From: Let the gardener tell about his, and me about mine. You know, there is such parable. One writer had a gardener, and once the gardener said: "Here is an idea came to my mind, maybe, it’s useful to you" and told the remarkable idea for a novel. The writer was delighted and said: "It’s a remarkable idea, write down it, and you will become a writer!" the gardener answered: "I am not a writer, I am a gardener. There’s no need for me. You are a writer — you write, you’ll turn it out to be better and more beautiful". The writer said: "Well, thank you, how can I thank you for it back? Oh, you know what, hold this bit of a tasty apple, there are a lot of seeds, I don’t need them, but you will grow up a wonderful apple garden". And they parted, happy with each other. Everyone should do what can best of all.

The truth doesn’t disappear anywhere and lives under its laws. But lie disappears when the truth is cleaned. All vanity is directed to hide it, to distort from it, not to look at it. And, of course, to suffer.

I wrote this book because I met people, whom I helped with thoughts, which I put into this book. It was when I worked as a psychologist.
All stories in it are real. Just heroes have their prototypes, but not wholly are wrote from real people. Hopefully, this book will make your life brighter and happier!

So, we have finished our project, and we hope, now, it's a good start for this book, and for you, my dear readers. I strongly recommend it. This book is poetry about life. In English and Russian.

Я познакомился с Заком, прочитав его эссе, когда переводил книгу Эндрю Ваксса "Пересадка сердца". У нас с ним одно образование - психологическое, а я невысокого, обычно, мнения о коллегах. Но эссе было профессиональным, грамотным и, главное, полезным в прикладном плане. И очень интеллектуальным. Знаете, есть такие люди интеллектуального изящества. Это Зак Муча. Дальше Зак подарил мне свою книгу - "Эмоциональное насилие: руководство по самоообороне", удивительно полезная и красивая книга. На момент написания этого вступительного слова к сборнику лирики, книга находится в процессе перевода, но я надеюсь, что этот сборник будут держать в руках читатели того времени, когда смогут найти и полный изданный перевод Руководства.
У нас с Заком была, такая, безусловная приязнь малознакомых людей. Друзья Эндрю. Зак работает на той же ниве, что и Эндрю, я - перевожу труды Эндрю на русский. И вот, Зак выложил свое стихотворение в Интернет - "О, везет", посвященное иллюзионисту старой школы Рики Джею. У меня выдалось свободное время и я перевел его на русский. Заку это понравилось, он спросил, не возьмусь ли я за сборник его поэтической лирики. Как видите, раз вы это читаете, я взялся.
Я не буду говорить про сложность перевода лирики, про это нытье просто скучно читать! Скажу про сам сборник. Работа Зака заключается в помощи травмированным людям. Вместе с Эндрю (да и я с ними не стану спорить), они пытаются донести до социума идею, что хоть и не каждый травмированный ребенок вырастает преступником, но каждый преступник - травмированный ребенок. Работа с этими травмами, у взрослых и детей, - профессия Зака.
Сборник - яркий срез американского социума. Здесь американские отсылки, американская история, американские эмоциональные заряды. Но в нашем обществе причины травм те же - пусть другие имена, пусть не Майкл Джордан, а Децл, не церковные приюты, а детдома. Но суть одна. Может, прочитав, вы удивитесь, насколько в психологическом плане мы похожи, а не различны, как привыкли нас уверять с экранов телевизора и с мониторов компьютеров. Популярный современный стиль американской поэзии сейчас верлибр. Верлибр - свободный стих, не имеет размера, ритма, рифмы, и только выглядит, как стих. Это очень непривычно для русского восприятия. Поэтому, я перевел часть стихотворений белым стихом. Но потом, мы обсудили это с Заком, и он сказал, что хотел бы сохранить верлибр. Поэтому два стихотворения в сборнике (самые большие, я решил, так будет особенно показательно для понимания, тех, кто ранее не сталкивался с этим стилем) - Апофения и Составной скетч со многими очевидцами переведены чистым верлибром. Так же, решено в русском издании оставить оригиналы стихотворений. В этой работе мы попытались учесть все вкусы интеллектуального читателя - вы всегда сможете сравнить перевод с оригиналом, если хотите вникнуть в мысль автора глубже; вы сможете прочитать стихотворения в знакомом русском ритме, легко запомнив понравившиеся строки; и вы сможете прочитать стихотворения в современном стиле англоязычной (несмотря на то, что ver libre французское выражение, стиль особенно полюбился в англоговорящих странах) поэзии, но на родном языке. Наслаждайтесь. И пусть ваша жизнь станет понятнее и лучше.

My kind boss\my naive secretary

well, I added the first chapter of My kind boss\my naive secretary. It's supposed will be funny, ironical, psychological serie.
I invented this project when I was taking a course of screenwriting. But, I guess, this book won't ever be filmed. Because I have the firmed condition for casting)) So, each book is always free from stupid capitalistic and illiterate opinion of channels, producers, and so on. Characters in any books are always fit well. So, enjoy. Hope, you will love it, and it will be useful for you))

well, I am not long ago here, and you don't know me. I wrote in Russian, but as I am a polyglot, I can easily write in English. But it's a hard work to translate a writing from Russian. But, I am proud of all my projects (and, I believe, it should be so), and I want to share them with the world.
