Daily Meditations of a Nurse Warrior

Being ever so mindful of what I write each and every day, I share what I write in an effort to promote healthy lives and work environments. It is because of something greater that has allowed me now do what I do. I hope that you take each daily thought and are able to use it in your personal as well as professional life and live life to the very fullest.

There is no need to worry or be scared, anxious, or fearful, because He will provide and take care of our daily needs, just as he does for the birds of the air (see Matthew 6:26). #havingconfidenceinHim & #meetingallofourneeds

Daily Meditations of a Nurse Warrior

No one, not even zealots or traitors, is excluded from God's company or assistance. He makes space for such people, because he wants all sinners to repent and become righteous (see Luke 5:32). #comeonecomeall & #allarewelcome

One Timothy 6:19 says that "Taking hold of [true] life" is "be[ing] generous and willing to share" (1 6:18). Whatever benevolent and kind act you perform, consider doing so with an open and loving heart. #genuinegoodness

Daily Meditations of a Nurse Warrior

Conflict does not have to consume us or take over our lives. When we choose to rely on His wisdom, which is pure, peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere, then we can sow in peace and reap a harvest of righteousness (see James 3: 17-18). #bethatdifference #makeanimpact & #chosetolivepeacefully

Daily Meditations of a Nurse Warrior

Conflict is inevitable; but it doesn't need to create bitterness, rage, anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Instead, Paul advises us to be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as Christ forgave us (see Ephesians 4:31-32). When we do so, we are able to work calmly and cohesively together towards peaceful resolutions. #alwaysbekindandfair & #reconcileforthegreatergood

Daily Meditations of a Nurse Warrior

How blessed are we, when someone, two thousand years ago willingly lay down their life for us (see John 10:14-15) so that we "may have life, and have it to the full" (10:10). As we embark on the season of giving thanks and reason for celebrating Christmas, remember to give thanks for everything, show gratitude at every turn, and love others unconditionally, and continuing to do so every day of the year. #haveagratefulheart

How do you build your confidence? In Phillipians 3:8, Paul shares with us how to go about building our confidence. He says that there is no reason for us to have to boast or justify ourselves to others; it is about putting our confidence in God, not flesh. #fleshvsfaith & #nocomparison

Daily Meditations of a Nurse Warrior

Feeling vulnerable, helpless or weak? When feeling like there is no help or hope in sight, at all times, there is one person that we can always call on to be our Rock (see Psalm 28:1-2). "The Lord is the strength of his people" (see 28:8-9). #humbleyourself & #reachout

Circumstances, for better or worse, can change our lives. Personally, I have chosen to continue serving others "humbly in love" and to show "kindness and goodness" (Galatians 5:13, 22). How about you? #promotinghealthyworkenvironments & #kindnesstoeachother

Daily Meditations of a Nurse Warrior

When we have faith and hope, along with assurance about what we do not see (see Hebrews 11:1), we can conquer our fears and insecurities, and obstacles. #confidentandcourageous
