What prejudices do you have?
Too often, much prejudice is placed on people and places without even knowing them. Nathaniel made that same mistake about Nazareth by posing the question: "Can anything good come from there?" (John 1:46). Once he discovered who was there, Jesus, "the son of God" (1:49), his bias changed, as he became one of Jesus' disciples. So, instead of making assumptions and developing biases, might you hold off before you know. #FindOutFirst

What are you willing to sacrifice or do for love?
Love is sacrifice; and sacrifice is love. Knowing this all too well is the Lord, as He gave, through birth and death, His only son for all. So, as you consider your gift list, might you, "offer your [body] as a living sacrifice", especially, "in view of God's mercy" (see Romans 12:1). For there is no greater gift to give to Him and others. #BestGiftEver

When you give, why do you give?
Giving is more than just giving, even in this season; as it is a pure and genuine intention, with generous action, and no expectation. Such is that of Saint Nick, but even more so our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. For The Lord's gift to us is "sav[ing] his people from their sins" (Matthew 1:21). So, as you consider your reasons for giving, might you remember why this season is celebrated and the gift(s) that you have been given because of such generosity. #Behold...#GoodTidingsOfGreatJoy...#ToAllPeople...

How committed are you?
Showing up, day in and day out, and being present, requires commitment; and when Joshua was asked to lead and expand his territory (see Joshua 1:1-4), the Lord gave his full commitment to him by saying: "as I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you” (v. 5). So, if you struggle with commitment, might you consider seeking His presence, because when you do He "will be with you wherever you go" (v. 9). #CommittedForLife

How can you live amongst and overcome the darkness?
Even as you travel "through the valley of the shadow of death" (Psalm 23:4 NKJV), there is still light. For when you believe, there is no darkness at all" (1 John 1:5), and you "will never walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life" (John 8:12). "Blessed are those who...walk in the light of [His] presence" (Psalm 89:15). #LightUpYourPath

How do you handle the truth?
Denying the truth only prolongs the inevitable. King Zedekiah denied Jeremiah when Jeremiah told the King to "obey the LORD by doing what [he tells him]" (Jeremiah 38:20). For refusing to hear and heed the truth, the Babylonians captured him, killed his children and destroyed Judah (see Ch. 39). So, the next time someone is trying to be truthful with you, might you listen, even as difficult as it can be. For when you know the truth, you know Him, "the way and the truth and the life" (John 14:6); and when you obey Him, "your life will be spared" (38:20). #ReceiveIt & #RespondWell

What can a kind culture cultivate and create?
Necessary to any culture is kindness; and when you invest in others and "build [them] up according to their needs" (Ephesians 4:29) the whole body begins to "grow and build itself up in love, as each part does its work" (4:16). So, if you want to be part of a happy, healthy and thriving culture, might you consider adding kindness to the list. #KindnessMatters #KeyToSucess

Whom do you welcome and/or include?
Many are not welcomed or included. Regardless of reason or circumstance, the Lord never discriminates against anyone, and welcomes, as well as includes, all people, "no matter who [they] are" (Matthew 3:22 NLT). So, if you get the chance, might you, too, be that person who always welcomes and includes those that cross your path. #AlwaysHospitable

"Some trust in chariots and some in horses" (Psalm 20:7), only to be let down and disappointed. For it is those who "trust in the name of the LORD our God" (20:7) that will never have to worry, because He stands by his every word and promise. So, unless you know of someone that can deliver what He says and does, might you, too, consider placing your trust in Him. #AnUnbreakableTrust

What sounds can you hear?
Life can get really loud, but even so, you can still hear a whisper. Job did, a faint one (see Job 26:14), His, even while experiencing multiple disasters (see 1:13-19, 2:7). You may not see Him, but you can definitely hear Him. For the Lord is everywhere and can do all things (see 26:7-11). So, when life gets too noisy, might you remember that He may be whispering in your ear to help calm it down. #HearHisWhispers
