Hello readers, May is short story month. Short stories, generally defined as up to 7500 words, can be read in one sitting. The demand on the author of a short story is to efficiently include conflict, setting, character, plot and theme. What short stories have you read that are most memorable? I wrote: She Killed My Dog. Historical Fiction

Pictures bring my novel to life. Fiction because of a great deal of dialogue, but an absolutely true account of my 2nd great aunt who immigrated from Switzerland in 1866 and the exemplary life she led in America. Set in 1866-1940. A must read & heartwarming read for women of all ages who will feel motivated to listen to their own inner voice after reading this book. A great escape from the tumultuous times we're living in today.

Would like some input: I self-published in 6/2021, Listening to Her Own Voice. Great read, especially for young women who must learn to trust their inner voice.
Here's my question: I'm considering 2nd edition, with improvement to the front and back covers, plus addition of two historical photos for each of twenty chapters. Has anyone out there found success with 2nd editions?

Take a moment to remember the strong women in America who dedicated their lives for women's rights.
Women from all walks of life were engaged fighting for the right to vote. I salute them today. Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton. Check out ECS autobiography.

International Women's Day
A shout out to women worldwide who live true to their passions, fight for their beliefs, and listen to their own voice. I applaud you all for each and every success you've attained.
LISTENING TO HER OWN VOICE, my historical fiction book is about a young woman, Rosa, in 1880's, who had to figure out how to do just that. Not an easy journey for Rosa, or for any of us. Rosa's parents stood in her way, as well as a few of her siblings. She even made a deal with God, but that didn't go smoothly either. Rosa faced many lessons on her road to fulfillment.
