474

The creative challenge of the day for the game #I_am_here_eternity. You have the freedom to join the game (and quit it) whenever you want. Follow your curiosity and do the tasks that spark your interest. And those that you don't like - ignore them. The reward of the game (with consistent and diligent effort (and practice) of tasks) - a richer and happier life.
474. Found a flashmob-questionnaire. Seems pretty good. Well, kind of, in what way it's not bad, it has good questions for learning about ourselves and recognizing us by "ours". And that's the only reason we yell about ourselves in public. Otherwise, we'd just write all in Wordfile and put it in a desk.
So I will take the questionnaire, answer it myself, so that you can see that it is not scary, and maybe even interesting, and you can join me. Well, if you do not want to answer openly, answer these questions at least to yourself. Still for good.

This is on Dybr (at first I wanted to write by habit: on our Dybr. But after the installing the rules, no, not ours. Just on Dybr) there are flash mobs community, there are all sorts of funny things. Sometimes ship.
There's a lot of questions, I'll post a few at a time.

1. How did you come up with your nickname? Why that particular nickname?
2. What is your motto in life?
3. Your best friend. What associations do you have with him/her?
4. To be your friend, what qualities do you need to have?
5. Your hobbies.

My answers are in the next post. There will be a couple more questions in my answers, but they are about Dybr, so I removed them from the general assignment.

Road

Very short story
Road
"Hey, is this the road to the temple?"
I ask, but I wonder if it would be better to punch him in the face, he'd tell me at once. No, seriously, he’s obviously stupid. He’s sitting in the middle of the road, not thinking a damn thing, and there’s no one else to ask.
And fog is around.
"Huh?"
"What do you mean by “huh”? Is this the road to the temple or not, I asked you. Are you a deaf?"
"Ugh…"
"Do you hear what I’m saying?"
He keeps silent. He gazes.
"Do you hear what I’m saying?"
"Ugh."
I don't want to repeat it myself.
I walk up and kick his knee with the toe of my shoe. Not too hard, but it usually works.
No reaction. Fine, let us talk. I am in no hurry.
"So?" I mimic him. Law of reflection, hehe.
"What do you mean by "so"?"
Look at this. He is not deaf.
"I asked: is this road to the temple?"
He slowly turns his head and looks into the distance. For a long time. And for what? It is foggy - you cannot see a thing.
"So?" I'm starting to lose patience.
"Huh…"
"So?!"
There is fear in his eyes. Well, yes, I would feel it in his place. He looks at my plaque, oak tree. I cleaned it this morning. Still, I am going to church.
"I am asking for the last time! Is this the road to the temple? This one?"
"Uh…"
"Yes or no?!"
"Well, yes."
I spit at his feet. Asshole. As if he could not say it right away. They are all like that. All of them.
Maybe should I punch him? Oh no, I do not want to get dirtier.
I turn my back on the idiot and walk into the fog. You can't see a damn thing. Gray. Humid. They say it's always like this here. Well, at least the road is normal, there is asphalt here. Smooth, you won't trip. Not like in that hole... Okay, I need to go.
Somewhere behind me a voice suddenly sounds. Oh no... this sheep. He is bleating something. Is he asking for alms? There are many of these around the temple. Screw you. Go to work. Or serve - get a gun and go.
"Hey!"
I don't turn around. There are no fools here.
"Actually, when someone goes to the temple, he always knows the way. He knows what he wants. And then any road leads to the temple. Do you understand?"
Now he is talking, yeah. Not “well”, or “huh”. Just wait, buddy, we'll meet again on my way back.
"And those, who don’t know the way to the temple, end up on the road to hell. Always."
Oh yeah, of course. You didn't get your penny, now you stink.
Oh shit! What, what?! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaay! I am falli… Help… oh my Lord...

the 1st day of Spring

"So, I've taught you what I could, now you're on your own," said February, picking up the snow crystal.
"How can I be on my own?" Spring was frightened.
"Don't be afraid, March will help you" smiled February, stepping into the sparkling frosty entrance.

really fun and witty news

I think, it's really fun and witty news! Do you remember about the fire in Notre-Damme? In this april it will be opened, after recovering. And they instead a rooster on the top will put Phoenix!

