Ahhhh or Owww
It’s hard to believe I’m coming up on ten full years of treating/eleven years since diagnosis of my MS.
Ten years of 3 shots a week. That’s more than 1500 needles, rotated between three sites (six if you count both sides). This is all leading up to one simple fact: I have a lot of scar tissue built up, especially in the backs of my upper arms. Soooo, I’m heading up to a friend’s house today–a friend who has recently gotten her massage license. I’m going to see if a little intensive massage...

A First That Doubles As a Twenty-Fifth
Out today is the 1st book in my Tobi Tobias Mystery series. This book also marks my 25th overall, so that’s kind of cool.
It’s the first time I’ve gone with a primarily e-line and I made that choice as a way to reach a group of people (the e-audience) I don’t have a big share with when it comes to my other books. The hope is that I’ll find new readers who will, in turn, find my other series.

Three Things
The expression “time flies when you’re having fun” is never more apropos than it is when it comes to spending quality time with your kids. Wow. It seems like it was just a minute ago that DD # 2 and I were putting our overnight bags into the trunk and heading out for our mini mom-and-me getaway to the city. Only now it’s already over and it’s back to business as usual with work for me, and school for her.

Weekend Plans
So developmental edits for one project showed up in my inbox last night, and I’m expecting copy edits on another to come in on Friday. Which means the little hiatus I’ve given myself the past 2 weeks is pretty much over.
Ugh.
But I’m going to do my best to squeeze out a few more days and then just hit it hard starting Monday. This coming weekend, DD # 2 and I are going to the city and I’m very excited about that.

Three Things
This is one of those times where I’m really glad I started this “three things” post on Mondays because it makes me think about what I did even when my instinct is to say “nothing.”

Although it was still work hours on Friday, I spent time on the phone with my agent talking about my career goals. Since I’m kind of a goal-writing/goal-reaching junkie, this was great fun for me. I’m really excited about what I have on the horizon, work-wise.
