ll show up, I promise you, He will give you a glimpse of the glory.

SAVED AND NEED FREEDOM?
I love prophetic acts. When you are unashamed to pursue My love and power in creative ways, I take notice. I celebrate. Bring a smile to My face and dive into the prophetic. It’s the deeper waters in which My Spirit can be found.
EACH AND EVERY TIME
So many people don’t understand this: You only need to get saved once. Once you’re in the Lamb’s Book of Life, you’re in. That ain’t baptism. I don’t care if you get baptized a hundred times. It’s up to you.
“Moreover, brethren, I do not want you to be unaware that all our fathers were under the cloud, all passed through the sea, all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea.” – 1 Corinthians 10:1-2
If you want to know what baptism is all about, this is what baptism is all about: You’ve been a slave and how you’re free. Yes, baptism is about you being a slave to something and God giving you the grace to walk away from that thing and into freedom.
The children of Israel were slaves and one day their deliverer showed up. Because they applied the blood of the Passover lamb they were saved. Remember this: the saving part happened at Passover.
They leave Egypt but when they get to the ocean, the same devils that owned them before chased them saying, “Who do you think you are? Where do you think you’re going? I own you.” It was then that the Red Sea parted and they went down into the water.
The evil dictator and the devils that had always owned them chased them into the water. The Israelites came up out of the water and the devil – the Egyptians – remained. That’s what baptism is all about. Amen.
What owns you? Addiction, anger, adultery? Are you plagued by fear, finances or failure? Take those devils in the water and come up free on the other side and know this: you can do this as many times as you like! The Bible doesn’t have a limit on the number of times you can declare freedom from what’s enslaving you.
God loves a prophetic act and that’s what baptism is – a prophetic act you can do as many times as you want and God smiles on that, He honors that. Saved and need freedom? Baptism is for you each and every time you need it.

DO YOU HEAR HIS VOICE?
I not only spoke the universe into existence, I sang it into being. You and your life were part of that melody. Listen closely. Do you hear My voice? Echo back My words of life so that others will hear and believe.
REDEMPTION SONG
There are eight verses in the Bible that specifically talk about having “a new song.” If it’s a big deal to God, we’d better make it a big deal in our lives and search out the matter.
A new song comes from a new experience in the power of the Holy Spirit. When you have an encounter with Jesus, that’s supposed to be the new dramatic theme to your life – not the fact that you were molested as a child, abandoned, or that you’ve been addicted most of your life.
Now, I’m not belittling that. Those are terrible things, but they should not be the theme of your life like a scratch on a record that keeps playing the same thing over and over again.
“O sing to the LORD a new song, for He has done wonderful things, His right hand and His holy arm have gained the victory for Him.” – Psalm 98:1
Each new song should be about a new victory – a new breakthrough. Your life should not be about how you were persecuted, have encountered racists, or that you’ve been poor. Your song should not be about that you went to prison or that you were divorced several times. That’s the song the world sings and it’s not for you.
The dramatic theme to your life is supposed to be about how you are redeemed. God gives you a new song – a redemption song that is all about victory and freedom from that thing that held you captive but no longer has a grip on you.
Sadly, so much of the Body of Christ is stuck like a scratched record repeating over and over again, “My past still defines me. My past still defines me.” It doesn’t have to. The music of your life needs to match the fact that you are redeemed.
Are you redeemed? Are you a new creature because of Jesus Christ? Sing a new song. Put away your history and let the song of your destiny define you.

