How Wednesday became Thursday
by Margie SenechalOr is it Thursday became Wednesday? Or how Wednesday bled into Thursday?
SO, yesterday as I was driving Jordie to the Humane Society where she volunteers as a dog walker, I was thinking about what I should blog about. I got to a red light with about a mile to go when it dawned on me that it was Wednesday. Whaaat?
Let's pretend today is Wednesday and I'm not a day late and always a dollar short.
I thought I'd do a quarter year check-in.

Don't Like the Weather? Just Wait a Second... ~ @AuthorKristina Knight
This spring has been a weird one. We have yet to make it more than a day or so at a steady temperature. Take yesterday. We were sitting at 35 most of the day, with rain. Last night the temperature suddenly shot up to about 50, still with rain, and then the wind started up so it sounded like a freight train was running through out house. Today, the winds are hanging on and now it's about 30 degrees again.I think Mother Nature might have lost her mind or something because spring is supposed to...

TRUTH AND SOLACE now available! @JanaRichards_
TRUTH AND SOLACE, book 3 in my Love at Solace Lake series, released this week. Maggie and Luke's story is the final installment in the series, and like the title says, the truth is revealed. But some of these truths are painful and threaten to rip apart the closeness the Lindquist sisters have painstakingly built. And the truth also threatens to tear Maggie and Luke apart. They'd been in love before but fell apart, too young to sustain a lasting relationship. But this time they have a real ch...

SECRETS AND SOLACE now available! @JanaRichards_
SECRETS AND SOLACE, book 2 in my Love at Solace Lake series, released this week and I couldn't be more excited. I'm really happy about how the book and the series turned out. I'm told Cameron and Scarlet's story is one that tugs at the heartstrings. I threw a lot of sticks and stones at them, and when they got up, I threw a few more. But they kept on going and totally earned their happily every after!
Here's the series blurb:
Love is worth the risk…
When their grandfather dies, the Lindquist sis...

Six weeks, take three @Liz Flaherty
I know it's seven weeks--pretend!I am so amazed at my own inabilities today. This is the third time I've started this blog post. It is, I have learned, harder to write one every six weeks than it is to come up with something every Monday morning. Maybe it's because if I blow a Monday morning post, I can make up for it the following week. If I blow this one, I can't make up for it until sometime in May...or so. So, on this third time, I'm just thinking about six weekses in my life.In elementar...

Release Day! by @JanaRichards_
LIES AND SOLACE releases today! It's been a long journey, but I'm finally bringing my baby into the world. Her two sisters are following in the next couple of weeks, but more on them in upcoming posts.
I honestly never thought I'd want to self-publish. Too much work, too much risk. I was worried about the upfront costs.
I'm still worried. But the idea of having complete control over at least some of my books was too tempting to pass up. I decided to go for it. I'm absolutely thrilled with the w...

Things are in Order

Happy March!!
Hope everyone is doing well. It’s seems like forever since I’ve blogged, and oddly enough I still have very little to talk about. Obviously a reflection on my mundane existence more than anything else, I’m sure.
So what’s going on with me? Well, I’m thiiiiiiis close to hitting the publish button on my children’s book. I recently spoke with an elementary librarian about getting it into their rotation and she asked if it was appropriate for kids. My first thought was oh...

Ch-ch-changes...
by Margie Senechal
Oops! I think today is my day and I totally forgot. Usually we get a reminder and mine must've gotten tossed into the junk drawer. Hmmm... (warning, things are about to get political)... [image error] Today I woke up to the news that Dick's Sporting Goods was enacting their own gun restrictions and removing automatic rifles from their store. I have to say, it kind of made my day. Clint Eastwood is cringing that I used his catch phrase in reference to gun restrictions :)I spend a lot o...
