Every day an adventure... @Liz Flaherty

Shhh...I know this isn't my day anymore, but I wanted to share this anyway. I know every day isn't really an adventure, unless you're planning on eating my cooking, but it's so much fun when something new comes along.

I've written "Window Over the Sink" off and on for 30 years for different newspapers. Nowadays, I print the old ones (mostly) on my blog. Some Word Wranglers posts make it there, too, if I'm being particularly thoughty or...ahem...annoying.

So the Window's open in a new place thes...

Just in time for Valentine's Day, get my Valentine-themed novella CHILL OUT for 40% off the regular price! All the Candy Hearts Romances are on sale at The Wild Rose Press. Here's the blurb for CHILL OUT:

Envy and admiration work together.

I am so excited for Catherine Lanigan! Her book, Heart's Desire, is the first Harlequin Heartwarming novel to be made into a Hallmark movie. This is so lovely for her, for Harlequin, for the rest of the Heartwarming authors, for Catherine's readers, and for Hallmark. The movie will premier on March 17 at 9:00 PM. What a St. Paddy's day present!

Now, here's the rest of the story. My part. One I thought about a lot this morning while I was beating back some not-pretty feelings. Almost my fi...

Change Is In The Wind: WordWranglers New Schedule

Are you swinging by looking for Liz's regular Monday post? Don't worry, Liz hasn't forgotten you...neither have Nan, Kristina, Margie, Ava, or Jana...the thing is, change is blowing our way!

The WordWranglers blog was begun as a writing journey blog, with 5 or 6 unpublished (or recently published) authors telling you about our journeys. Over the course of time, many of us have become published authors, some of us left to do other things, new authors joined us.

Well, it's time for another change...

Audiobook Excitement by @JanaRichards_

One of my favorite ways to experience a book is through audiobooks. I love that I can be doing other things like working out at the gym, driving, or cleaning house, while “reading” a book. It makes it a little easier to get my reading in. I also love the theatrical nature of audiobooks; it feels like I’m “watching” a live play.

That’s why I’m so excited that another one of my books is going to be made into an audiobook! CHILL OUT is a Valentine’s story that was published just before Valentine’...

Ch-Ch-Changes

By Ava Cuvay

You likely know the common saying about how the only certain things in life are Death and Taxes. I’d like to respectfully disagree, or at least add to that small but mighty list: Change.
Change is a constant in our lives (is that irony or an oxymoron?), and I’m finally grown up enough to admit that I’m horrible at dealing with it. Even good change. As much as I’d like to think I can “roll with it” when plans change, it lends a lot of stress to my life. Maybe I’m a creature of habi...

Write and repeat..

Image result for white page writer by Margie Senechal

The dreaded white page. That's what is facing me this morning as I write this because I have no idea what to write. It's especially hard because last week I did a hodge-podge post and it seems redundant to write two in as many weeks. That said, I might not have a choice...

My aunt/cousin started her own blog this last week where she's sharing her mid-life journey to become a yoga instructor. https://sueferrera.com/2018/02/01/wei...

How is she my...

#WriteTip: Putting a Continuity Together ~ @AuthorKristina Knight

Almost a year ago, I was invited to start a new project, a romance continuity - you know, books with the same family and/or a continuing storyline but written by different authors. My friend Elley Arden wanted to set a family saga on real-life Anna Maria Island, Florida, and I was thrilled that she asked me to contribute! Little did we know the challenges that would come from our little idea.

You see, Elley lives in Pennsylvania, I'm in Ohio, and our third partner, Katie Kenyhercz, while...
