A Rainy Day Paranormal-Scope

They say that April showers bring May flowers. What about March showers?

I am not qualified to read either stars or planets. I am intimately linked to the paranormal in the world in many ways. So are you.

The paranormal-scope is for entertainment and is not meant to guide your life.

Aries:
Gremlins know when they need a spa day. Take one and relax. You may need a new hairdo. Do that too.

Taurus:
Mermaids dislike chaos. They avoid those that are negative or cause trouble. They don’t want to get caught in that whirlpool. Do the same.

Gemini:
Faeries love it when the stars favor going on adventures! They pack tiny bags with necessities and are ready to go. (It’s Faery dust.) Consider planning an adventure for yourself or with friends.

Cancer:
Werewolves plan some “me time” to recharge their batteries. It’s a good idea.

Leo:
Vampires treasure old friends and loves. Just because it’s Spring, there is no reason to toss out true treasures in your life.

Virgo:
Shapeshifters get antsy when change comes their way. Prepare for it with savings and networking. Don’t be blindsided.

Libra
Goblins enjoy meeting new people. Dress your best and be prepared for more friends in your life.

Scorpio:
Unicorns are goal planners. Jot down some things you want to accomplish and the steps you need to take to achieve them.

Sagittarius:
Sirens love a makeover. Look in the mirror and consider a change in your budget. Be sure you love it before you do it.

Capricorn:
Sprites like to do things fast. Take it easy. Change is coming your way, and you’ll need time to adjust.

Aquarius:
Pixies often are not careful of your budget. This week it is a priority!

Pisces:
Elves spend time in meditation and doing different exercises and dances. This may work for you too.

Life Tools: Do A Random Act of Kindness by Susan Hanniford Crowley

The Only Life Tool today is about opportunities to help others!

Whether it is Doing a Random Act of Kindness or Doing a Good Deed Daily, it boils down to helping out someone else. Doing it every day could be more difficult if you are a recluse, but we will have some suggestions for those folks too. I’m putting down simple ones.

The key here is not to take a tip or money for it in return and not to brag that you’ve done it. Consider your deed or kindness a gift of unconditional love to God or humanity or the cosmos. I respect whatever you worship.

Easy Deeds for Those who get out and about!

Holding a Door open for anotherIf a person has dropped things, helping them pick them up and return them. Donate to a charity you believe in even if it’s a small amountPlay with your petsOn the train, offer your seat to someone who needs itThank someone even if they are doing their job. Say I love you to someone you loveLeave a letter in a library bookVolunteer at a soup kitchenPaint a rock with a happy saying and leave it on a park bench.

I think you get the idea here.

Easy Deeds for Those who can’t get out and about!

Call a friend you haven’t talked to in a while.Smile and say hello to everyone you see. Write a thank you note to a care giver, mail person, or anyone you are likely to seeSincerely compliment a person Listen to what people say Forgive someone who has hurt you in the past. Don’t tell them. Just do it. Make a birthday or thank you card Review an author whose book made you happy or thrilled or was just funWrite a letter to a friendMake something to give away

Some of these ideas work for everyone. Just go with what presents itself as you stroll along in life or if nothing presents itself, choose from the 2nd set.

We are all on this planet together. Doing a kindness or good deed daily opens your heart, and you’ll see start to see others doing the same.

Remember this is a secret. Tell no one you’re doing it. Smile like Mona Lisa. (Giggles.)

A Leprechaun Paranormal-Scope

Now the leprechauns are around all the time, but people seem to notice them more on St. Patrick’s Day!

Aries:
Leprechaun shake off Winter and start to get involved in life again. Do the same.

Taurus:
A leprechaun’s view of Spring cleaning is to through out everything and start anew. You don’t have to be that drastic.

Gemini:
Leprechauns make easy friends and love social events. Start by socializing more.

Cancer:
Leprechauns love setting goals though they don’t accomplish many at all. I know you can do better.

Leo
When the summer warms the grass, leprechauns go on adventures to see what they can see. A small vacation might benefit you.

Virgo:
Leprechauns sometimes go for massive changes, like moving to a new place. Usually, it’s because they drank someone’s wine cellar dry. Take your budget into consideration when making big changes.

Libra
Leprechauns are very creative. They enjoy the arts and toasting to the artists. Toasting aside, check out the art forms and see what’s fun for you.

Scorpio:
Leprechauns are often jealous of others. Don’t be. Go forth and build on your own dreams.

Sagittarius:
Leprechauns are known to follow the music. Consider finding your own musical bliss.

Life Tools: When the Opportunity Comes to Fulfill Your Dream, Go for It by Susan Hanniford Crowley

The Only Life Tool today is about opportunities!

I wasn’t planning to go to the Cirque du Soleil Ovo performance but when the opportunity presented itself, I went. I hoped someday I would see them. The photo above came from my iPhone. Flash is not allowed.

The particular performance I saw was Ovo, which is a story in a world of bugs and an egg. There were so many different acts of gymnastics, juggling, trampoline, aerial skills, and singing and dancing, that I was astounded. Something was always happening in this world on the ground and in the air. It was funny and in the next scene elegant. It was exactly as amazing as I hoped it would be. It was magical!

Happy Mardi Gras Paranormal-Scope

Tomorrow is Fat Tuesday or Mardi Gras 2025 in New Orleans. It is the last day of parades by the krewes. Wednesday is Ash Wednesday. A Dancing Paranormal-Scope

If you are happy, dance! If you are sad, you have all the most reason to dance. Lifting your arms (and your feet if you can manage) releases that sadness to the winds.

Aries:
Gremlins do their own version of dance called stomping. When they get angry, it makes them feel better. It might be better to do it outside so your home doesn’t shake.

Taurus:
Mermaids do this elegant ballet through the depths. Occasionally a diver will see it and paint it when he or she gets home. Consider painting and letting your feelings out that way.

Gemini:
The Faery dance is quite unique. They float on the wind currents like leaves. When you rake up leaves or clean up anything, consider it a way of letting go.

Cancer:
Werewolves like folk circle dances. It reminds them of the moon. They howl a lot too. Singing and dancing or either can be fun. Try it.

Number One Life and Writing Tool: Make Duplicates!

Always make copies. Everyone should know by now that when you have a document you want to keep safe having it in the cloud isn’t always reliable. A world-famous company does a printout every day at 6 PM. I won’t give the name because I don’t want to give out any company’s industrial secrets and I’d rather not get sued. But they are being smart about it.

Right now, I am proofing the 2nd dragon book in the Lady Fallon’s Dragon’s series. It is a long and arduous process. I am double-checking names, order of events, descriptions, and where everyone is in the story. I have the book open in the Atticus program and in another window, I have Lady Fallon’s Dragons open.

Even during the process, I save each version with the date as part of the name.

I print it out. I save it to a flash drive. I save it on my computer. I send it to my editor (also so she knows where I am in the process). Then I save it to the cloud.

Number Two Life Tool: Make Duplicates and Date them!

It is tax season in the USA.

Before I go to my appointment with my accountant, I have to pull together all the receipts and statements and copy them. I keep the dated copies in a separate file. I make a checklist to make sure I have everything. In that way, I know what I’m looking for.

That’s where we’re at with preparing for taxes. Some accounting companies will send you a checklist. Always a wonderful help!