WHAT ARE YOU SPEAKING?
You are here for such a time as this. I have put the best of every bloodline on the earth to usher in My glorious return. You are called to testify to love. You are called to be a witness to My goodness.
NO NEGATIVE NARRATIVE
This is a year of gold – golden opportunities and financial blessing. With this said, know this: The negative narrative does not work for you in 2019. Whatever you do, do not plug into the negative narrative.
Listen, you’re always going to have haters. You’re always going to have somebody saying something bad about you. That’s normal. It just is. If you have people who don’t like what you do or how you do it, say, “situation normal.”
What is also normal is for God Almighty to bless people who are bound and determined to continue with their Godly assignments in the midst of a hostile environment. Hallelujah. The prophets of the Old Testament were hated and persecuted because they relayed messages from God the people didn’t like. In these last days, people aren’t going to like us much.
You know, the reason why the Holy Spirit is called The Comforter? It’s because you’re going to need Him to be your Comforter if you’re going to stick with God during times of trouble – aka this day we’re living in. He doesn’t call Jack Daniels the Comforter. He calls the Holy Spirit The Comforter because His comfort is real.
As the days grow darker and darker, you need to have a different Spirit. You need to have something very, very different about you and that “different” is the Holy Spirit living in you.
Speak life and not death. The world needs life. Drop-dead sold-out Jesus freaks like you and I walk and talk differently. We have hope and there is no hope in a negative narrative.
Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. – Ephesians 4:29

SURVIVOR OR OVERCOMER?
Pursuit is a big deal in the Kingdom. Those who seek are rewarded with the ultimate gift – My presence. The way to the throne room is through the servant’s quarters. Seek to serve others. Seek to serve Me and you will find.
ADDED UNTO YOU
Do not approach God as though you are a survivor. Why? Because the survivor mentality is a poverty mentality and surviving kills seeking.
But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul. – Deuteronomy 4:29
Newsflash! There are over 100 verses in the Bible that tell you to seek God. Every one of them says if you seek, you will be rewarded. If you’re all about just surviving the moment, you’re not going to be about stepping out of your comfort zone.
A survivor’s mentality stops you in your tracks from seeking. That’s exactly what Jesus is addressing in Matthew 6.
“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? – Matthew 6:25-26
Survival mode is the kryptonite to seeking because it keeps you immobilized in fear and worry. Hear me on this: You are not a survivor! You are an overcomer. You are an overcomer because you are a seeker.
Pay attention to spiritual things. Pay attention to Kingdom things and be sure you have a great priority to see the Kingdom come in your life and the lives of those around you. You’ve gotta seek the Kingdom and God’s righteousness in order to be “added unto” or blessed, and that makes you an overcomer!

GUESS WHO PASSED THE TEST?
I could not stand the thought of eternity without you so I made a way for you to live with Me forever. Choose life. Choose Me and let My sacrifice be enough for you.
DON’T DIE TWICE
I’ve got some pretty sobering news for you: you only live once, but it’s possible to die twice.
This speaks of the second death for the people who are not found in the Book of Life. Let me tell you what this test is about. This test is about are you holy or are you not holy.
Every single one of us has sinned. Every single one of us have been major malfunctions and have fallen short of the glory of God. But I’ve got great news: Jesus Christ left heaven, became a man and He passed the test.
Jesus lived 33 years as a human being and, despite setting His deity aside and being 100 percent human, He never sinned. Then, are you ready for this? He offers His grade to us.
Did you hear that? Despite the mess you and I are, He offers His A+ of holiness to us.
There should only be one name written in the Lamb’s Book of Life and it should only be “Lamb.” It’s His book. The Bible says He’s the only One worthy to open it and His name is the only one worthy to be in it except for those who He has given His grade to.
Are you in His book? Are you holy because you’ve accepted the offer of His passing grade? Don’t die twice. Dying once is enough – especially when it leads to eternal life.
For God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten Son that whosever believes in Him shall have eternal life. – John 3:16

