Daily Meditations of a Nurse Warrior
Whether we notice or not, we are role models to everyone we meet. Doing so provides us with the opportunity to impact others, especially when we "worship the Lord with gladness" (Psalm 100:2). #goodnessandkindnessiscontagious & #peoplewilllikeandfollow

Daily Meditations of a Nurse Warrior
Life moves quickly and never seems to slow down. Go. Go. Go. We expect things to happen and problems resolved in an instant. Unfortunately, life doesn't always happen that way, especially with God. When Lazarus died, Jesus did not arrive until four days later (see John 11:17). Martha, one of Lazarus's sisters, said to Jesus, "if you had been here, my brother would not have died" (John 11:21). In saying this, Jesus did arrive on time, because he raised Lazarus from the dead. With God, he is never in a hurry and is always on time. Patience in life's busyness will serve you well, especially when you rely on and trust in him. #patienceisavirtue

How strong is your foundation? If you have a "well-built" (Luke 6:48) foundation, you will be able to withstand the devastation (see 6:49), when, not if, the floods come. #listen & #buildwisely

2021, a new year! Excited, but still uncertain? Whatever it is that we do to bring in the new year, fireworks, black-eyed peas, or opening doors, there is one thing that we can always count on. Through God, we have the assurance that we will never have to go it alone as we pass through the waters of life
(see Isaiah 43:1-2). #ringinthenewyear & #resolutetoknowhim
Wishing you a happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year!

Life, too, can feel like listening to "fireworks", but it doesn't have to. The only one that can help with these loud noises is the prince of peace himself, Christ (see Ephesians 2:14). When there is hope and God is in your life, there is no better calm to help handle life's explosions (see 2:12). #findyourpeace & #livepeacefully

Our successes are not about the extent of our resumes or titles that we hold. Instead, they are based on our compassion, grace, and love that we show others, just as the Lord is to us (see Exodus 34:6). Therefore, if you truly want to be successful, you might consider following his lead. #theessenceoftruesucess

When you are ready to "stand against the devil's schemes," Ephesians 6:11, put on the "full armor of God," (6:13-18), and you will be able to stand your ground in the face of anything (see 6:13). #tobereadyisto #prepare & #equipyourself

A broken heart and brokenness has the ability to create feelings of despair. Fortunately, through prayer and his guidance, He can bring each one of us renown joy, praise and honor (see Jeremiah 33:9). #restoringthemindbodyandsoul #throughhealingandhope

Living in darkness? At times, life can feel dark; but even in the darkness you are never alone. For "The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love" (Psalm 103:8). Choose to live in the light of this world and be free from all darkness. #seewhatyouaremissing & #turnthelightson

Life can sometimes leave us feeling meaningless, even irrelevant. Whatever the reason, we are still relevant, needed, and have a purpose, thanks be to God. Need more proof, see 1 Kings 19:15-16, when God helped Elijah find and renew his purpose. #findyourpurposeagain & #makeadifference
