The Author Who Cried Wolf

Since the news of the new Kindle Unlimited pay per page I've watched all the writers groups on social media whine and moan and groan. And I laugh. For those who have been around a while, we've heard it all before.  I can remember when I first started poking the industry with my stick to test out the waters, Kindle was just a rumor to be released in 2007. There were authors yelling about, "Long live print", "I'll never put my books in an ebook", among many other anti-kindle statements. Ebooks out

Publishing Options

    After running a book store that specialized in indie and self-published authors, I cannot tell you how many times I repeated the same information. Typically it started with, "Sorry you went that route." or "There are better ways." Since that store isn't there anymore, I thought I'd put all that information on a blog post for those who know me to refer others to.   Now, if you want to hand over large amounts of money then by all means pick whatever vanity press you want. Coming Soon

A little at a time things coming around.   I've added Linkedin. Added Fiverr. I've come back around to my website. I'm always on Facebook, I have friends there.  Goodreads is as updated as it can be. Amazon keeps up to date too. I think I finally uploaded everything that would be in a professional portfoloio to Pintrest. I like the organization of the files.   After a year of piddling and doing everything for others, it seems I'm back around to writing too. Oh, yes, it feels good.   We will see
