Gang Rape and Murder of 17-year-old Anine Booysen
The rape and gruesome mutilation of 17-year-old Anine Booysen has sparked a rare outburst of anger in a country that often appears numb to sexual violence. Zapiro's cartoon is a parody of the FNB advert broadcasted in January 2013. "HOW THE HELL CAN IT HELP YOU?"

There are also some rumours of complex political plotting between her and Helen Zille in some form political alliance or other. There are also rumours that she rejected joining the DA. Dirty Dancing featuring the Guptas and Helen Zille
Helen Zille are presently in a public spat with the Guptas. The Guptas are accusing Helen Zille for being double-faced. She is attacking the Guptas, while having received donations from them. In 2009/2010 the Democratic Alliance (DA) received donations worth R400 000 from an associate of the Gupta family and one of their companies. Zille insists there was nothing wrong with the donations, as there was no scandal involving the Guptas when the money was accepted. When she learnt where the donations came from she instructed the DA “to have nothing to do with the Gupta family or any of their companies”.
