Paperback - Listening to Her Own Voice

Thanks Kim, for your 5-star review. Glad you enjoyed my book.
Rating:I thoroughly enjoyed reading about this time in US history. The Catholic nuns of all orders sacrificed so much after immigrating, they added so much to the education of children in Catholic schools. The authors chapter about how the Catholic school survive during the great depression was particularly interesting and informative. I love Rosa‘s character and was pulling for her page after page. A truly engaging read for any young woman who struggles to find her true passion, Catholic or not. I love Rosa’s compassion towards children, especially those who struggled with either disability or poverty. The authors information about several other nuns conveyed through dialogue, was particularly interesting; sister Jean Marie Barnett and sister Alford Mose (Mayo Clinic) I enjoyed the most. Kudos to the author and her debut novel and five stars for a delightful read.

Startling! But, yes, Layla killed Jenna's mini schnauzer back when they were in high school together. Based on a true story, Layla is alcoholic ... and mean (everything written about Layla is also true). Just prior to their thirty year high school class reunion, Jenna is doing well, but seethes with resentment toward her high school nemesis. Jenna plans to attend her reunion, on one condition. That Layla is not there; and she plans to go to great lengths to assure she will not have to look at Layla; ever again.

Marketing Inquiry to All

I've received an email from a company whose website is www.bookknocks.com. Has anyone used or heard of this organization. They commit to 200 tweets in 20 days; also will mass market on Instagram. $69 fee.

I also noticed many authors on goodreads announcing a give away. Does this mean that anyone who does this has paid the fee on Goodreads for an official book give away? Or can I just announce I want to give away my book?

Listening to Her Own Voice

Just self-published my first novel on Amazon, titled Listening to Her Own Voice. I loved writing and following the journey of Rosa, not knowing what will happen to her next, as she encounters one life obstacle after another. For example, what really happened to her sister, and could Rosa have influenced her to a different decision?
