これは双子の炎の意味ですか？

It’s taken some adjusting to embracing the reality of having found my Twin Flame. When a lot of people think of Twin Flames, they think wedding bells and forever romance and screaming “I love you!” at the top of your lungs from a mountain top.

And those thoughts aren’t wrong … they’re just one part of what having a Twin Flame relationship means for some people …

And so my Twin Flame journey continues…

Hi My Twin and I took some space in July. He told me the whole thing was too much. I agreed. And we spoke of other matters of the heart. I didn’t know hearing something that I waited 20 years to hear would break my heart like that.

He took off running. I didn’t chase. I gave myself time to process my feelings. I focused on giving myself compassion and space to mourn and heal.

And when I finished having compassion for myself, I was ready to extend it to my Twin from a distance. And I let go of a lot of old hurt that I gripped like a hot coal burning my hand.

I decided to stop being angry and let myself move forward by letting go of the past. Part of the reason we’ve been so back and forth is because I was holding onto anger and using it as a shield. I was afraid to let him close to me again. But I realized that was the wrong approach.

I decided to release my anger.

It was easier than I thought once I convinced myself the feeling didn’t have a purpose. So I made an agreement with myself to act with compassion the next time My Twin and I spoke.

And then after that came the repeating 2s. Everywhere I looked there were 22s and 222s. I sensed my Twin was going to contact me.

During the space, I dreamed about my Twin twice. The first time I dreamed I was giving him the third degree for how much he hurt me when he started running. He contacted me IRL and I sent him a snarky song because I wasn’t ready to talk.

The 2nd dream was our deceased friend called us to scolded us for being mean to each other.

Yesterday My Twin got in touch. I told him about the dream and he said he had a similar one. The magic was still there when we talked. By then end of the conversation I felt our friendship was renewed but u also felt that giddy, riding on cloud 9 dazed feeling settling in. It’s because the depths of our connection is bottomless and it makes my heart drunk and my mind dizzy.

Today I randomly I remembered a shodo painting I did a long time ago that hung in my Twin’s and mine living room in Japan over 10 years ago. It was 炎 – 2 signs for fire when put together means “blaze”. When I found a picture of my painting I wanted to laugh. I had no idea what Twin Flames are back then and yet I painted the characters and hung them over our couch. “Twin Flames? Right …” I laughed. I work in a call center so I see numbers all day and it was 22 and 222 all over the place again. To the point that I couldn’t ignore it.

So I pulled out a Tarot deck and drew a card: the holographic lovers card. The way the light hit the card, it made it look like Raphael had 2 heads — twin souls again.

That was proof enough to me some big news was coming. I wondered what deserved such a loud premonition.

I pulled more cards: The Lovers, The Star and Justice

Then my Twin told me something that rocked my world and knocked the wind out of me. Everything is too abstract to bet on anything right now.

But I feel very 7 of Cups …

A Secret Hidden in the Ace of Swords

I learned something new while creating this version of the #AceOfSwords for the predictions in the upcoming issue of Magdalena Tarot Magazine. The Hebrew name of god ייי appears twice, once above and once below. This name of god, when used in meditation or chanted, is thought to remove negativity from your life. The number 3 in numerology represents 2 becoming one and 3 is a reduced version of the number 6. 6 represents the joining of “masculine” and “feminine” principals to create. Since this card represents the spark of all the air ruled attributes like communication, creativity and matters of the intellect, it’s interesting that ייי appears here, perhaps as a way of removing negativity from our thoughts and actions as we begin the journey through the suit of swords.

Bringing Back the Old Tyme Tarot Deck

I’m so excited to be bringing back the The Old Tyme Tarot to Magdalena Tarot Magazine’s predictions! For those of you who don’t know, The Old Tyme Tarot is a deck I’m designing by collaging vintage and antique photos and illustrations from my personal collection. All of the work is in the public domain that I use. This card I created is my version of the Strength card. I used the leopard print clad pinup girl to show that the maiden and the lion are one. I have more cards to share in this up coming issue of Magdalena Tarot Magazine Issue 4: The Emperor due out when the sun enters Virgo! Don’t miss it!

