Daily, “Mindful Meditations”

If you having been following me, I hope that you have been enjoying the daily, “Mindful Meditations,” postings since January 1, 2020. These are mindful thoughts of mine that are supported by scripture and relate to everyday life.

Having officially created A Nurse Warrior Enterprises, LLC, this past July 2020, I am excited to announce the very soon and upcoming publication of, my book, “Mindful Meditations of a Nurse Warrior.”

It has been a very long journey, since that fateful and life changing day, March 26, 2018; but with a lot of time, love, courage, passion, support, transparency, forgiveness, trust, belief, focus, presence, hope, humility….-just a few of my “46” mindful meditations, I have been able to find myself again with a restored mind, body, and soul, a renewed perspective, and refreshed purpose.

A peek in to “Mindful Meditations of a Nurse Warrior”

After many years of being treated uncivilly, within academia, a young, passionate, and tenacious nurse, a Nurse Warrior, lives to tell her eye-opening and courageous story.

In order to share her story, this Nurse Warrior, takes you on a mindful and spiritual journey that speaks to 46 powerful and insightful meditations that reflect her professional as well as personal struggles with incivility, in academia, and how she has been able to heal, recover, and restore her mind, body, and soul, as well as reset and reprioritize what is most important in life.

If you want to find your voice and courage, be able to see your life more clearly, prioritize what matters most to you, know that you are not alone and are supported, and want to live a happy and healthy life that is filled with goodness and honesty, take this mindful journey with me.

Looking to the future

With this book being the foundation and beginning of A Nurse Warrior Enterprises, LLC, I am also working to create products, through restoration, repurposing, and recycling, from the heart. In an effort to do so, these original creations will continue to echo and translate my love, passion, courage, and purpose to continue spreading kindness everywhere, establish a platform for accountability within the nursing profession, and continue to promote health and wellness in order to help others understand the importance of having a healthy mind, body, and soul.

See what A Nurse Warrior is all about in “Mindful Meditations of a Nurse Warrior,” and her continued efforts to spread kindness through her products.

Thank you for your time; and it is my hope that my book is worthy of reading and you are able to take away something from it.

Kindly,
Jamie Blevins

Daily Meditations of a Nurse Warrior

When we allow our egos or the need to be right to stand in the way, we run the risk of self-destruction (see Galatians 5:15) and possibly other negative outcomes. Therefore, we should consider other ways to temper our attitudes and behaviors and aspire to have the same mindset as Christ, which is self-giving love (Philippians 2:5-8). #bewise #compromise #seekpeace #beunited & #worktogether

Words can make such an impact, especially when it comes in the form of criticism. James 1:19 advises us to be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry; and live in harmony with one another (Romans 12:16.). Therefore when heeding correction, we gain understanding (see Proverbs 15:32). #RemainCalm & #RespondRespectfullyAndHumbly❤️

Do you need help fighting life's "dragons"? Colossians 2:15 acknowledges that these "dragons" are no match for God. Allow God to help you fight the "dragons" of this world; because "He gives us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ" (1 Corinthians 15:57). #armyourselfwithGod & #bearmedwithwisdomtruthandstrength

In Proverbs 9:10, Solomon says, wisdom abounds when we "fear" or have an awe of God. Therefore, my prayer is to give those who serve Him, as well as others, "a discerning heart...the ability to distinguish between right and wrong" (see 1 Kings 3:9), and to also have "a breadth of understanding as measureless as the sand on the seashore" (4:29). #befilledwithwisdom

Whether at work, home, church, or anywhere, Leviticus, 19:33-34, reminds us to welcome others with kindness and to love them as ourselves; because we were once foreigners. #takeeveryopportunitytowelcomeothers

No matter what obstacles or hardships we face, in this lifetime, God promises that he will strengthen, help, and uphold us with his righteous right hand (see Isaiah 41:10). #fearnot & #hehasourback

Colossians 3:13-16 reminds us how important it is to look out for another, work together, and serve one another, because together, not a part, we flourish in unity and peace. #respect #accountability & #teamwork #equalshappinessandhealthiness

In Ephesians 4:16, Paul reminds us that "each part [should do] its work," because we are part of "the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, growing[s] and building[s] itself up in love." Therefore, no matter what you do, know that your job is just as important as anyone else's. #bethebestthatyoucanbe & #honorhim

Daily Meditations of a Nurse Warrior

How do you measure (your) success--one that is like a mustard seed, slow growing, but when it does is strong, steady, true, persistent, welcoming, and permeating (see Matthew 13:32); or one that is like bamboo, fast-growing, and as it does becomes vigorous, noxious, disrespectful, selfish, draining, and overcrowded? #whatareyourpriorities #howcontentareyou & #howdoyouwanttoberemembered
