ATMOSPHERIC PRESSURE
Your heavenly Father loves the way you think about Him. While you may feel guilty for getting distracted or even falling short in your thought life, He is so proud every time your mind comes back to Him. Continue to repent.
ATMOSPHERIC PRESSURE
As the father of four and husband to Leanna, my top priority has always been to set the atmosphere in our home. Though the kids are all grown, it’s still a priority. Why?
Because, as saved people, our hearts, minds and homes are supposed to reflect Heaven – not hell. Unfortunately, too many of us have given those territories to the devil.
I recently saw an interview with a former satanist who is now a Christian. This brother was really high up in the church of Satan and was asked by an audience member if a demon could possess someone from just listening to music or going to a concert. I was not surprised when he answered yes.
He went on to say the devil, aka “the prince of the power of the air,” uses three portals to influence us: our eyes (what we see), our ears (what we listen to) and our mouth (what we talk about). These are the ways evil enters our lives.
If you are saved and sealed by the Holy Spirit, no demon can possess you. However, you and I let the devil speak into us through our eyes and ears every day. What television shows do you watch? What music do you listen to and what magazines or websites do you read? Are you letting your eyes lust or covet? What video games do you play?
We let him speak through us as well. Think about your conversations. Are they filled with gossip, slander or envy? Are you and your little group the only ones who are right? Are you using ugly words, sexual overtones or blasphemies?
Why do we open these doors? I think a major reason is pressure – pressure to fit in, not be a Jesus geek, have people like us, and maybe even pressure from our kids to “be cool.” Whatever it is, this kind of atmospheric pressure is bad news.
When the devil controls your atmosphere, you get the following:
The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. – Galatians 5:19-21
Kick the devil out of your house. Order him out in the name of Jesus and fill your life with the things God recommends for a right mind:
Finally brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is admirable –if anything is excellent or praiseworthy – think about such things . Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me – put it into practice. And the God of Peace will be with you. – Philippians 4:8-9
Repent! Turn around! You see, Jesus is the “Prince of Peace” for a reason – to come against the prince of the power of the air.
TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO KICK THE DEVIL OUT OF YOUR HEART, HOUSE AND MIND! TAKE BACK YOUR MOUTH, EYES AND EARS AND BE REWARDED WITH PEACE.

CHOOSE YOUR PARTNER
Today is a day of choices, choose life! Choosing life means choosing those things that will help you to move forward. If you aren’t moving forward, then you’re moving backward.
CHOOSE YOUR PARTNER
When the Lord tells us not to be unequally yoked, it’s not a polite suggestion. It’s a warning that what we’re partnering with is going to bring us dire consequences.
A yoke is something that drives you. It’s a passion. I am a very self-driven person and cannot tolerate people who have to be goaded into action. Why? I’m not going to force anyone to do anything and I refuse to micromanage them. I can’t stand people who are not self-motivated and hate anything in my life that shuts down my motivation.
I really have to guard my heart against those things. For example, as a grown man, I have to keep myself out of sexually charged environments. These situations often have very dire consequences and I don’t want to lose my testimony. When things heat up, I just yell. ‘Leanna!” and I run. I literally run away!
If you’re not going to keep yourself out of sexually charged environments, who is? If you’re not going to stand for righteousness, who will? If you’re not going to buy girls out of sexual slavery, or feed hungry and homeless or give homes to orphans, who is?
We’re to partner with things that move us forward, make us whole and turn our eyes and hearts toward Jesus. Anything less is an enemy waiting to devour us.
Remember, we’re supposed to be moving forward, constantly transforming and progressing into new and bigger Promised Lands. Being unequally yoked, sleeping with a Philistine – the enemy – or partnering with the wrong spirit will send us backward. We will be of alignment for our assignment and that means people we’re supposed to bring with us to heaven could get left behind.
“I will establish your borders … I will give into your hands the people who live in the land, and you will drive them out before you. Do not make a covenant with them or with their gods. Do not let them live in your land or they will cause you to sin against me because the worship of their gods will certainly be a snare to you.” – Exodus 23:31-32
TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO CHOOSE CAREFULLY THE ATTITUDES AND PEOPLE YOU PARTNER WITH. IF THEY’RE NOT PROPELLING YOU FORWARD, YOU NEED TO PROPEL THEM AWAY FROM YOU.

