How do you handle the truth?
Denying the truth only prolongs the inevitable. King Zedekiah denied Jeremiah when Jeremiah told the King to "obey the LORD by doing what [he tells him]" (Jeremiah 38:20). For refusing to hear and heed the truth, the Babylonians captured him, killed his children and destroyed Judah (see Ch. 39). So, the next time someone is trying to be truthful with you, might you listen, even as difficult as it can be. For when you know the truth, you know Him, "the way and the truth and the life" (John 14:6); and when you obey Him, "your life will be spared" (38:20). #ReceiveIt & #RespondWell
