Spanish Bone River

Today, I received the cover for the Spanish translation edition of Bone River, which is beautiful! The title translates to "The Soul's River." The German title translated to "River of Dreams," so it seems there's kind of a similar theme here.   Right now, it's scheduled for a December 2015 release, but that could change, so watch here for updates!  [image error]

Speaking and Interview

Tonight, I'll be reading and signing The Visitant at Third Place Books in Lake Forest Park, WA. The stage is set for 7 p.m. Hoping some of you can make it!   For those of you not close enough to attend, this may suffice: an interview I did with Suzanne Fox at Society Nineteen. Some great questions and conversation here, so I hope you enjoy!      [image error]

Odds and Ends

So, a few things: First off, next Wednesday (October 7), I will be a Third Place Books in Lake Forest Park, WA, reading from and signing The Visitant, so would love to see you there if you're in the area.   Secondly: I have just learned a disturbing piece of historical trivia, which I feel the need to share. When the poet Percy Shelley drowned, Lord Byron and some other people gathered on the beach to burn his remains. It disturbed Byron so much that he spent the next three hours swimming in the

Many thanks!

Thanks so much to everyone who came out to Liberty Bay Books last night to hear me wax poetic on The Visitant. It was much appreciated!   I signed many books, and they have autographed copies available, and will ship!   Here's a picture from the event, where I am looking appropriately pleased:     And here we have a picture of the flowers my publisher sent me on release day--love them! A wonderful, bright and sunny bouquet that is the perfect antidote to a foggy Venetian gloom!

Review of The Visitant

The Seattle Times had a nice review of The Visitant, this morning, calling it "haunting, atmospheric," and a "chilling mystery." If you want to read the whole review, it is here.   Two more days until the book hits the shelves, and, as a reminder, I will be at Liberty Bay Books in Poulsbo, WA that night (the 22nd) at 6:30 for a reading and autographing, and then again at Third Place Books in Lake Forest Park, WA on October 7th at 7:00 p.m.

Release Day for The Veil!

Today, The Veil (Fianna Trilogy Book 3) hits the shelves, and I could not be more excited. This is the conclusion to the Fianna Trilogy, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I loved writing it.   If you'd like autographed copies of The Veil, or any of my books, my official bookstore is Liberty Bay Books. They have pre-autographed copies, and will get me to personalize them as well. Even better: they ship.   So here's to Grace, Derry, Patrick and the entire Fianna cast--it's been a blast!