A VIEW FROM ABOVE
God is giving you revelation and knowledge. Stand firm on the Rock and see things from His perspective.
A VIEW FROM ABOVE
You may be aware of the time Jesus asked His disciples what the word on the street was about Him. Read it very carefully and see if God can show you something new – something you may have overlooked or not understood until now.
When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?” So they said, “Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” – Matthew 16:13-19
Many people have falsely speculated that Jesus is saying Peter is the rock that the church will be built upon. That is not the case. No, Peter had stepped on the rock that the church would be built on. The rock Jesus is talking about is revelation knowledge.
Read it again carefully. Jesus is saying that Peter’s ability to know something straight from the Father – to have a holy revelation – is the bedrock of the church. Jesus Christ is understood by revelation knowledge, and this spiritual download is essential to every human being who calls themselves a Christian.
Revelation knowledge is knowing or seeing something the way God knows or sees something. This is fundamental. It is the rock where the church starts or “the view from above.”
The next time your heart is overwhelmed and our mind is freaked out, the next time you are at the end of your rope, let God show you your situation the way He sees it. Consent to the leading of the Holy Spirit concerning your understanding of whatever is causing your anxiety.
Say, “Lord, lead me to the Rock that is higher than I.” In other words, “Show me how to see this the way you see it. Show me how to know my circumstances the way you know them.”
Submit your mind to the mind of Christ. When you get a real download of revelation knowledge and you see your situation the way God sees it, it is like climbing up to a higher place where things come into perspective and make sense.
From that perspective, you can loose yourself and bind the enemy. That’s a rock worth climbing!
TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO ASK THE FATHER FOR THE VIEW FROM ABOVE. CLIMB THE ROCK THAT IS HIGHER THAN YOU AND ASK FOR REVELATION TO LOOSE YOURSELF FROM CIRCUMSTANCES AND BIND THE ENEMY!

DESTINY FULFILLED
Are you interested in your upgrade? I hope so because every upgrade leads you closer and closer to your jaw-dropping purpose in life.

When you feel like you don’t have enough Jesus, you’re right. When you feel like there’s more, you’re right. These feelings mean you need to go after your upgrade and chase your destiny.

“I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. If you call upon me and come and pray to me, I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,’ declares the Lord, “and I will bring you back from captivity.” -Jeremiah 29:11-14

DEFINING GOD
I am coming to you in a new way. Look for Me. See Me behind the veil. As much as you desire My presence, I long to be with you even more!
DEFINING GOD
As modern people removed thousands of years from Biblical events, we read the Ten Commandments as a smart, succinct list of do’s and don’ts. Especially the second commandment.
You shall not make for yourself a carved image and likeness of anything that is in the heaven above, the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. – Exodus 20:4
What did God specifically say He doesn’t want us to do? He doesn’t want us to make carved images of Him. Understand the irony here.
Before He came to earth as a man, Jesus’ name in heaven was the Word. God brings a Word that is carved in stone, then says not to carve any images of Him in stone. What does that mean? It seems like a contradiction, but it’s not.
See, you can put His word in stone, but you cannot put His image in stone. You can clearly define what God has said, but you cannot clearly define how God is going to show up. WOW!
Yes, my friends, you can bank on what God says, but you can’t bank on what He looks like. God looks like goodness and concerning His Kingdom and of His peace, God says there will be no end. No end to the ways He can pop in and out of our lives.
When it comes to His word, it’s corporate – for everybody. When it comes to His face, how He shows up in your life that belongs to you and Him. It doesn’t belong to everyone else because it won’t make sense to them.
How Jesus shows up in my life is different from how He shows up in yours. To carve Him in stone is to define or limit Him. Believe me, I’m the last person who wants to limit Jesus working in my life.
How about you? Have you put a face on Him? Have you carved out an idol to worship instead of letting the God of the universe work however He wants in your life? Put down the chisel!
TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO PUT THE HAMMER AND CHISEL DOWN. LET GOD BE GOD. LET HIM SHOW UP IN YOUR LIFE HOWEVER HE WANTS TO AS LONG AS HE SHOWS UP!

