My First Art Show since High School

A few years ago I decided to try my hand at fluorescent art. I visualized making black shadow boxes, mounting fluorescent art inside and attaching black lights to the inside of the box. I accumulated a stack of fluorescent art I created through the years and then this year I decided I’d see how the shadow box idea could manifest in reality. I started gathering everything I needed for the project shortly after surgery, but I was in no shape to complete the project. I found out that a local witch I know was looking for gallery submissions for an art show during my recovery. I told her about my idea and she said I could hang my art in the show when I was better. I completed 2 pieces in October and 2 in November so tomorrow they are going up in the gallery! I was kind of shocked when the pieces came together and looked great as a finished project. It will be awesome to share them with the public! I haven’t been in an art show since high school so this is exciting!

A Gentle Reminder …

During the full eclipse in Taurus early last Tuesday morning, I dreamed I was climbing a translucent, ghostly ladder. I was climbing it up and up in the middle of darkness. I didn’t know where I was going. I’d climbed ladders like this in meditation and in dreams before and just like the times before, I was interested to see where I’d eventually end up.

I was climbing for a long time and I felt there must be something really awesome at the end of this ladder because it felt so remote compared to other places I visit when I leave my body.

But when I got to a certain point, a gentle force prevented me from climbing any higher. It felt like I was being repelled by a magnetic force. It didn’t hurt or feel threatening. But I was absolutely prevented from going any further.

I tried to climb with all my might but this gentle force continued to prevent me from climbing any higher. I even started running in place on the ladder to try to break through the forcefield.

I was so enthusiastic I started thrashing in bed. I kicked Zee and woke that one up. Zee was like “What are you doing?”

And I remembered the force. It felt friendly, like a parent or caretaker smiling and laughing at a little baby trying to crawl up the stairs. It felt like it was saying, “No, no, not yet, little one. Go back down there and play!” Zee agreed that was the meaning and we went back to sleep.

I was reminded that in the big scheme of things, even though my soul feels so ancient, I’m still just a little baby. It reminded me that sometimes the things we are blocked from are things we’re not ready for. But when we are finally ready, the wait is always worth it.

It wasn’t the first time I’ve been that far out there and it’s not the first time I was turned around. I’ll eventually be able to go further out, but I have to level up first. So back to exploring what earth has to teach me.

And that’s not so bad, I think.

I have all of this minus the dog. The hidden passages ate questionable. I’ve found evidence of changes in floor plan of the building but the closest to a hidden room I’ve found is an old dumwaiter.

People have been asking so here are some camera screen shots of my ghosts/orbs/plant energy.

We have at least 30 house plants and they’re energy is off the charts. I think it’s because once a month, Plant Music Therapy comes and hooks one of her plants to a synthesizer so all the plants learned about music and they love it. I didn’t think the orbs could be the plants until I woke up from a trance during our last plant music session harmonizing in chant with the plant we were working with.

I noticed the camera is right by the green house room when I started looking into the orbs so I think the orbs are actually plant energy.

But whatever they are, they sure like to zoom by the camera every night. Whatever they are, it’s fun to see what I catch on camera.

P.S. There’s a bonus pic of a kitty kat visitor. Cats visit every night too. My partner and the secretary call the sidewalk “the catwalk”

New Vision Boards for Wrapping up 2022

My vision boards for wrapping up 2023 with the goal set for opening the storefront in February. I also want to heal from my surgery and work on my attitude lol.

For me, I have a financial coach! My therapy group set me up with one. I had my first chat with my coach yesterday and I feel really good about the service already.

We jumped RIGHT into the storefront opening and started setting goals. TERRIFIED but here we go

My coach also applauded me on my social media follower numbers across platforms. Zee was sitting right next to me and was like “Damn really, I’m impressed.” I guess I never got a checkmark so I never realized that I’m doing something right

My coach said my business structure and plan is impressive and she’s really excited to work with me.

So that’s a yay!

Denver Witches’ Ball 2022: a Prosperous Night

I had a ball at Denver Witches’ Ball. They hold a night of Samhain celebration every year (minus 2021 and 2022) at Highlands Masonic Center. This year, My friends, Amanda and Seth, and my partner, Zee, worked the Magdalena Tower pop up shop in the Magical Marketplace while I read Tarot in the readers room. It was a fun and prosperous evening!

It was slow at first, but I visualized all the tables being filled so we could all be prosperous. Then each reader suddenly had constant clients. I had a line to see me most of the night. I ran to check on Magdalena Tower a couple of times and those breaks were quick but much needed breathers.

It was intense like psychic fairs always are but rewarding at the same time. I had regulars come see me. People cried. I channeled relatives, something that felt much easier than normal. There was lots of joy and laughter. I had a few wonderful couples readings — something that was also out of the ordinary. I guess being in a strong relationship attracted others in strong relationships to me. My favorite clients were the young people. They had such fresh and compassionate energy. They give me hope for the future.

A bit of bad omen appeared: I offered 4 decks and no matter what deck my clients picked, over half of my readings included the Tower. I believe we are going to see something on a national or even international level that could affect all of us here in the next week or so because of the sheer frequency the Tower appeared. I have never seen anything like that and I’ve been reading at psychic fairs for almost 10 years.

Another possible interpretation could be bad weather that affects us all locally. Hopefully it’s just a snow storm that shuts down town for a few days.

But despite the creepy omen, it was a lovely evening and everything was puuuuurfect. E
