For science!
The most noble and important value to Arban is the pursuit of knowledge, so much so as to justify even acts... that may be a little less noble. To achieve results and have the freedom to experiment as she wishes, she doesn't have too many scruples being involved with questionable employers or obscure projects, as in her long-standing and enthusiastic collaboration with Paradise Labs under the directives of the charming Mater Inferorum, covering the role of scientific researcher for her team.
There's a little mad scientist rubbing her hands in her heart and she doesn't even try to keep her at bay.

Mongolia, I miss you! But not really.
Arban was born in Tsetserleg, capital of Arkangai Aimag (a district in Mongolia) and lived a fairly happy youth there, but left the country shortly after obtaining her doctorate in Biochemistry from the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technology in MAS (Mongolian Academy of Sciences). While she feels like her hometown can't offer her the chances of the personal and professional growth she desires, she can't help but still be attached to the traditions, atmosphere and culture of her country, almost idealizing it from afar. At the moment she lives with her wife Valery, which is also a colleague of hers, in England, having obtained dual citizenship, but her country still stays in her little mad scientist's heart in the end.

To be a wolf
When Arban arrived into her family, her birth was seen as a miracle.
In the "Secret History of the Mongols", the Mongol peoples are said to be descendant from a doe and a wolf; there were tales in Arban's family (who didn't know of being "kinfolks", creatures who are genetically lycans but unable to shift from their birth form to another) of special kids that could borrow the appearance of wolves, as a divine gift from their ancestor, gaining superior strength, agility and, it was said, charm.
Arban was encouraged to get in touch with her "beastly" part as much as she wanted to. She learned to master her shapeshifting and retain most of her self-control even during full moon nights: her "crinos" (full moon) form, which she can now adopt at will, is slightly taller her human form; she becomes hardly verbal and instinctive, but since she's calm-natured her behavior changes into something akin to how a real wolf might behave rather than the one of an uncontrolled werewolf.
Despite her control, Arban's native human form is still her favorite.

Motherly figure
Arban always desired to be a mother: living the experience of carrying a life, caring for a child, help them navigate through life. For a long time, a series of events made it impossible to crown her dream of becoming mom until she became head of the Supergoldenwolfen selection project team.
She volunteered to carry the Prisoner 709's puppies through artificial insemination: it was an incredible opportunity to not only research on the genome of the most remarkable host of the lab and the results of that hybridization, but also to achieve healthy pups bearing the DNA of a strong, unique lycan specimen. Of the resulting children, she kept only the female that she named Alvara, and gave back the other two kids to the selection project, so she could also see them daily. Years later, after a terrible jailbreak from Paradise Labs later known as the “Monster Run”, Alvara disappeared without a trace. Arban still works there, hoping that one day she and her daughter shall be reunited.

Meditation
Arban is a pragmatic person, but she loves to find a moment for herself and disconnect from everything else to unload any tension. She is a mindfulness enthusiast! She doesn't usually like to practice meditation indoors, and her favorite environment for meditation is on the seashore.

Other info

She fluently speaks both Mongolian and English and knows how to use two different alphabets: the Latin alphabet and the Cyrillic one. She also understands and speaks very well Russian, even if she's not quite as good at using it than with the other two languages. 

She got married in an absolutely over-the-top wedding with one of her colleagues, Valerie Blake, on the 24th of March in 2018. Her boss Lilith decided to cover all the (terribly high) expenses for the wedding to reward the two researchers of their work, discretion, and loyalty in all these years, also employing Dr. Hannibal Morte , one of the most appreciated, expensive and fine-working wedding planners of the moment. 

She's the mother of Alejandro de Rocamora.

Stylistic notes:Her proportions make her seem taller than she really is. When she has it, the fur that makes her mane and covers hands and feet is always pitch black; in human form, she seems hairless aside from her straight and shiny hair.Her winter coat is way more dense and thick than her regular one. Paola Cigna is the adoptive mother of Enrico Rotelli (the protagonist of Lupus in Aula). Since she always appears composed and gestures very little -- especially for an Italian -- she may look cold or meek, but it's a deceiving impression: the people that are close to her know that she has actually a pretty cheeky and sweet personality and is a rather determined individual; she doesn't, however, trust easily. Paola would do anything for the sake of her children, even if that means having to deal with lycanthropes' matters on a daily basis!