WRITTEN IN STONE
I Am the chief cornerstone. I paid the price you could not pay. Crucified, I rose the third day. I conquered death and the grave. My Love for you made a way!
WRITTEN IN STONE
It’s amazing that God chose to communicate with His people through a written language, words – a book. Moses comes down from the mountain with the Ten Commandments – God’s Top Ten list for how to live right – carved in stone by the very finger of God Himself.
Do you understand what a big deal it is that this was written in stone – unchangeable, durable? God basically says, “OK, we’re going by the book – not by who the current leader is or how folks are feeling. We’re going to do this thing by the book.”
However, when Moses took those stone tablets down the mountain and found the people breaking every command and them some, he did something radical and prophetic. He threw the stones down and broke them.
Do you see it? The prophetic picture? The unchanging Word – Creator God Jesus – the rock of our salvation, would have to be broken for their lawlessness.
The rules were not enough to save mankind and God knew it. So why did He carve the stones if He knew Moses would be forced to smash them? Because He was speaking to the people. Just like we do today, they needed the picture.
They needed hope. Although there were only 10 rules, the people soon realized not one of them could keep them. But a redeemer was coming. The Word would come to earth where He would be called Jesus because He would save His people from their sins.
Jesus would redefine the rules. He said, “Let’s cut it down to these two things: be madly in love with God and love your neighbor as yourself. If you can just do that, you can fulfill all the laws of the prophets.”
Love. It’s that simple. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us to show us love through His sacrifice. That’s why we call it the Good News!
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God… the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. – John 1:1, 14
TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO UNDERSTAND YOU CAN’T GET TO HEAVEN BY FOLLOWING THE RULES OR CHECKING OFF THE BOXES. LOVE GOD. LOVE PEOPLE AND TELL JESUS YOU TRUST IN HIS SACRIFICE.

PARTIAL EYESIGHT
The Lord is working through you to become who He intends you to be. Cooperation is necessary to maintain a posture of integrity and move into your next upgrade.
PARTIAL EYESIGHT
When you are blessed by God and begins to prosper in business, ministry, relationships, school or whatever endeavor you choose to glorify Him through, you will have haters. People will be jealous and want what you have.
Know this: they have only partial eyesight. They can’t see that, for all your blessings, you’ve had to go through a lot of hell to get what you have. They see your glory, but they don’t see your story.
Here is a great rule of thumb when it comes to being suspicious or envious of those who seem to be better off or more blessed: If the grass looks greener on the other side of the fence, you can be sure their water bill is higher than yours.
This is true in the natural as well as the spiritual. There is no such thing as a great man or woman of God without great affliction.
Look in the Bible. You don’t find a single awesome person of God who didn’t have a major malfunction to deal with every day. When cursed people see blessed people, they don’t see the price they had to pay each and every day to maintain that blessing.
An overweight person might dislike someone who is fit and in shape, but they don’t consider the choices that skinny person makes every day to look like that. It’s really this simple! If you want what someone else has, be willing to pay the price they paid to get it. If not, change what you want to what you’re willing to pay for.
Want what God has for you. It’s better than what He has for me because it’s something uniquely tailored for your life. If your haters don’t understand this principle and they attack your character and calling, continue to be a purpose-driven person and know you’re in good company. The world hated Jesus and it hates us as Christians because we bear a family resemblance.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. – Matthew 5:16
TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO CALL YOURSELF BLESSED BECAUSE THE WORLD HATES YOUR SUCCESS. IT FIRST HATED JESUS AND HE CHANGED THE COURSE OF MANKIND. CONTINUE TO GO AFTER YOUR PURPOSE IN THE FACE OF PERSECUTION AND GLORIFY GOD.

LOYAL SUBJECT
Often, what we want isn’t necessarily what we need. There are seasons when we experience lack, and seasons of abundance, times to sow, and times to reap. In all of these give praise and honor the Lord. Live large through the Holy Spirit.
LOYAL SUBJECT
I love to love things. I try not to be over compulsive, but if I love something, I really love it. It becomes a loyalty issue.
Loyalty is big with me. I love allegiance, commitment, sold-out devotion and covenant. These qualities in people really get my attention.
I love the church, and when I say “church,” I mean the body of Christ – the people who faithfully love and serve Him and others. However, I hate me some religious folks – the junk they tend to operate in and pass along to others. I believe Jesus is totally anti-religion. He was 2,000 years ago and being the same yesterday, today and forever, He still is today.
Religious people like to show off their degree, spout off about their “calling,” talents, accomplishments and qualifications. I really don’t think Jesus gives a rip about those things.
What does He care about? Faithfulness and loyalty. He cares about covenant.
You see, Jesus qualifies those who are selflessly devoted. Servants who don’t fall out or lose focus. You can count on them and their heart for the Lord and His work.
On the other hand, I think He also gets tired of our excuses for dropping the ball or running off the reservation.
God loves to use people who are committed – even messed up people like you and me. Do you want God to use you for great things in the Kingdom? Your loyalty, love and willingness to go after His heart by serving qualify you for the job, so get going!
Like a bird that wanders from its nest is a man who wanders from his place. – Proverbs 27
TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO CHECK YOUR LEVEL OF COMMITMENT. DON’T LIKE WHAT YOU SEE? CHANGE IT, COMMIT TO BEING COMMITTED!

