Descending into the Dark
I've received the editorial letter on the new adult historical manuscript, as well as the second edit on the last book in the Fianna trilogy (The Veil), and so for the next few weeks, I will be huddling deep within my little editorial cave with only tea and my ravens to keep me company. I doubt I'll emerge much except to post news on the second Fianna book, The Web, which hits shelves this Tuesday (January 20, 2015)!!! Favorites of 2014
It looks like 2015 is setting up to be a pretty good year: the second book of my young adult Fianna Trilogy, The Web, hits the shelves on January 20th, and I will have some other good news to report as soon as it's official. But 2014 was pretty cool too--two books out (The Shadows and Inamorata), and a short story (The Elopement), and there were a lot of other things to like as well. Want a little insight into my head? Author Copies!
There is almost no day in the year I like better than the day my author copies arrive. I was lucky enough to get three (THREE!!) of those days this year, which I find both stunning and unbelieveable. It looks beautiful! And it looks great next to its sibling too! I am so pleased with the covers for these books--they really made Grace and her world come alive! Now ... nothing to do but wait until release day--January 20, 2015 is just around the corner.
