Financial Word of The Day!: CRUMBLE
You Never want to allow this to happen to your portfolio.
Here's a few must-do's to prevent it:
1. Diversify
2. Keep expenses low
3. Live within your means and review your cash flow
4. Understand thoroughly your risk tolerance
5. Don't invest in anything you don't understand; or the financial statements are inaccessible.
In my novel, FATAL FUNDS, Elaina & her husband weren't paying attention, and Sandy, their financial planner 'distracted' them in order to deploy his Ponzi scheme.

Listen to Your Heart
Sad to read about catholic grade schools closing, including the one I attended. Good memories and even better Sisters. Our Lady of Victory in Minneapolis. I'll never forget Sister Mary Magdalen. She was a talented musician. I put one of my interactions with her in my novel, LISTEN TO YOUR HEART. The class pooled their allowances together & gave her a guitar for Christmas. After the holiday, she gave us a concert. Strong, beautiful, and a woman who stuck to her values.
Another school that closed is Guardian Angels in Chaska Minnesota. This school played a large role in my book, LISTEN TO YOUR HEART, about Rosa Kerker and her struggle to follow her passion. She was a very prayerful woman, a pianist, a teacher, and loved by everyone she met. My ancestors from Denmark brought gold to America and donated it to purchase church pews. My 2nd great uncle taught there. And the entire Kerker clan helped with fund raising.
