I've written a short story about the trepidation involved in attending a high school reunion. In my story, the protagonist is out for revenge against her high school nemesis.

Triggering events are true, the revenge is fiction.

FATAL FUNDS

As an author, financial advocate and educator, and therapist, I've come across great books as I've conducted my own research.
For those of you who are investors, a great read is:
The Investor Protector by David P. Meyer, ESQ.

For those of you who are considering writing your first book, try reading this very informative book:
Plot vs. Character, by Jeff Gerke.

My own book, FATAL FUNDS, is written with individual investors in mind. Through storytelling, I explore and explain key investment terms, how to read through the fancy lingo, and red flags to avoid.

Genealogy Findings led to Historical Fiction novel based on my 2nd great aunt. In it, I honor Sister Hedwigis of the Sisters of Christian Charity, her niece, Sister Antonis, Sister Alfred Moes who was the visionary for the Mayo Clinic, and Sister Jeanne Marie Bonnett of St. Catherine's University in St. Paul, Minnesota. Sister Jeanne Marie was the first woman ever to obtain a Phd. at The Catholic University in Louvain, Belgium. She was a real powerhouse, just as her peers were who are mentioned in this inspiring book written for women of all ages.

My great uncle got himself in a good old-fashioned saloon shoot out. The other guy was faster on the draw and that spelled the end of my uncle's life. My uncle, James, considered a 'hard-knocker'; the shooter was never charged.
