What do you add or remove to keep your peace or kitchen clean and in order?
The pot is stirred, every day, with ingredients that create just enough spice to alter your state of mind and peace. Helping you to remain calm and keep your peace, even among the pot stirrers, is the Prince of Peace himself, Jesus, as He works to put out kitchen fires every single day. One of those fires began among the Jews and gentiles; but Jesus was able to distinguish it as he "preached peace to [gentiles] who were far away and peace to [Jews] who were near" (Ephesians 2:17). So, instead of getting yourself thrown in to the pot and over stirred, might you consider looking to The One who will always help you keep the peace in your life no matter the recipe. #SiftThrough & #RemoveTheIngredientsThatDoNotBelong

Businesses, friendships and communities are built on relationships; and in order to develop them they come with a cost. One of those costs require, “in humility", to "value others above [yourself], not looking to your own interests but…to the interests of...others” (Philippians 2:3-4); and when you do, they become a good investment. So, if you want to grow your circle, might you let go of any “selfish ambition” and/or “vain conceit” (2:3) and take the time to invest in your relationships with others just like Christ Jesus has with you. #TheCostOfCaring

How relevant and capable are you?
There is much more to a person than just their "outward appearance" (1 Samuel 16:7); and noticing more, "the heart" (16:7), is the Lord. When looking for the next king of Israel, the Lord did not want Samuel to "consider...appearance or...height” (16:7), but the least likely, which was David. And, when it came time to face and defeat Goliath, it was David. So, no matter the exterior, may you stay the course in your pursuit to make your way and mark in this world. It might take a little longer to get there, but you can and He be right there to help you do so. #KeepPushing #KeepWorking & #BeatTheOdds

How do you treat what you borrow?
This world began as a blank canvas, as "no shrub had yet appeared on the earth and no plant had yet sprung up, . . . and there was no one to work the ground” (Genesis 2:5), until He created human offspring to grow and develop it, while also keeping his Commandments (see Genesis 2:15-17). Being one of His offspring, you have been given full access to His creation to grow your garden; and just like those before you, your garden, too, begins as a blank slate. With time, along with love, care and hard work, you can grow it into something truly special. So, may your garden grow and produce great harvests, in all seasons, while also honoring and respecting the land that He has afforded you to be able to do so. #TakeGoodCareOfIt

How do you keep your focus?
When distracted, it is very hard to pay attention let alone focus. Helping to direct your attention and focus is Scripture, as it is "all God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16) and will "[equip you] for every good work" (3:17). So, if you truly want to remain focused, giving your undivided attention, might you consider asking God to help you “meditate on [the Law] day and night” so that you are “prosperous and successful”, like Joshua was (Joshua 1:8); because He is "the way and the truth and the life" (John 14:6). #DialItIn & #RemainLaserFocused

How often do you complain or lament?
Complaining does not get you very far, but lamenting will. While "[your] feet [are] in a spacious place" (Psalm 31:8), God's, you will encounter circumstances that will create stress, turmoil and heartache, just like David experienced and endured. And, when afflicted, David lamented to God, because he knew that he could count on God to hear him and be his "rock", a "house of defense" (31:2), and "fortress" (31:3) that would keep him safe. If you, too, do the same, He will also "lead" and "guide" (31:3) you through every single circumstance. So, instead of complaining, might you consider lamenting and "be strong and take heart" and "hope in the LORD" (31:24). #HeListensWell #Protects & #Answers

Why be humble?
The proud will fall and the humble will prevail; and recognizing this is the Lord, especially when he helped David, a humble servant, defeat Goliath, a giant warrior, by killing him with a sling shot and stone (see 1 Samuel 17:32-50). So, whenever pride creeps in, might you always remember that the Lord "looks kindly on the lowly" (Psalm 138:6) and "keeps his distance from the proud" (Psalm 138:6 NLT). #NoPrideNoEgo

For those who believe know that their "citizenship is in heaven" (Philippians 3:20), because they know that "if you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own" (John 5:19). So, while you live here, temporarily, among the "[hate]" (15:19) and "[persecution]" (15:20), might you remember that when you are "poor in spirit" (Matthew 5:3) you "will be "comforted" (5:4), as well as cared for and loved and follow you to the next. #TheRulesAreDifferent #EarthlyAndHeavenlyRules

People disappoint; but He does not. For someone to give up their only son to save (see 1 John 3:16 & John 3:16) and continue to love and forgive you speaks volumes. So, if are tired of being disappointed, might you “see what great love the Father has lavished on [you]” (1 John 3:1), because “never will [He] leave you; never will [He] forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5). #NeverBeDisappointedAgain
