Devils of the still waters.

Today we had a book club meeting. Topic: Author of only one book. Well, this is both about authors who wrote one book in total, and about those who wrote a book that eclipsed the rest of the author’s works.
Of course, I love such meetings more than those, where we discuss one book. Because such meetings are always psychologically more positive. At a themed meeting people talk about their favorite books, but at one-book meetings, there will often be two sides. And I really don’t like it. Even on the same side there is something to argue about.
Below is a list of the books mentioned and my undoubtly important opinion about them. For those, who read in Russian.
Sorry, I didn't translate it yet.

The main post-report, the last three links are in it, by the way.

Opinion on Henry Darger
https://albireo-mkg.com/2024/03/12/da...

Personal pain because of the Zen book and motorcycle care. Come on, read it, and come support me, like, nope, nope, you aren't like that. Kinda stuff.

A book that I read for the club meeting, but what I didn’t tell about. And why.

#cheerful_people

#family_walkings_out, it's probably time to tag #cheerful_people, I think. I even said today whether it’s time to rename the group “Your Gala is Pampered” to Cheerful People. Because we are not very pampered anymore, this is our sixth year in Europe, you can’t be pampered here.

Today we went to a meeting with Varna illustrators, at the Campus, this is a creative space in the hotel, where all sorts of conferences are held and stuff like that. It's a beautiful building, we like it.
The meeting was cozy, the hostess was very nice. Well, we got acquainted with everyone, and it was so pleasant to meet Elena Mladova - a writer with whom we are already friends - I wrote reviews of her The Adventures of Averkov, who lives by the sea and Stories from the Navel of the Earth.
We also met the writer Plamen Dikov, took his book - youth fantasy The world is waiting for you (Svetyt vi ochakva).
In about a month we have a meeting at the Bulgarian book club, I hope that I will have time to read it down and tell about it.
Yes, I am a writer, but my co-author Marik is an illustrator, and Ol is a designer with her own creative projects - as part of her project is my creative online game #Hi_from_reality you can see creative task of it every Monday. Also she has two sub-projects - #hi_from_fantasy and #hi_from_around
Marik now is busy illustrating Carbon, by my beloved comrade Andrew Vachss, he is turning it into a full graphic novel. It will be in Russian, and we will make up an English version too. Andrew wanted it, so we'd do it.
I am thinking really hard about the translation at least my short stories into Bulgarian. But now, I am preparing some project for a big Literary Project in Varna - Literature and comics.

My answers to questions 475 tasks of the game #I_am_here_eternity

My answers to questions 475 tasks of the game #I_am_here_eternity

9.Which dead person would you like to talk to? Why?

I talk to those "dead" to whom I really have something to say. Because there is no death.
Actually, I understand that this is just about someone to chat with, but if we talk from the point of view of usefulness, then with Ron Hubbard. I would have confessed that I am a lazy fool and asked him to free us. Otherwise, there is no point in talking to the dead.
Well, to ask Putin why he didn't think that Kovalchuk would kill him? Why didn't he build the team? Why did he think that he could handle it alone? What's the point? He hasn't done it already. With the Soviet Bolsheviks - I can talk to them personally in the Eternal USSR. And with other dead people I'm not interested in chatting.

I would talk to the living, to the living, to Yurochka Kovalchuk, to Gundyaev, the UN Secretary General, to whoever is the Chairman of the European Union, to the American Kovalchuk (I don't know who runs the show in America. Please go to hell with your Rockefellers-Rothschilds, it's not they are, maybe just partly, like Usmanov in Russia). Why do they have something so crazy in their heads, why are they so hostile and embittered? They already have all the money in the world. I would like to talk to Zelensky, with Zukerberg. But they all have no time to talk. They are busy with nonsense. For which they will definitely be ashamed later. Not in this life, but it will happen. Then we'll talk.
So, there is no point in talking to the dead - they are gone. Talk to living ones!

a privilege to be a Firokamian

#Hi_from_reality
Art&concept by Ol Albireo
Feel free to write your stories and name arts.
You also can do not only write, but draw, sing, create music and sculptures, translate into other languages you learn for practicing (and never simplify text when you translate it!). Show us that you did.

It's a privilege to be a Firokamian.

"There is a joyful revival on the Lookout! A few minutes until launch!" - Shesha Svarat’s tone encouraged an endorphin explosion.