It's a miracle!

Today I received a message from George S. Clason. He claimed he was real! Yes, ever since I joined writer groups on fb, I have been getting many messages from fake-famous writers (of course, all popular authors would write to unknown writers to recommend a freelance promoter from Africa), but this is the first one from a dead one!

How did we ruin the world so much that even fraudsters are so stupid? Fraudsters! I mean, fraudsters are supposed to be the smartest and slyest people who can deceive others... but for the last decade I have been corresponding with scammers, and I don't even know how they afford food at all.

Sadness and sorrow

Lars von Trier has Parkinson's. I won't wait down for the last movie of the trilogy.

I love Dogville, I love Manderlay even more. And I have been waiting about 20 years for the final installment of the trilogy. I don't really like for the rest of Trier's films (although Kingdom was cool too), and they aren't close to me, but these two are in my little top of favorite films.

Yes, I am consumeristic towards creative persons, whom I don't know personally, just as they are towards me. Even towards the ones I'm sympathetic to. I like Trier as a human being.
But I think that the world's loss of such people (who create a good narrative impoverishes the world) makes it worse, and the world's not good enough as it is.
I mean, it's better for him, purely humanly speaking, to get out of here, even if it's into a new body trap, but young and healthy. It's just that...uh... the support of all these Martin-Rowlings will keep a talented young soul out people sight and we won't hear from him. He'll be somewhere in the lower pages of amazon or self-publishing resources. Alas. It's Kali-yuga.

why

I join all sorts of groups on fb, some of them private, and the ones that are private, they do a mini interview. There's a few questions and you have to click agree to the rules. Of course, how could they not have rules, the janitor's syndrome, it's not for nothing that they made their grouppy, they have to set up their own. The rules of all these groups are the same and converge with the policy of the resource. You know, like, be polite.
Well, and here, there is a rule, and sometimes it is not in the list of rules, but you have to write with your hands the answer - yes.

So there's a rule: you can't ban admins.
...there's some the coolest story behind that rule, right?
I want to know!
What's it like? You come to the group, and you think, "This douche is annoying," and you ban the admin? And you continue to sit in the group? Well, that's how the admin has to bother a user to ban him? Why a user does not leave the group, if the administrator pisses him off? Well, we diccussed it with my family, what for it can be: you ban the admin, put a crap in the group, and admin does not see. But you're gonna get complaints from other users. It's like, if you break a rule, you'll be thrown out. That is, there are moderators, they will say, this man is crazy, users complain about him, admin will say: I do not see, he banned me. Moderator: okay, I'll throw him out.
And so? What is any profit to ban admin? 0_0
It's weird. A weird action. And a weird rule. Any person who wants to put a crap into the group will say: I will not ban admins and still will do that! How this rule can help?!
So many questions...

why

I've got a question in a writing group, I take as serious one.
What helps you to keep writing when you get discouraged?

Characters. I write, in the first turn, for them, to tell their story, so I am always couraged by them. Actually, this is my criteria - if I write good, when I feel relief of characters, each of them, I know, I've done my work well.
And I know, I am not unique, so there many people like me, who like the same as me, they are my readers and they wait for my books. I look for them, but they look for me too. Always. As I look for my writers as well. Always.

...and I have supporting family...

Welcome to read me, maybe we look for each other!

the thread

ok, my friend Scott Nickolay started a thread. It's like flashmob, but from a spider.
NEW THREAD: Share a SHORT NOVEL that you feel deserves MORE RECOGNITION…short novels ONLY, not novellas, novelettes, or full-length novellas.

I share short novels of Pavel Amnuel. It's the best sci-fi in the world. It's for clever ones, and it's pure science in fiction form. And why it's the best stories - reading them you stop to afraid of tomorrow. Because you feel and know that you are part of Eternety. Well, the request in the thread is short novel, not novels, so I share my favorite and the first I've read from him, this is "And the voice came to my ears". But you can choose any of his short novels.
