A great educational tool as it is easy to read, and is memorable. Much better alternative to more typical textbook.
Key terms such as expense ratios, asset allocation, questions for financial planners and controversial issues of the day such as assets under management.
A must read that will leave you championing my protagonist through every turn of the page.
The concept of Fiduciary Duty, an obligation of financial planners, has become an evolving issue and a political football. Keep abreast of this issue. At the very least, pin your planner down on this question, and make sure s/he puts it in writing. THEN, continue to follow this controversial topic on my blog.

Happy New Year to All. A great first step, for me, to join this group. Hope it is okay to announce a great read, a heartwarming read, and a compelling story about Catholic immigrants to America in 1866 from Switzerland.

Chronicles the life of Rosa Kerker who struggles against hurdles as she pursues her life calling.
Rosa went on to live an exemplary life. My 2nd great aunt, my research led me to find four nuns in my ancestry. Book pays tribute to ALL nuns who immigrated to America and contributed selflessly to the education of young minds.
Historical fiction genre; however chronicles Rosa's life and her family with accuracy, pictures and newspaper articles.
