Daily Meditations of a Nurse Warrior
How wise are you?
Knowledge is great to have, but without wisdom it is useless. For with wisdom comes understanding (see Proverbs 4:5). If not, then, "deep darkness" will set in and cause you to "stumble" (4:19). So, instead of continuing to make misstep after misstep, might you seek the wisdom that you need to complement your knowledge in order to keep from falling in to "the way of the wicked" (4:19). #WalkWithTheWise & #WalkAwayFromTheWicked❤️

What kind of life do you choose to have?
Life will try to steal your joy; and the only person that can allow or prevent it is you. Helping you to see this is the Lord when he spoke through Moses to the Israelites’ as He told them that they could choose “life” or “death” (Deuteronomy 30:19). If they chose to live well, “God [would work] for the good of those who love him” (Romans 8:28). If not, they would reap “death and destruction” (Deuteronomy 30:15). Might you, like He wants you to, “choose life” (30:19). #AJoyfulLife❤️

What influences you to do what you do?
Much can influence your life. For Timothy, it was his mother and grandmother that influenced his faith (see 2 Timothy 1:5). Because of them, he carried on his faith, by mentoring, Paul, (see Acts 16:1-3), who also labored and strived for the Lord (see 1 Timothy 4:6-16). So, whatever influences you, might it be one that provides hope and help to others, like Timothy, just as He is the "hope" and "Savior of all people" (4:10). #BeAnInfluencer & #MakeADifference❤️

How hopeful, confident and ready are you?
Death comes to us all; and how we each view and handle this inevitability is through belief and hope in Him. For those who are hopeful, they are believers that "desire to depart and be with Christ...but [know that] it is more necessary...that [they] remain" (Philippians 1:23-24), until He calls them home. And, those "who have no hope" (1 Thessalonians 4:13) either do not believe or know Him at all. So, if you want to know where you are going, some day, might you consider seeking Him to help you gain the confidence and hope that you need to know where you are going and look forward to when that day comes. #Confident #Prepared & #Ready❤️

What kind of faith do you have?
Struggle is inevitable when it comes to finding out who you are, what you want and where you are going; and, in order to help you through the struggle, you are encouraged to have a faith that is profound and true. When you do, you know and believe "that Jesus is the Christ is born of God" (1 John 5:1); and, in turn, will allow you to "overcome the world" (5:4). So, if you are willing to take a leap of faith with The One who has given you life, because of His sacrifice, and hopefully, some day, eternal life (see 5:11-12), might you get to know Him better so that He can help you find yourself and your path. #AFaithfulBeliever❤️

How clearly do you see?
You can have perfect vision and still not see what is right in front of you. But, if you truly want to see things clearly, you might consider seeking someone that can help you to do so. When you seek The Word, you see Him, the "image of the invisible God" (Colossians 1:15), thereby giving you the sight that you need. And, with time, as you continue to go to and grow in His Word, your vision will become clearer than ever before. #FullView & #ClarityInAllThings❤️

How is your masterpiece coming along?
You are one of God's creations, a work of art, with the makings of a real masterpiece. But, in order to turn yours in to a masterpiece, it is only He who can help you "to reveal it" (Ephesians 2:4). Fortunately, for you, He is rich in mercy" and has "made [you] alive" (2:5) to be able to do so; and when you allow Him to "[work] in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose" (Philippians 2:13), then your canvas has the makings of a masterpiece. Might you consider becoming His "handiwork" (Ephesians 2:10) and allow Him to "reveal it" (2:4). #ATrueWorkOfArt❤️

How wise are you?
To be able to create something takes time, preparation and insight. For God to be able to create the world, in six days, was because of "his wisdom" (Jeremiah 10:12); and at the end of each day, He believed it to be "good" (Genesis 1: 4, 10, 12, 18, 21, 25, 31). So, as you take notice of the light; sky; dry land, plants and trees; sun, moon and stars; animals on land and in water; and yourself and other humans; might you consider giving thanks to Him for being one of those wise decisions that he made and appreciate the rest and use them for what He intended, "good". #TakeNotes & #Learn

Where do you fit in?
Each person has their place in this world, as no one is left out. For Rahab, of all things, it was being a spy for the Lord (see Joshua 2:4), as she was a Canaanite, woman and a prostitute. Despite everything she had against her, she believed in the Lord, knowing that He "is God in heaven above and on the earth below" (2:11). So, might you, too, like Rahab, consider trusting in someone that can help you find out where you belong. #NeverRuleOutAnything

How generous are you?
Generosity is to give freely and abundantly to others; but is often associated with strings attached. For those who give, for the right reasons, "[give] freely"...and "[gain] even more" (Proverbs 11:24), as opposed to expecting something in return. So, when you consider your generous intentions, may they be ones that refresh others. For when they are, you, too, will be refreshed and blessed (see 11:25). #GiveFromTheHeart & #Prosper