WILDERNESS LESSONS
You were designed to be with Me. I love it when you seek Me. Just like a good daddy playing hide-and-seek, I will let you find Me and laugh with you at your discovery.
WILDERNESS LESSONS
If you want to go to the Promised Land, there are some things you should have learned in the Wilderness. Lesson No. 1 is who God is to us and who we are to Him.
Here are some of the most important lessons you should have mastered.
You learn to be completely dependent upon His presence.
You learn to be completely dependent upon His Word.
You learn to stay close to His manifest presence.
You learn that whatever the problem is, God is not your problem.
You learn to worship Him no matter what the day brings.
You learn to look at God instead of your circumstances.
You learn to let His presence dictate the environment you live in.
You learn to be OK with inexplicable things and supernatural experiences.
You learn to value His voice and His manifest presence more than anything else.
You learn to stay separate, not to fall prey to the frenzy of the mobs of this world.
You learn to march to the beat of His drum and in His light.
You learn that God is really, really good and that it’s really, really good to know God.
Through these many lessons, you should have a personal experience with Him in the Wilderness. That personal experience becomes your testimony, and the Word says it’s your testimony that makes you an overcomer, so overcome!
They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death. – Revelation 12:11
TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO OVERCOME THE ENEMY. TESTIFY TO THE LESSONS LEARNED IN THE WILDERNESS – THAT GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!

PRESENCE AND PROVISION
Seek me. Follow me. While it’s easy to camp around a sermon or preacher, they only point to me. Experience My divine presence and majesty as you pitch your tent next to me. I will care for you.
PRESENCE AND PROVISION
Once they escaped their slave masters in Egypt, the children of Israel found themselves in uncharted territory – the wilderness. The wilderness was incredibly hard because they quickly found out freedom was not about doing things their way. Freedom is about letting God do things His way for and through you because His ways are higher. Ouch!
The wilderness is an ugly place where God shows up and amazing things can happen if you let them. It’s the place where God says, “Rest, relax and rely on me. I’ll show you I can be trusted.” How? By camping in His presence, the Hebrews would see Him at work day in and day out.
They learned to live with God in a cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night. Amazing!
While we no longer see that cloud or pillar of fire, God still wants you and I to camp out around His presence. He wants you hidden away from the mob and the influence of your Egypt. He says, “Don’t focus on the daily routine of the world – what you will eat or wear. Just focus on me. I’ll take care of those details while you get to know My heart.”
“And He said, ‘My presence will go with you and I will give you rest.” – Exodus 33:14
Pretty soon, you will feel more alive today than you did yesterday. Things that used to wear you out, don’t anymore. That’s what the presence of the Lord does for you. That’s why you don’t want to find yourself camping around a sermon or a preacher. The only place to camp out is in Jesus’ presence.
When you do, you’ll wake up to manna each morning. While the children of Israel found fresh food that tasted like biscuits and honey on the ground, you too will find provision in His presence. You’ll find joy through the song playing in your head, strength in the verse you read this morning and purpose in the testimony He is writing through you. That’s your manna.
Sound easy? It’s not. It’s incredibly hard not to grab the steering wheel several times each day and demand your way. Giving up control is never comfortable. It is, however, wise when it comes to your Deliverer. If you want your upgrade, if you want the next level, you need to surround yourself with Him. Talk to Him. Listen for Him. Seek Him and camp where He is. You’ll never be the same.
NEED PROVISION? TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO SET UP CAMP IN THE LORD’S PRESENCE AND STAY THERE. LET HIM MEET YOUR EVERY NEED.
