How well do you discern voices?
Your ears are exposed to many voices, and the majority of them being filled with white noise. Although, there are a few that set themselves apart, ones that are meaningful and impactful. Such was the voice of the Shepherd, as "his sheep [followed] him because they [knew] his voice" (John 10:4). So, may the voices that you listen to be ones that call you by name and lead you out (see 10:3). #NoteworthyVoices

How do you handle the snakes?
Snakes are everywhere, as they slither and climb their way in to peoples lives through their deceptive words and actions. Knowing this was Eve, as an "ancient serpent" (Revelation 20:2) told her that she "[would] not certainly die" and "when [she ate] from it [her] eyes [would] be opened, and [she would] be like God, knowing good and evil" (Genesis 3:4-5). Because of the serpents deception, both Adam and Eve were banned from the garden of Eden. So, if you need help warding off the "ancient serpent", might you consider asking help from someone who continually works to "destroy the devil's work" (1 John 3:8). #DontGetBitten

How quick are you to quit?
Nothing worth doing comes easy. It is when you persist and "not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time [you] will reap a harvest if [you] do not give up" (Galatians 6:9). So, "as [you] have opportunity," might you "do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers" (6:10). #PutInTheWork #PersistencePaysOff

How well do you know your Father?
Many grow up in a fatherless home; but even so, no one is ever fatherless. For God is Father to all, because of His "great love" for every one of His children (1 John 3:1). So, if you want your Father to lavish you with His love, might you reach out to Him and get to know Him, because He wants to get to know you too. #AFathersLove

What do you do when you get stuck?
Life and circumstance can, from time to time, cause you to come to a halt or a standstill; and instead of becoming frustrated and impatient, you are encouraged to "wait patiently" (Psalm 40:1). For when you do, He will lift you "out of the slimy pit" or "out of the mud and mire" and "set [your] feet on a rock and [give you] a firm place to stand" (40:2), just like He did for David. So, if you are willing to "wait patiently", He will rescue you from either the "slimy pit", "mud" or "mire" and give you "a firm place to stand". #WorthTheWait

How bright are you?
Each person reflects a certain brightness, as there are those who are not so bright and others who shine wherever they go. Those that shine are "[lights] of the world" (Matthew 5:14), because they spread God's goodness, truth and love, wherever they go. So, if your light is not as bright as you would like it to be, might you consider asking Him to help you so that you, too, can "let your light shine before others, [so] that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven" (5:16). #Radiate & #ReflectHisLight

People worship many things, and He is not necessarily one of them. Instead of worshipping The One "who made the world and everything in it" (Acts 17:24), many worship other gods aka money, vanity and power. Noting similar worship, was Paul, as he saw how the "People of Athens" "in every way" were "very religious" (17:22), yet they worshipped altars of gods and goddesses. So, as you consider what you worship, might you look to worshipping something that is real and lasting. #Respect & #RevereHim

What crowd do you follow?
Many crowds exist, and each one comes with a price. Forthcoming about His costs was Jesus, as large crowds followed Him (see Luke 14:25). As crowds travelled with Him, He said to them that if you "do not give up everything you have [you] cannot be my disciples" (14:33). So, no matter who you follow, there will always be a price associated with the company that you keep; but with Jesus, your cost becomes an investment that will never lose its value, as it will only increase. Might you consider following Him and His crowd. #JesusIncorporated #AWiseInvestment

How well cared for are you?
Unfortunate but true, the world does not care about you; but someone else does. That someone who cares about you aka His children (see Psalm 91:4) is God. Longing for some attention and relief was David, as he called out to God "from the ends of the earth" begging Him to "lead [him] to the rock that is higher than [he]" (91:2). For God answering him, David was forever grateful "ever [singing] in praise of God's name" (91:8). So, if you, too, need or want what David received, might you consider" [dwelling] in [His] tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of [his] wings" (61:4). #HeNeverStops

When a mistake is made, judgment comes very quickly, even when circumstances or situations are unknown . Helping you to hesitate or avoid passing judgment comes from the Lord. You are encouraged to be like the Lord, "compassionate and gracious", "slow to anger" and "abounding in love and faithfulness" (Exodus 34:6). So, the next time something is said, texted or tweeted, might you remember His Words. #PauseBeforeYouPost &/Or #NoJudgment
