Only In My Dreams

We're talking about favorite escapes at Word Wranglers this week. Anyone who knows me knows my favorite escape place. My dreams. Like Margie, I've had the big author moment daydreams, but my favorite dreams are the ones I have when I'm sleeping.

Of Legos and Daydreams

 This week, we've been talking about escaping. Like everyone else, I love the beach--although my beaches here on the Oregon or Washington coasts, are a little bit different from the sun-drenched sandy havens Liz described. A good day at the Oregon coast means it didn't rain. But, a bad day at the beach is still better than no day at the beach.

On Sunday of this week, we WordWranglers desperately brainstormed a topic for this week's posts. That brainstorming went something like this: "Topic?" "Unnnnnnn" "Hmmmmmmmm..." "I have nothing." And around and around in circles we went. How can we be out of topics so early this year?

I totally blame the winter and the flu viruses that are going around and the overwhelmingly busy holiday season we've just exited.

That's the topic of the week here on Wordwranglers.

It's been especially bitter this January. Temps hovering around the zero mark in the mornings. I just hate it. There's nothing good about wintertime in my opinion.

Going on vacation isn't an option. Too many animals, too little money. So, where do I go to escape?
