Six Sentence Sunday: Destiny’s Prerogative #1
Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there! Relax and enjoy a book on me. For today only- Destiny's Prerogative is free at Amazon. Enjoy!!
********************************************************************************************
Destiny's Prerogative is a shifter romance/suspense.
Two very important changes happen in a were’s life: once around puberty when they shift for the first time and another when they turn thirty and must pick a mate. Without doing so, the were could die. Gabriel’s gallant nature would never allow him to take a mate by force; it must be her choice. Due to the dwindling numbers of were’s, the mate must be human and be changed into a were upon mating – that is, if she survives.
Since Gabriel won't chose a mate because of his gallant nature, his brothers take it upon themselves to choose the woman for him. Shay works at the animal preserve and the brothers convince her they've captured a jaguar. Shay believes she's there to look at this wild cat, but when they lock her in a room, she's realizes a jaguar is the least of her problems.
In this scene, Shay realizes she's not alone.
Six Sentence Sunday: Destiny's Prerogative #1
Shay heard movement to the left of her and her gaze darted in the direction, half expecting a cat crouched and ready to spring. Her eyes widened and she gasped. “My God, what is going on?”
A man with dark hair that barely brushed his shoulders, moved from the shadows. Her mouth dropped opened. He stood there in all his natural glory, an Adonis ready to be viewed.

“You don’t scare me.”
