Karma Police: Working with the angel Nemamiah

Working with #angels is strong medicine and learning to use #Hebrew to cocreate with the #Divine is intense. Sometimes I get my ass kicked because I have to lose parts of myself to make room for growth.

My birthday is coming so I decided to begin working with Nemamiah. I was guided to obtain a beautiful, delicate #garnet ring to dedicate to this practice. Almost immediately after I purchased the ring, my day shifted .

I have a new perspective on #karma now because I observed it happening around me to others while out to dinner.

I went home and got to work on organizing my room, knocking out laundry, watching Home Alone II and concentrating my ring + 3 stones I’ve been working with lately: #blackobsidian #bloodstone #redtigerseye and my #garnet ring.

In the middle of my meditation on the solistice during the snow storm, in my mind’s eye, I saw beings of fire and light walking in the storm in the middle of the street. They looked like people completely consumed in flames. It was a very powerful image.

The magick is thick and heavy this solstice season. #Saturn has definitely arrived on the back of Capricorn. I feel things are going to be very different very soon.

Urban Faery Magick by Tara Sanchez a Book Review

I didn’t really give much thought to the fae before this year. I had a few encounters camping when I was in my 20s, but the fae wasn’t something I was looking for.

Last year, I moved into a spiritual center and started picking up strange tracers of light, orbs and even a glowing object that looked like it had wings on the security cameras. There were also a few “ghost” incidents and the building has a reputation for being haunted. My partner and I investigated strange incidents but never came up with anything to nail down.

Then one day while watering a plant, I thought I heard a small voice say “thank you” and I realized we must have faeries! So my partner picked up this book for us. It’s given me a new outlook on “the unexplained” and “hauntings”. We’ve been working through the exercises together and although my understanding of the fae is new, it’s fascinating and this is a good intro book to the idea of those spirits that aren’t deceased but not divine either.

The only critique I have is that this is very English and keeps a very English outlook on the topic. I would like to add that while living in the US as a descendant of colonizers, I would suggest those in the US to consider that some of the “fae” on this land are tied to Indigenous spirits and shouldn’t be whitewashed with European lore (although colonizers did also bring their fae with them).

Overall a wonderful into to getting to know the fae in an urban environment.

Angel of the Day: Lacabel

I’m working on my time management because I work WAY TOO MUCH. Because of this, I have piles of unfinished projects — my graphic novel project, a book I’m writing, getting classes together I want to teach, working on my Etsy — there’s just so much to do! I also just received a promotion in the Martinist Order to an Officer position so there is a lot on my plate! My business coach has asked me to write my ideal schedule.

The truth is, I have 3 jobs and I am dedicating too much time with no recognition to one. So I will be cutting over time at the job where I don’t get appreciation, recognization or paid for going above and beyond. I’m need to make time for what is important for ME. So I’m starting by drawing some hard boundaries with my job. Lacabel helps resolve professional issues so I think with this angel on my side, I’ll be able to make changes that reflect the time worked vs. appropriate level of dedication. Lolzzz it’s hilarious that working with this angel and God name inspired me to quietly quit (i.e. not put in over time and work only agreed hours).

Lecabel works with the God name לכב (also means to finish what you start).

Say it out loud

I used to say that I was going to open a shop in an old church and live in it too. Didn’t know how it would happen but I trusted it would come together. Then about a year ago I started living and working at a spiritualist church that has been a church for over 100. I’m now working towards opening a metaphysical shop here.

The night before last I dreamed my shop was open and people were lounging, reading books, sharing ideas and making purchases. All my friends were there and it was my dream of a philosophers’ corner: where we could safely be ourselves and explore ideas. As a Rosicrucian, this is my vision I hold in my mind and I am very close.

I manifested a Victorian Mansion/Church for $425 a month so it’s possible. Say what you want outloud enough and it finds you.