She's married to the radio host Fausto Rotelli, with whom she had a biological daughter as well several years after Enrico's adoption: the little Floriana.

She attended the Kore University of Enna, graduating in economics and management. In the end she totally changed route and became a tropical fish breeder; however, the competences she achieved there helped her start and manage her business.
Of all the fish she has, her favorite is an old golden and blue male Betta named "Gladiatore".

Paola frequently changes clothing and hair style, but her constant is to keep her wardrobe somewhat "flowy" and comfortable; since both she and her husband use earrings, and very similar ones in style at that, it's not uncommon for them to exchange them from time to time.

  Nata umana, Sara è diventata una licantropa attraverso il morso di qualcuno della sua specie e la sua natura dormiente, i suoi geni segreti, si sono risvegliati per trasformarla in un supergoldenwolfen, l'alfa degli alfa tra gli aurolupus. Rispettata dalle tribù, a volte persino venerata da alcuni aurolupus, ha deciso di abbandonare la sua parte umana e godersi il suo nuovo incredibile potere. Aveva compreso che non trasformarsi mai più nella sua forma umana le avrebbe donato muscoli più reattivi, un fattore di rigenerazione più alto e, la sua cosa preferita, una taglia maggiore. È una dei pochi licantropi che riescono a raggiungere una forma da "grande crinos" senza essere in estremo pericolo, ma è molto molto difficile per lei mutarsi in qualcosa che sembri un vero essere umano.Lei è lunatica e capriccosa e sa senza ombra di dubbio che ognuno dei suoi desideri... è un ordine.
Non è in grado di parlare nessuna lingua umana mentre è in una forma inumana, quindi di solito parla in "Garou delle Sabbie", il linguaggio più comune tra le tribù di aurolupus.

Regina delle regine Una forza fisica superiore e aggressività non sono le uniche caratteristiche richieste perchè un licantropo sia un alpha: hanno bisogno di empatia, un grande istinto paterno/materno ed intelligenza, ma gli aurolupus sono ben diversi dai comuni licantropi... essendo lo spirito della bestia incarnato, scelgono di seguire il più forte e feroce esemplare del branco. Sara è una combattente eccellente, una guerriera impavida, e non permette a nessuno di contraddirla o mancarle di rispetto: questo fa sì che il suo branco la veda come un'alfa incredibilmente valida. La sua forza, abilità ed arroganza le consentono di sottomettere gli alfa di qualunque altro branco e di conseguenza Sara si comporta solitamente in maniera "prepotente", imponendosi su qualunque licantropo e persino concendendosi di uccidere quelli che non le piacciono. Ad ogni modo, è una bestia capricciosa e talvolta magnanima, capace di aiutare gli altri così come di rovinarne la vita...

Refrattaria alla magiaQuesto carrarmato di muscoli può essere fermato solo per mezzi meccanici: la magia, persino quella dei draghi, non ha effetto su di lei. D'altro canto, è allergica all'argento, come tutti i licantropi! Dovremmo preparare qualche proiettile speciale?  D'aspetto non molto umano...Sara passa la maggior parte del suo tempo in forme ferali, sia hispo (la forma nativa e favorita da molti aurolupuse, anche se lei è nata umana) che lupina, ed a volte (specialmente durante le notti di plenilunio) assume l'aspetto di un mostro, un lupo gigante antropomorfo (e non vi piacerebbe incontrarla in quei momenti, in verità), ma ha abbandonato completamente la propria forma umana. Se è costretta a tornare nuovamente all'aspetto di una donna, il risultato sarà... beh... non molto convincente: mostrerà ancora diversi tratti animali, come unghie forti simili ad artigli, una coda corta, denti grandi con canini appuntiti, molti peli e perfino un po' di barba. Ma, ehi, almeno così potrebbe parlare, anche se la sua voce è diventata ora diversa e più graffiante di quella che aveva da giovane. Guardandola, è difficile pensare che sia nata in forma umana in realtà!
Una debolezza?
Scaltra, pragmatica, forte e refrattaria alla magia, Sara è praticamente senza debolezze... o no? A parte la sua genuina avversione per il fuoco (come tutti gli aurolupus, ha un rapporto "problematico" con le fiamme), Sara è fortemente protettiva del suo (principale) compagno, il lupo mannaro Mark McWoodland, ed è pronta a fare qualunque cosa per lui, persino saltare attraverso il fuoco, versare sangue (proprio o altrui) e, alcuni dicono, morire. Si tratta di vero amore o di una terribile debolezza?

