What news is worthy of sharing?
Much is talked about; and most of it is not worthy of mentioning let alone sharing. Yet, there is such news, great news, that is worthy of sharing, and not just Christmas alone. Today and everyday, each and every person is blessed to be here because of "a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger” (Luke 2:12). This baby, The Messiah, Jesus, was sent, by his father, to save the world from all of its devastation and discord that is talked about on a daily basis. So, if you want to hear the good news, and often, might you help to "spread the word" (2:17) to as many people as you can and experience the joy that He brings every day of the year. #MerryChristmas

What will you compromise to get yours?
Living in a cut-throat world, many will do whatever it takes to get what they want. Encouraging you to avoid any devious tactics is the relationship between Gregory and Basil, each leaders and also friends. Both men chose not to become rivals, but supporters of each other, as they lived by faith, hope and "good deeds" (Hebrews 10:24). As a result, both became very successful. So, might you consider "how [you] may spur one another on toward love and good deeds" 10:24), instead of stepping on or over them. #ItsALongWayDown

To love and be loved is the greatest gift that you could ever receive; and fortunately, you can receive both "because he first loved [you]" (2 John 4:19). So, may "his Spirit" (4:13) continue to fill you with love so that you can also share it with others. #TheGiftThatKeepsOnGiving

Where does your light source come from? & How bright is it?
Some lights shine brighter than others; and there are those that burn out or never get lit. Yet, there is a light that never burns out and always shines and illuminates everything. Bringing such a "light to everyone" was God (John 1:4 NLT); and with this light, there is "no need of sun or moon, for the glory of God illuminates the city, and the Lamb is its light” (Revelation 21:23 NLT). So, if you would like to light or brighten your light, might you seek His light so that he can "shine [his] light on [you]" (22:5). #TheLightOfTheWorld #AnEternalFlame

What truth(s) can you depend on?
The truth may sting, even hurt, but you know where you stand; and always going to tell you the truth is "the Word of God", as it "endures forever" (Isaiah 40:8). So, if you want total honesty, might it be from Him, as "the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God" (John 1:1). #AlwaysTruthful & #NeverDisappoints

How will you begin and end?
There is a beginning and an ending in everything that you do. For "in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth" (Genesis 1:1) and then said "let there be light" (1:3); and as for the ending, it is yet to be determined by Him. So, whatever you begin, may you do "good" (1:10), because when it is your time, He will see your good works and reward you for choosing to do so. #Begin & #EndWell

Daily Meditation of A Nurse Warrior
How can you remove the noise to hear what you need to hear?
Wisdom does not fight to be heard among the noise that surrounds it; and following suit was Moses, one of God's chosen "prophet[s]" (Deuteronomy 18:15). When Moses spoke, the Israelites listened as he said to them: “The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you . . . . [and] You must listen to him” (18:15). For when you do, Jesus, the "new Moses" (see Acts 3:22-23; 1 Timothy 2:5), will continue to provide God's instructions to help you (see Deuteronomy 18:18). So, when you choose to listen to the right people, even among the commotion, you, too, will also receive the same instruction to help you live wisely and well. #ClearOutTheClamor & #BeDrawnToTheWord

What needs saved or rescued?
Maybe your health, home or relationships. Thanks to Mary and Joseph's privilege and sacrifice (see Matthew 1:18, 19, 20 & 24 & Leviticus 20:10), long ago, they helped "save his people [aka you] from their [aka your] sins" (Matthew 1:21) by bringing in to this world a child, named Jesus, the Savior (see Luke 2:30-32), whom is celebrated every Christmas. So, as you ponder the significance of what Mary, Joseph and Jesus did and continues to do, might you give thanks and praise His Holy name now and forever more. #OurSavior & #Rescuer

What encouragement do you need? & What encouragement can you offer?
There is nothing like receiving encouragement along life's journey. Offering hope and reassurance to the Thessalonians, after losing friends, was Paul (see 1 Thessalonians 4:14); and "while they waited for His return", he told them to "encourage one another and build each other up" (4:11). So, if you can, might you do the same, whether it be as an "advocate" (John 14:26), confidant, counselor or comforter, just like the Holy Spirit. #ASupportSystem & #LifeLine

What inheritance has been bestowed upon you? & If so, how do you utilize it?
There are many kinds of inheritance, some that have monetary value and others with character traits. Receiving "sincere faith", from his "grandmother Lois" and "[his] mother Eunice" (2 Timothy 1:5) was Timothy; and because of such an inheritance, God, also, continued to "[live] in [him]" (1:5). So, if you are bequeathed anything, may you be blessed and also bless others with your inheritance and leave a legacy that will live on well after you are gone. #ALifetimeAndEternityOfWealth
