Who always has your back?
Trusting someone is like having a built in security blanket. Having one was David, as he was able to rely on the Lord for everything. Whenever David needed protection, God gave it to him, as He was able to "turn back" David's enemies and cause them to "stumble and perish" (Psalm 9:3-6). So, if you are struggling to find such a security blanket, like David's, might you consider getting to "know [his] name", for if you do, you will have that same built in trust as well (Psalm 9:10). #AlwaysFaithful & #ForeverTrustworthy

What is your value?
Anymore, a monetary value is placed on everything, even people. "Chosen by God and precious to him" (1 Peter 2:4) and considered more precious than "silver or gold" (1:18-19), yet "deemed worthless", by officials and leaders, because he did not fulfill their desires or expectations, was Jesus. Regardless of how He was treated, he still invites everyone to become part of his family (1:10). For if you want real value in your life, might you consider trusting "a chosen and precious cornerstone" that will never tear you down or shame you (see 2:6), but only see you for your true worth and lift you up. #Priceless

How do you lead?
Many lead, but can't. Such was the leadership of King Jehoram who "did evil in the eyes of the LORD" (2 Chronicles 21:6), as he put "all his brothers to the sword along with some of the officials of Israel" (21:4). As a result, "his people made no funeral fire in his honor, as they had for his predecessors" (21:19). So, as you consider leading others, might you do so with "grace and truth" (John 1:14), just like the Lord, and flourish. #TakeHisLead & #LeadWell

What do you do with your ashes?
The world is scattered with ashes; but even in the ashes, there is still hope to be found. For within the ashes, He can take circumstances and "[binds] up the brokenhearted...to comfort all who mourn" (Isaiah 61:1-2) and "[bestows] on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes" (61:3). So, whatever ashes exists, might you consider letting Him anoint you (see 61:1) and let him "rebuild the..ruins and restore the places long devastated" (61:4). #BuryTheRuinsAndRemains & #Rebuild❤️

How exclusive or welcoming are you?
No one should be made to feel inferior or less than. For each of us have been brought in to this world, just like Christ was, and with a purpose. In his short time on earth, and despite how he was treated, he remained true to who he was, and still believed that "there is no difference between Jew and Gentile-the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him" (Romans 10:12). So, as you go through life, might you consider the company that you keep and the people you meet, while remembering the kind of person God is and how he treats everyone. #NeverExclusive & #AlwaysWelcoming

How easy is it for you to lose heart?
It can be so easy to get discouraged and "lose heart". Close to doing so was Paul, as he was flogged, imprisoned, stoned, shipwrecked, in constant danger and faced starvation (see 2 Corinthians 11:23-29). Through it all, Paul saw the bigger picture, eternal life (see 4:17-18). So, whatever is weighing you down or wearing you out, might you consider remembering what Paul endured and still did "not lose heart" (4:16). For when you believe, He will continually and inwardly renew you day by day (see 4:16). #StayTheCourse & #KeepRunningYourRace

What keeps you from surrendering or causes you to surrender?
Life will cause you to struggle, as I have mentioned before; and when you do you find yourself needing help to overcome it. Unfortunately, there will be those who won't; but if you do, you are invited to "commit your way to the LORD" (Psalm 37:5); "trust in [Him] and do good", "take delight in [Him]" (37:3-4) and when you do, "he will do this" (37:5). Might you consider surrendering yourself to Him. #AlwaysTrustworthy & #Reliable

How prudent or simple are you?
More than not chose to ignore or not respond to the warning signs, even when they are right in front of them. Those that do so are considered simpletons, as they “[go] blindly on [toward danger] and [suffer] the consequences” (Proverbs 27:12 NLT). Where as, “a prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions” (27:12). So, when the warning signs appear, might you consider heeding them. #SeeTheSigns & #AvertDangerAndDisaster❤️

How well lit is your life?
Living in darkness makes it very difficult to live and navigate through life. Unlike living in the light, which offers "the true light" (John 1:19), one that "the darkness has not overcome" (1:5). His light allows you to see everything clearly. So, if you are in living in the dark and want out of it, might you seek "the light of the world. [For] whoever follows [him] will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life" (8:12) wherever you go and whatever you do. #LightItUp❤️

What do you appreciate?
Beauty is everywhere, even among the thorns. Entrenched in a garden "made [with] all kinds of trees [that grew] out of the ground-trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food" (Genesis 2:9), was Adam and Eve, until they went against God's wishes. For doing so, they were banned from the Garden of Eden and forced to tend to their own garden in which the ground was "cursed" (3:17) and filled with "thorns and thistles" (3:18), thereby causing "painful toil" (3:17). So, when you see the colorful trees, blooming flowers or flowing waters, might you remember to appreciate the beauty that has been created for you to enjoy and take care of. #AlwaysAppreciative & #TakeNothingForGranted