ARE YOU FREE FROM CAPTIVITY?
I Am Love. There is no love without free will. That’s why your freedom is so important to Me. Desire freedom and run from that which enslaves you into My loving arms. Freedom and love go hand-in-hand.
OUT OF CAPTIVITY
Baptism is a big deal, I promise you, it is. And just like everything else we do as Christians, we have a tendency to downplay things so we don’t seem too “churchy” or weird. Baptism shouldn’t be one of those things.
Baptism is not about when you go into the water. It’s about when you come out. Let’s unpack this.
Baptism is a picture of the Hebrew people leaving the bondage of Egypt. They were leaving behind that thing that owed them. God opened the Red Sea for them to walk across dry land to their Promised Land.
When Pharaoh’s armies chased them into the water, God said, “Nope. Not today you devil from hell. He made those waters close up and destroy the enemy while His people were safe on the other side – free from their captivity.
That’s what you’re doing in baptism. Leaving that thing that owns you behind. Debt, despair, depression, bad relationships, addiction, fear, an ungodly lifestyle – whatever you want to bury at the bottom of the sea.
Pray and think about what you’re going to leave in that water. Ask God how you can meet Him in that place and how the heavens can be opened unto you. Just like Jesus, ask how you can hear Him speak and how the Spirit of the Lord can descend on you like a dove as you come up out of the water.
And here’s one last thing to think about: not only did the Red Sea keep the Egyptians from going after God’s people, the Red Sea kept God’s people from going back into slavery. Sometimes, the devil you know looks better than the angel you don’t. Don’t run back to that mess!
Don’t make baptism nominal. Don’t make it about a ritual because it’s so much bigger than that. Baptism is about something Jesus Christ has offered you and you need to go all the way with it.
Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from your captivity… – Jeremiah 20:12-14

WHAT IS BLOOD OF JESUS SAYING?
I created you with an identity. When you said “yes” to the offer of My blood, your identity was unlocked. Listen to Me. I will tell you who you are and give you a purpose for My glory.
THE BLOOD SPEAKS
I’m absolutely amazed that one of the things you can do today is find your identity according to your flesh. You’ve seen the DNA kits and heritage services, right? If you haven’t, you’ve either been under a rock or too occupied with Game of Thrones to notice. They’re everywhere!
One of the things folks are figuring out is that we’re all a bunch of “Heinz 57” – 57 ingredients. It’s absolutely shocking to me how folks will change their life because they found out they’re 5 percent Romanian. “Pastor Troy, I’m eating goulash every day for the rest of my life. It’s my heritage!”
That’s how geared we are to be identified by our own flesh.
Your flesh has the blood of Abel in it and that brother was a murderer. However, your spirit has the blood of Jesus in it and the blood of Jesus is not only superior, it actually speaks to your identity, purpose and destiny.
…to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel. – Hebrews 12:23-24
It’s interesting to me that this passage speaks about the “firstborn registered in heaven.” That’s you and me once we get saved. We’re those “spirits of men made perfect” by Jesus the mediator’s blood. That’s because His shed blood is now our supernatural blood – our DNA if you will.
Now, I’m not against you finding out your ethnicity and celebrating it. But I want to tell you something: your identity in Christ is a supernatural identity and it doesn’t come from your forefathers. It comes from your heavenly Father. That’s what you’re supposed to live out.
What is the blood of Jesus speaking through you? This is a good day to celebrate your supernatural DNA!

TIRED OF BEING A SURVIVOR?
Seeking requires action. Sometimes, it requires stamina. I Am worth it and so are the gifts and upgrades I have for you. Seek Me no matter how long it takes and you will be found by Me.
THE KRYPTONITE OF SEEKING
Offense will destroy you. It will keep you rooted in one spot and once you’re not moving, you’re an easy target for the enemy. Listen to me on this. Offense will drain you of all desire for forward progression.
You have to get past the “I don’t wanna’s” of life. The “I don’t wanna’s” are apathy and apathy kills you. Apathy is the absence or suppression of passion. It’s the part of you that says, “I better not get too fired up about that because I might get disappointed.”
So your value for your comfort is greater than being passionate about Jesus. You have to change your values. Your balance is messed up and the Bible says that God doesn’t like false balance.
Dishonest scales are an abomination to the Lord, But a just weight is His delight. – Proverbs 11:1
A big part of dealing with your “I don’t wanna’s” is dealing with the part of you that simply wants to make it through the moment. That’s the survival mentality. That’s actually what Jesus is addressing when He’s talking to everybody in Matthew 6:25-34.
Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? – Matthew 6:30
God’s not saying to be irresponsible and just wait for your needs to magically show up on your doorstep. You still have to go to work. God is saying, “Do not approach me as though you are a survivor. The survivor mentality is a poverty mentality.” God doesn’t think like a poor man. Surviving is the kryptonite of seeking and seeking is necessary for finding.
Sick of apathy? Tired of being a survivor? Get up! Refuse to be offended and go after Jesus is a crazy cool way. You’ll never be disappointed.
