How do you behave when you struggle and suffer?
Much can be learned about a person, yourself included, when life is not going your or their way. The authentic person appears when struggle, strain, and pain take hold. Knowing this all too well was Jesus as his disciples turned on him by leaving, fleeing (see Matthew 26:56) and denying him (see John 18:15-17, 25-27) when He was arrested and then later crucified. So, when the inevitable struggles and hurt happen, might you remain true to who you are, and consider taking heart and home with Him so that He can "turn" your sorrows in "to joy” (John 16:20) that “no one [can or] will take away” (John 16:22). #TrueCharacterRevealed

All seems hopeless when hardship strikes. Yet hardship yields fruit through a deepened faith and strength, thereby creating purpose and hope for what is to come. And, as you restore and rebuild, He, too, will be there right with you helping, because "he will comfort all...waste places; and...will make [the] wilderness like Eden" (Isaiah 51:3). So, might you remember that even when "the heavens ...vanish like smoke...[his] salvation will last forever" (51:6). #PickUpThePieces & #RiseFromTheWreckage

Everyone has a story; and some tell theirs, while others do not. Those that share theirs are those that have experienced the help of a man who has touched them (see 1 John 1:1); and when this happens "the word of God lives in [them]" (1 John 2:14). So, if given the chance, may you chose to share your story because He is part of yours, as he has "created the heavens and earth" (Genesis 1:1), along with every living being, including both "male and "female" (1:27). #ShareIt #ByWord OR #ByAction

What will you resolute to do this year?
Within a matter of hours, another year is upon us, and many new year resolutions will be made, once again; and whatever you resolute to do, may one of them be the same every year. When you put Him "first and...last" (Isaiah 48:12), you know that you will be able to face and accomplish anything that you set out to do or at least give it your best. So, instead of making resolutions only to break them days or weeks later, may you always resolute to place your hope and trust in Him. For when you do, your "well-being [will be] like the waves of the sea" (48:18), calm, joyful and prosperous. #ResoluteFaith

Valentine's Day is just around the corner or stock up for next year gifts, parties, home decor, etc. You will be able to witness how every prop and products are recycled, repurposed and renewed. It's amazing what you can do with most anything.

How desperate are you? & "How long" are you willing to wait for an answer?
A sense of urgency and impatience arise when desperate and in despair; and feeling as such was David as he asked many questions of the Lord: “How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and day after day have sorrow in my heart?” (Psalm 13:1-2). In order to handle these dark moments, it is when you are confident in the Lord's "unfailing love" (13:5) and continue to "sing [His] praise", that, in the right time, he will answer you(see 13:6). So, might you remain steadfast in prayer and trust in His promises. #NoAnswersAreAnswers

What are you trying to build and for whom?
To build anything takes a great deal of thought, effort and time; and if you want to build something that will last, it takes even more consideration. Doing just that was Solomon. Instead of trying to "make a name for [himself]" (Genesis 11:4), like those who wanted to build themselves a city (see 11:4) "with a tower that [reached] to the heavens" (Genesis 11:4), He "[built] a temple for the Name of the Lord [his] God" (1 Kings 5:5). So, if you truly want to build something that will withstand the test of time, might you remember that if the Lord is not the center of your build, "[you will] labor in vain" (Psalm 127:1). #BuildItTheRightWay & #BuildItToLast

What paralyzes and empowers you?
Fear will rob you of your life; and faith will help you live life to the fullest. Choosing to live by faith was Amram and Jochebed, Moses's parents, as they put him in a basket "among the reeds along the band of the Nile" (Exodus 2:3) after Pharaoh ordered "every son...born to the Hebrews" to be "cast into the river" (1:22). In doing so, Moses was saved; and one day would "bring forth [God's] people...out of Egypt" (3:10). So, may you choose to live a faith-filled life and reap the many blessings that it gives to those who believe in Him. #FearlessInFaith

Insight & Tip: Besides the Book, take a moment to see, in each of these pictures, that everything is recycled, repurposed and renewed, the wool stockings, the denim hearts, the ribbons, material, lights, clear plastic covers, wood, ANW screen/backdrop. So, before you throw away anything, might you try and use it one more time. You will be surprised by what you can do with it.

If you are considering retaliation, might you look for another alternative. Questioning whether to "kill" (2 Kings 6:21) his enemies that were placed in his city was the king of Israel. Instead, Elisha, a prophet, said to "set food and water before them so that they may eat and drink and then go back to their master” (6:22). For doing so, the king's enemies "stopped raiding Israel's territory" (6:23). So, may you find grace, instead, and be better, wiser and stronger for doing so. #ArmYourselfWithGoodnessAndGrace

How much face time do you need?
There is nothing like "real" face to face interactions, especially with recent circumstances limiting them. Fortunately, there is one such interaction that has no in person limitations-prayer. For you can "seek his face" (Psalm 27:8), anytime and anywhere, because He always wants you to "come and talk with [him]" (27:8 NLT). So, when you are struggling to find some "real" one-on-one and cannot, might you consider listening to your heart and tell Him that "[you are] coming" (27:8 NLT) to talk. #AlwaysAvailable
