Kickstarter Campaign: Surfs Like a Girl Film

The untold story of Bethany Hamilton and her relentless progression as one of the leading professional female surfers of our time.

Surfs Like A Girl is a two part project that will tell the story of Bethany Hamilton as never seen before in a full-length feature film. At this stage we plan to do a two-phase release. The high-performance sports section will release in Spring 2015 and then we will package it together with the documentary section that will be completed in Fall 2015.

Locations will include Hawaii, Tahiti, Maldives and Indonesia. Plus with your support we can add even more amazing surf destinations to the list!

On Saturday, July 19th, Cobian #EveryStepMatters contest winner Alyssa Cleland and Bethany shared an inspiring surf session together at Seaside Reef in San Diego, California. The morning began with the two sharing a few waves together, followed by açai bowls at Sambazon Cafe, and then autograph signing at Surf Ride surf shop for Bethany’s signature sandal series by Cobian.