Floating Hornian lily
(Liliumfluitantis horniense)

The Liliumfluitantis horniense, also called floating Hornian lily or runner lily, is a plant of the genus Liliumfluitantis, in the liliaceae family. It is native to the central area of ​​Horn Blu Island, but has subsequently spread throughout the island.
It forms bulbs at ground level, from which grow erect stems covered with oblong and spatulate leaves, from fifty centimeters to one and a half meters high, which subsequently dry up in summer. Flowering happens in spring and the intensely perfumed flowers are saffron yellow in color, with the typical shape of a lily, but their petals widen at the tips forming circular shapes that seem to capture the wind.
The fruits are trilocular capsules full of a large number of seeds that usually ripen in the period of August-September.

The magic of floating

During the flowering period, the floating lily detaches itself from the ground, leaving a certain amount of small bulbils behind, and floats away carried by the wind, so that there's no overcrowding of bulbs in the same piece of ground. This way the plant spreads quickly and grows healthy.
The magic of floating fades and then goes off permanently as the leaves dry up in the summer, and the bulb lands somewhere where it will take root and start its life cycle again, producing new leaves and new bulbils in the winter, to newly float during the next flowering season and move again.
The origin of this phenomenon is unknown, like it's unknown whether it's a spontaneous type of magic or the successful experiment of an experienced magician, but the magic of floating is self-perpetuating and all plants born from the division of the bulbs or seeds of other floating lilies will be able to detach themselves from the ground.
If a part of the plant (for example, petlas or leaves) is detached from the rest during the floating period, it won't be able to float on its own.

In art and heraldry

Often the floating lily is painted together with the dames who have become dragoneers, as a symbol of their freedom acquired by “detaching themselves from the ground” thanks to the wings of their dragon.
In heraldry it represents a faction, a city or a family that are not bound to anyone, but, free as the floating lilies, can decide at any moment to support whatever ideology they wish: it is a "capricious" figure and is in a certain sense dangerous display it on a shield.

In popular culture

These gorgeous magical lilies, of course, have always teased the imagination of people, who have invented a series of superstitions and even games concerning them.
It is said that if a floating lily enters through the open window of a house, a new person who will bring happiness in the household will soon arrive in that house, and it's seen as a particularly auspicious sign by couples seeking to have children, which in spring leave all windows open hoping that these plants will come in.
When a large group of these flying lilies arrive near a village, the children gently pull them down with long reeds and then arrange them all lined up in a low, floating row; each child chooses a lily and stands behind it, then starts walking and blows behind it as quickly as possible to make it move forward. The lily that first arrives beyond the pre-established goal (which can be a fence, or a furrow in the ground or simply a tree) is called "King of the children" and hung with a rope in the center of the village where it will remain floating as a balloon until it loses its seasonal magical properties, to be later planted in a flower bed.

SupergoldenwolfenSolitamente, i licantropi aurolupus (chiamati anche da alcuni "goldenwolfen") sono alti intorno ai 1,60-1,78 m quando sono in forma umana. Furiadoro è alta 1,92 m, con un peso compreso tra 100 e 160 kg. La particolare sottospecie a cui appartiene, più alta e con pelle dalla pigmentazione più chiara, è conosciuta come "supergoldenwolfen" ed è estremamente rara, tanto da essere considerata una leggenda. Inoltre, anche se ha il fenotipo di una supergoldenwolfen pura, in realtà non è una purosangue e questo si traduce in una refrattarietà non totale alla magia (gli aurolupus puri lo sono completamente); in teoria, potrebbe anche usare incantesimi di base molto semplici.

Dominante, ma non troppo
Furiadoro, come la maggior parte dei licantropi aurolupus, ha una personalità molto forte e tende ad essere dominante, ma non desidera la responsabilità che deriva dall'essere la femmina alfa di un branco, quindi è solo una sorta di... prepotente. Il suo ruolo naturale, se mai entrasse in un branco, sarebbe quello di beta (o un rango inferiore se qualcuno riuscisse a batterla, cosa molto difficile).

