Daily Meditations of a Nurse Warrior

Living in fear creates unnecessary worry, stress, and anxiety that leads to ill-effects of one's well-being. Therefore, in order to face our fears, Joshua, 1:5 & 9, encourages us to be strong and courageous, and not be afraid, because He will never leave or forsake us. #fearnot & #livewell

Jeremiah provides perspective, in times of drought, in to how we live our lives, either as a tumbleweed or tree. A tumbleweed pulls away from its life-source and scatters, impedes, and ends up drying out and dying; whereas a tree remains deeply rooted and connected and continues to thrive and sustain itself. Therefore, you can either choose to be like a tumbleweed "whose heart turns away from the Lord" (see 17:5); or a tree, "one who trusts in the LORD" (see 17:7-8). #plantedorscattered & #thrivingordying

Daily Meditations of a Nurse Warrior

There is opportunity "everywhere" to reach out to others; and we never have to go it alone, because He will be with us always, to the end of time (see Matthew 28: 19 & 20 GNT). #helpingothersseeandknowhim

Daily Meditations of a Nurse Warrior

When we are honest with ourselves, much is uncovered. One of those honest moments is knowing that we are all sinners; and it is because Christ Jesus came in to this world, with love and grace, to save sinners like us (see 1 Timothy 1:15). #freeyourself & #ownyoursins

It is through our weaknesses that God is able to hold and transform us and make them something very special. As I have turned my weakness(es) to the Lord, I am proudly boasting of the things that show my weaknesses (see 2 Corinthians 11:30). #ANurseWarriorEnterprisesLLC #MindfulMeditationsofaNurseWarrior & #considertakingaleapoffaith

It is extremely difficult to forgive those who hurt us; and when we are unable able to forgive, we give those who hurt us the upper hand and become someone we are not. Luke 23:34 tells us to "forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing." #findyourstrengthtoforgive #staytruetoyourself & #moveforwardinlove

How important is it to listen, even for a moment, to be able to hear what is being said, with all of life's distractions, so that we can get in touch with ourselves and our priorities? Isaiah 55:3 shares some wisdom about taking time out to listen by suggesting that we seek the Lord and give him an ear so that we may live well and make an everlasting covenant with him. #dontforgettopauseandlisten & #hearwhatisgoingonallaroundyou

Who creates your joy? As you ponder this, know that your joy comes from within; and when you understand this, consider sharing your joy with others, through song or word, and praise Him for his goodness and faithfulness (see Psalm 95:1). #findyourjoy & #livejoyfully
