The City for life
In Firokami, a district equalization program is currently underway. The goal is to eliminate "dangerous" and distinctly "safe" areas within the City; instead, all areas should be comfortable for living. Firokami is known for its thematic areas rich in cultural codes, celebrating multicultural diversity. Asian, Eastern, Northern lifestyles—Firokami dedicates areas to preserve authenticity. However, it is vigilant in ensuring that districts do not become autonomous principalities within the City. Neither the authorities—the service responsible for protecting the populace and enforcing the rule of law—nor the townspeople are hesitant to venture into any area. Any attempts to dominate a part of the city by someone bold and reckless are met with eviction from Firokami or, in extreme cases, relocation into sexual slavery to willing coryphaei. The City is ruthless. Indifferent. The freedom of diversity is upheld by the harsh suppression of any attempts to disrupt the balance. Those who disagree with the City's ways are free to approach the Authorities and request relocation outside of Firokami, at the City's expense. Despite its harshness, residents and visitors prefer Firokami to the conventional world. With his (the City is he) technology, opportunities, and a non-totalitarian approach to self-expression—as long as one's freedom does not infringe upon the freedoms of others—life in Firokami is deemed far more appealing than anywhere else.

I've begun reading "Svet vi ochakva" by Plamen Dikov. Based on the annotation, it appears to be the organized story of the Vivian girls by Darger, complete with the author's own illustrations, as well, by the way.
I sincerely hope (and wish!) that Plamen achieves success during his lifetime, unlike Darger.

Mother Bulgaria
We are embarking on a new project inspired by an international concert.
The event showcased various groups, many of which did not perform up to par. Nevertheless, the Bulgarians were exceptionally kind and supportive, reminiscent of a mother whose children have matured, moved out, and lived independently for years, yet still show some goofy. But she remains hopeful that they will improve; they just need a bit of encouragement.
I have often heard Bulgarians say that everything is more orderly and superior abroad. From my extensive travels, I can say that's not entirely true. Daily challenges are universal, but it's uncommon to find a country as warm-hearted towards their citizens as Bulgaria. For instance, Bulgaria does not have political prisoners, a situation quite rare compared to most other countries!
This is why we've decided to heed Mother Bulgaria's responses to various assertions and share them with you.
We're uncertain if we'll manage to create and print enough comics in time for the literary project beginning on March 21st. However, even if we don't meet the deadline, you will still be able to view them on our page.
Below are some preliminary sketches to give you a glimpse of the style and concept. We plan to refine the characters and infuse them with a range of emotions.

In one group people asked, what inspired titles of your books?
As for me, there are always two titles - the first one emerges while I'm writing, representing the main idea or an important phrase from the book. However, as I approach the end, the book reveals its true name to me. In my literary life, it's characters narrate their own story, and the book itself selects its title. I am just a scriber, capturing all of this in a literary style, illuminating every corner of the tale.

14. A song that everyone likes except you.
Almost any one that everyone likes will be there except me.
I rarely like the song that comes from all the irons. I probably stopped keeping up with “everyone” in 1997. Somehow, before this I liked all the popular ones. Well, they didn't piss me off, at least. But how they shot “My Baby” in 98 (it's Russian one), that’s all. Then, of course, I returned to the “formation”, about 2007, at least for one song. But after Mika’s Relax, I didn’t go back for any of them)) I found music for my playlist differently.
I feel the same way with all promoted creativity. And with music, and with actors, and with books.
That’s why, when my friend Lex and I are discussing politics and he tells me about the advantages of direct democracy, I don’t see these advantages and I don’t want to live in a society of the majority. Because, damn it, most people are stupid and uneducated. I so rarely coincide with the majority in something, that these coincidences can be attributed to a statistical error (I, of course, just think that the majority, when they coincide with me, are simply not completely stupid, and this is how it manifests itself. People - they are good, that's for sure. But just somewhere very deep inside.)
And the majority does not take into account the minority, always, and there are a lot of them, the minorities, they are just different, and if we take these minority groups separatedly they are small. And we need a supersystem that would regulate life so that everyone feels comfortable. And these small groups too. Then the world will be such that you will want to live in it.

I check my surroundings periodically to see if I have offended someone unfairly, or if I should apologize to someone. But for the moment it seems to be no such thing.

Local? From the physical? Well, grandfather. I have a grandfather, a boy-king, like Daniil Strakhov and Igor Kvasha. A man who aroused unbridled tenderness in me. A very handsome man. Bolshevik. Who said in the 90s, with a contemptuous grimace: this won’t last long, this mold will go away, well, people can’t help but see how wretched this path is, they will understand, they will throw off this rubbish. People cannot, after everything, after what they have won, agree to this shit.