3 Card Reading

I was looking at he art for Where There is No Night so far and realized I have 3 released Tarot cards. Seariliazing they story in Magdalena Tarot Magazine monthly has been cool because there are people who read the magazine for the story and that is great for building a fan following.

So I officially have a 3 card reading to summarize the 3 chapters I’ve released so far.

It hit me how right it feels that I’m story boarding with tarot cards. The plan is to make a full graphic novel trilogy and this is the start of manifesting my dream.

Here’s a little about the story: Sex, drugs, music and the Apocalypse. In 2035 angels and demons face off to win control of the last days. Their weapons of choice, music and magic.

Late Summer Feels

From the 2021 Llewellyn Daily Planner. Sometimes I ink the art for fun when I’m doodling in in my Llewelyn planner at my day job.

This is a picture I colored that makes me wish I had a black light! It captures how I feel as summer’s end draws near. I used Neon gel pens and illustration marker. The sky is smoky from the fires west of Colorado. It lights up the sky in neon colors at sunset and turns everything burning tangerine. My friends and I run around in our cute 90s outfits but it feels like the beginning of Scream and we’re about to go to the party.

I’m keeping my meditation routine solid and it’s helped tremendously. It’s helped me keep a level head as the sick neon orange sunsets set the smoke and the fog on fire.

Life has just been so intense lately. The future is coming so loudly right now. My Twin flame asked me if the world was ending would, I have any regrets. I told him not marrying him when we went to Guam years ago. I said it like a joke but I was serious.

My Twin and I have taken space because with the way things are going, who knows if we’ll ever see each other again? But I’m glad we’re healing our friendship

I’ve taken a break from reading the news and have decided to focus on myself and my friendships and my dreams because finding joy in times like these is important I’ve found. So I’ve been lovingly working on the predictions for the next issue of Magdalena Tarot Magazine listening to inspiring music.

I’ve been feeling a career change coming even stronger this Leo season as Magdalena Tarot Magazine made it to #2 in New Age Divination with Tarot in the free Kindle shop this month. I’m starting to look into Virgo season and getting the next issue Issue 4: The Emperor into a cohesive format and plan the art for Issue 5: The Hierophant.

As summer’s end draws nearer, I’m looking back on the success of the first 4 issues of Magdalena Tarot Magazine with gratitude and feeling optimistic about future growth. I’m thinking in addition to grants, I need to start selling advertising space. Get in touch if you’d like to talk with me about purchasing a space to advertise your business! I also would like to get the print on demand option figured out because I would love to hold a copy of my magazine and I think other faithful readers would too.

Going into fall I see visions of how to grow my business but it’s up to me to overcome my habits of limitation. But I feel a big change is coming soon if I just stay the course.

New Moon in Leo Magick

Last night I got down to work on my Leo altar. I followed the formula for how I created the Strength altar a few years ago.

I noticed I’d forgotten the goblet of Kosher wine I offered for the last full moon on the altar. It congealed and looked a lot like blood. I decided to bless it and use it as “ceremonial blood” since I’m not into animal sacrifice lol. I was raised Catholic so wine works just fine for blood.

At the same time, I started playing around with the formula for building #TheHangedManTarotCard. I built a circle out of my runes on my desk and placed an inverted cross in the middle because that’s as close as I could find around the house to Odín on the tree of life. I began to contemplate and meditate on the card so I can work on the formula for the Hanged Man card. I like to have things ready in advance.

I’m in a Runes study group and we talked about how blood is recommended to bless your runes. A conversation started about how you can prick your finger or use menstrual blood. I didn’t really find either to be appealing so I was thrilled to make this connection about the “wine turning to blood”. The theme of resurrection is perfect for Leo because the sun represents the tripe god, so I think the insights will be illuminated.

This afternoon I broke my mini altar down and dropped all my rune stones in the “blood”. Then I set it with some plants that I’m thinking about using in my altar. I’ll leave the stones in the chalice until full moon and see what happens.
