Where Everyone Knows Your Name

Now that we’re inside three weeks until my next release (this one, a Southern Sewing Circle Mystery–NEEDLE AND DREAD), I find myself revisiting the basics of that plot in my head. That may sound easy, but considering I’ve written another book since I finished that one, it can be a bit tricky.

But essentially, two of my characters (who, coincidentally, aren’t fans of one another) have decided to go into business together. For Leona, it’s a chance to save a little face with the rest of the wome...

The Truth (and Lie) Revealed…

I decided I’d make you wait on my truth/lie reveal until today.

I’m tricky like that…

My truth: I murdered 2 goldfish when I was three years old.

How, you ask?

I put salt in their tank.

In my defense, I’d seenmy mom “shake” food into their tank. And so, yeah,I did the same with the salt shaker.

Of course now,looking back, I have to wonder if I was doing a little pre-career research…

I’m working on a list of “truths” and “lies” for an upcoming April Fools Day Facebook event I’m doing with my fellow Whodunit Authors.

So I thought I’d try two out on you here. Your task is to figure out which is the truth and which is the lie.

Prompt time

A little late this morning (an effect, no doubt, of the current busyness I mentioned yesterday)…

I think I’ve mentioned before (and believe it was even second-ed by Chris) that September/October always ends up being the busiest time of the year.

Yet, out of nowhere, March/April (this year, anyway) has decided to challenge that title. Ay yi yi.

In My Head

I’m not sure how many of you are on Pinterest, but I thought you might like to see a board I’ve recently done that gives an idea of how I picture the town of Heavenly, PA (from my Amish Mysteries).
