Autumn Edition 2024
Hello All! It has been a stressful and exciting time since I chatted with you last. As of tomorrow, the Ebook version of the Autumn Edition 2024 will be out in the world and the Paperback copy is already available for purchase. I had to raise the price of the Paperback by $1 because we hit a record 154 PAGES! That is almost 20 pages longer than our longest edition to date! That meant that there were more fees associated with printing and delivery so the price had to be increased. I still sent all of our Yearly Paperback Subscribers their copies at a loss, but in the future, I will be increasing the price of this subscription to reflect the costs associated with the magazine going forward. That housekeeping aside, 154 PAGES! How exciting! No wonder this particular magazine was taking me longer than usual to lay out! I also wanted to give a quick "Thank You" to our advertisers. Your contribution has made this magazine a success.

The most recent two videos and future videos will be of me reading the reviews from the magazine (mispronunciations and all) in an uncut, one-take format. Autumn 2024 Cover Reveal!
Hello All! Sorry for missing you last week. Preparing for the school year as a librarian is pretty intense and took up all of my time (249 letter-sized pages of curriculum completed and 230 Google slide presentations to go with them. I might be a bit proud that I got this done...). As an apology for missing you, I am sharing our Autumn Edition 2024 cover 3 DAYS EARLY! (See the cover on our website) I hope you like it! After having gentlemen on the last two covers, I decided a super mom might be a good addition to this year's covers. How could I resist such a fun image when I have two boys and a girl of my own who DEFINITELY gave me this much trouble when they were small? Nope, the pull was too strong. Cheers to all the super moms out there who are juggling everything their family needs as well as finding time to read! (CLEAN fiction of course! Tee hee!)

Last Call for Contests!
Hello All! This week marks the "Last Call" for anyone who would like to participate in one of our contests for the Autumn Edition 2024. Cover Art Contest Submissions end July 27th and Writing Contest Submissions end July 31st. As of right now, we have the most submissions EVER for our Cover Art Contest and we would love to have more sponsors to feature on the voting page. Because of the number of submissions, we are extending the sponsorship number to 5. We currently only have one sponsor and one other business that has shown interest. For the low sponsor fee, your advertisement will appear on the voting page of our website that receives hundreds of visits during the two-week voting period, it will appear as a print advertisement, and it will be mentioned on social media. It is by far our best cost-to-service bargain. As for covers, we still have room so feel free to submit your cover at the link below. This is the best FREE way to advertise your book to our readers. Also, please do not forget to submit your Micro-stories BEFORE midnight EDT on July 31st. I would feel really badly if I missed out on a good story because you were in a different time zone. Hello All! I hope all of you had a great week last week. As for me, it was a wild ride. For those of you who live outside of the United States, it might sound crazy how much goes into celebrating Independence Day, but despite our propensity for unnecessary explosions, I promise most of us are rather normal people. I am proud to say that my IT engineer husband even traded his usual hat for a chance to shoot 3 professional fireworks shows (including one of the biggest ones in our area) and one show for our family friends. This was his first year of shooting professionally and though he was rather sore when it was all over, he had a great time. Do you have something like that in your life? FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can a cover DESIGNER participate? Of course. Can an author participate even if they did not design their cover? Yep. Is there a limit on the number of covers that I submit? Please, only send one cover per author/design company. Can you submit a cover that has participated in a previous Cover Art Contest? We ask that you only submit a cover once to one of our contests. What about AI art? As long as a human had a hand in creating part of the cover, it is fine to submit it. Does it matter what genre the book is? No, but keep it clean!

WINDOWS INTO THE MULTIVERSE WRITING CONTEST AUTUMN 2024
The photo above is what I prefer to call a “Window”. In a way paintings, photos, and other visual arts are “Windows” into another space. Whether it is in the artist’s mind or a recreation of an actual place, these “Windows” allow us to pause for a moment and see someone else’s view. Why the “Multiverse” then? Many authors use paintings, photos, and other visual arts in order to inspire them to create whole new universes and times for us to enjoy. Where does this tunnel go? Is it a portal into another world or an opening to a primitive society? The destination is up to you!
This popular contest is a of staple our magazine and will continue to accept submissions quarterly in the months of January, April, July, and September.

For the September 20th Autumn Edition, we will be holding another Cover Art Contest for everyone to enjoy. We will also continue to hold our Cover Art Contest quarterly.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can a cover DESIGNER participate? Of course. Can an author participate even if they did not design their cover? Yep. Is there a limit on the number of covers that I submit? Please, only send one cover per author/design company. Can you submit a cover that has participated in a previous Cover Art Contest? We ask that you only submit a cover once to one of our contests. What about AI art? As long as a human had a hand in creating part of the cover, it is fine to submit it. Does it matter what genre the book is? No, but keep it clean!
SUBMISSIONS & VOTING
Submissions will begin July 15 and go through July 27. (Submissions are completely FREE). Submit your cover at the link below. Voting will begin July 29 and go through August 10. (Voting is also FREE). The winner will be announced August 15 in our Newsletter. See our website for the small print. The winner will receive a $20 Amazon Gift Card and the other covers will be included in the magazine along with their submission information. The winner will also receive a certificate with a special 3D printed medallion (only within the US).
HOW DO I BECOME A CONTEST SPONSOR?
We need sponsors! Sponsor this contest for only $25! There is a limit of 2 sponsors per contest at this time. With a sponsorship, you will receive: a website banner, mentions on social media, and your banner will be printed along with the contest in the upcoming edition.