Uno spirito antico
Il suo spirito è molto più vecchio del suo corpo, ed anche se non riesce a ricordare tutto delle sue vite precedenti, a volte sa cose che non dovrebbe sapere. E, oh ragazzi, il suo corpo è forte, ma la sua anima lo è cinquanta volte di più.

Non il suo nome
Furiadoro (le parole "furia d'oro" usate come nome) avrebbe dovuto essere solo un nome temporaneo datole da September Aster, un giovane mago. Invece, alla fine ha finito per rimanerle appiccicato e ora tutti la chiamano così...

 Una forma extra?Furiadoro è un licantropo a ciclo completo: questo significa che può raggiungere ogni possibile forma che un licantropo può avere, anche quelle intermedie (ad esempio un misto di forma da plenilunio ed umano, con artigli, un po 'di pelliccia e una costruzione più solida, ma la forma del corpo di base di una donna). Il suo aspetto è così fluido che anche i suoi lineamenti potrebbero cambiare leggermente ogni volta che torna in forma umana, quindi il suo viso potrebbe persino apparire un po' diverso ogni giorno. Ma la cosa più interessante è che può raggiungere uno stadio, chiamato "grande crinos" o "licantropo mostro", una forma così rara che solo pochi licantropi nella storia l'hanno ottenuto. Può rimanere solo pochi minuti in questo stato, che consuma una quantità impressionante di energia, in compenso può diventare un enorme carrarmato di lupa, dalla pelle spessa, che continua a crescere in stazza mangiando la carne dei suoi nemici e si abbandona totalmente all'istinto e all'aggressività.

This enthusiastic and emotive human being is the adoptive father of Enrico Rotelli (the protagonist of Lupus in Aula). Fausto has a clear, nice voice that can be very soothing, a feature that allowed him to become a popular radio host, his dream job since he was a young boy. He's married to Paola Cigna. He knows nothing about lycanthropes, but he's definitely willing to learn and he's supportive of his furry son (no, he doesn't have a dog).

Stylistic notes: 
Fausto likes to accessorize: other than his glasses, that he needs to see well, he often uses small earrings (sometimes he and his wife exchange them, since both of them use 'em), and likes to wearks jackets, gloves and scarves or keffiyehs whenever he's going out and/or in lieu of elegant clothing. Rings, bracelets and necklaces are fine too; he always has his wedding band on.
Fausto has a lot of hair, dark, smooth and thick, so if he doesn't tie them he ends up having the Mokuba Kaiba effect.

Anche se era un buon padre e leader, la sua autorità è stata spesso sfidata dai suoi compagni di branco a causa del fatto che Billee non è un aurolupus puro, come si può notare dalla sua pelliccia più soffice rispetto agli altri e gli occhi azzurri. Il suo sangue misto è per lui una profonda fonte di auto-disprezzo, dato che odia qualcosa di sè che è fuori dal suo controllo, rendendolo per lui un problema molto più grande di quello che sia in effetti per i suoi compagni di branco.
La sua vocazione è quella di bardo, narratore e cantante. Billee è così abile nell'usare la propria voce per il proprio ed altrui divertimento che ha imparato a fare imitazioni incredibilmente accurate, specialmente se si tratta di altre voci maschili.
Copre con piacere un rango medio-alto nel branco (ha una posizione variabile, che lo vede però spesso come beta) e fa da balia per le Sabbie Letali ogni primavera. Il suo forte istinto paterno fa sì che desideri occuparsi di qualunque cucciolo, anche se sono di specie diverse. Quest'inclinazione lo ha portato ad avere diversi animali domestici delle specie più disparate.

John is a sly, jovial person that laughs frequently, with an expressive "rubber" face. Behind his seemingly open nature and his friendliness, he hides visceral greed, that few are aware of.
When he becomes nervous, he's used keeping himself busy doing calculations in his mind, as mathematics seems to relax him.
He likes to perform physical work but can be terribly lazy in managing to complete something if he doesn't think he'll have a very positive outcome from it.
John is almost always on the same wavelength as his greedy dragon Dollaro, but can be less open-minded than him and quick to judge others and whole other species (such as werewolves and lycanthropes, that he despises and of which he's very afraid) just from few encounters. It's very difficult to make him change his mind about the labels he previously put.
