On Writing The Visitant

Today, I'm at Books a la Mode, talking about The Best Laid Plans--ha!--when it came to writing The Visitant. Also, they're giving away a copy of the book, so go, read, enter the contest!   Once again, I'm going to mention that tomorrow from 3-5 p.m. I will be at the Seattle7 Writers Holiday Bookfest, with 27 other authors, signing books and eating baked goods. It's supposed to be a gorgeous day, so come to the Phinney Ridge Community Center in Seattle and say hello, buy a book, eat a cookie.

New Fianna Stories!

Halloween comes from the Irish celebration of Samhain, which readers of The Fianna Trilogy know plays a crucial part in the trilogy. So in celebration, I've just published two of four short stories in my new series: Tales of the Fianna.   These stories can be read as companion pieces to The Fianna Trilogy, or on their own. I've retold some of the ancient legends about the Fianna, so the events take place long before those in The Shadows, The Web, and The Veil. The stories have been illustrated