Channel "Faster!" got access to the launch itself, so their journalist had a great view.
Firokami was launching another satellite. Another innovation. Another breakthrough. A lot of the word “another”, right? Well, ordinary thing for Firokami. Another thing, I would say.
This satellite covered an area where our receivers were not.
The long-ago, now long-standing, kidnapping of Alk, then still Space, gave Firokami a good scare. And although everything ended beautifully, in Firokami style, even romantically, the City began to think about how to protect its citizens there, outside, in the wild underdeveloped world. After this, they found a way to implant a shocker into the body, after this the microchipping of Firokami residents began.
Yes, I know, this is your greatest fear now, a government that can find its citizen - what could be more terrible in your countries and in your time? In our time, by the way, despite the fact that I am writing to you centuries later... or rather, the author is writing it down now, but I am dictating to you centuries later, the world continues to be afraid of microchipping. Probably it's justified. If I lived outside of Firokami, I would be afraid too. But for us it is a privilege. Firokami does not force anyone to be chipped, of course. People go on their own. Because Firokami is not hostile to its citizens. Ruthless - yes, but not hostile. The only reason Firokami might need to find a person is to help them. Or ask for help. We catch criminals differently.
Eric and I watched the launch of Satellite-27 on the broadcast. I didn't go to the launch, I don't like crowds. By the way, it’s nice to meet you who started reading from this note, my name is Amiy Lutherna. I am a cosmopsychologist, and I developed part of the Satellite cognitive behavioral program. The latter has an updated version 27. It is able to detect not only the subtlest signal from a gadget or chip. By the way, the signals themselves are amplified by the jammers used in the rest of the world. But this is not the innovation. The new satellite has been loaded with a telemetry database from Firokami residents. That is, the satellite, in its coverage area, is capable of finding a resident of the City, identifying them using many parameters and transmitting their location to the base in Firokami. Another surprise for the world. Another privilege to be a Firokamian.

475 answers

My answers to 475th task of the game #I_am_here_eternity
8. Tell about your parents

Biological ones? My mother was erudite, spectacular, very unhappy, traumatized and toxic. This one, I don’t know what to call her, was one of the red-haired girls. She was alcoholic, and died because of it. My dad is the Wind, vulnerable, kind, charming, cheerful, erudite, well-read, underestimated by the women with whom he lived and lives. We have a very good relationship with dad. I have what is called a supportive father. He always supports my every path.
I also had a Soviet mother. This is a metaphysical being, something like a voice from a beautiful distance. Not all children had her, but now I meet people who also had this metaphysical Soviet mother. She had a stern voice, she smelled of sun, strict freshness and concrete. She was the one who taught me the moral code, she told me what an adult should tell a child. A teacher-checkist, ruthless, shining with a white diamond radiance, yeah, with a cold head, clean hands and a hot heart (it's the phrase of the first chekist - Feliz Dzerjinskiy: checkist must have a cold head, clean hands and a hot heart. Checkist (more accurate to write chekist, but I love wordplay that it's from to check.) because it's from cheh-kah (urgency committee). She was sarcastic and ironical, as I like, when I didn’t mess up, and starry-stern when I did. I even vaguely saw and can remember her appearance. In my head. She was the one who shamed me for cowardice and turning away from the Road of goodness, something like the voice of conscience, not just reproaching, but clarifying. And sometimes just telling me something. Such a real adult, but metaphysical. I don’t know why I was so lucky, but I’m very glad that I had such a mother. At first I didn’t note her at all, I just thought that, well, the biological mother told me something or the teacher at school. And then, stunned, I realized that no, these conversations, they were in another place, with another woman, it was unclear when and where, although I remembered the place and everything around so clearly. And when the USSR closed the gates, she left too. With them. To teach those who were taken.
Well, my real “mother”, my real creator, practically a symbol of the foremother. When girls get caught up in all sorts of pagan-witches, “bitches,” strong-independent or tragic-mysterious ones, they are just cosplay her. It’s not worth it, it won’t lead to anything good, but she’s very beautiful, so I can understand them. Of course, it's understandable wanting to monkey around with something beautiful.
I answered her call. Like, I need to help this beautiful, unhappy woman!
Why she cut herself to the quick, she could cut nothing that way!

This is my idea of creation.
…From then on, I’ve been helping beautiful, unhappy women of all genders. Sometimes it a help to cut themselves.

475

The creative challenge of the day for the game #I_am_here_eternity. You have the freedom to join the game (and quit it) whenever you want. Follow your curiosity and do the tasks that spark your interest. And those that you don't like - ignore them. The reward of the game (with consistent and diligent effort (and practice) of tasks) - a richer and happier life.
475.The following questions for yourself. I remind you that you don’t have to publish your answers, just answer yourself.
1. Tell about your parents.
2. Which deceased person would you like to talk to? Why?
3. The person towards whom you feel guilty and want him to forgive you.
4. The person you tell everything to.
5. Tell about someone from your childhood.
6. A song stuck in your head.
7. A song that everyone likes except you.

my top. another one.

So, all love top-selections, like there are a hundred of my favorite songs %)). It's crazy, but okay, I understand why you are doing this, it's all for THE invisible observer embedded in your bios. If you had him, he would really be interested :)))
So, here is something cool. In general, I should have written this a long time ago, but somehow it just came to my mind. The most natural thing always comes to your head suddenly.

I will write about my favorite short stories by Pavel Amnuel. And why, of course. Because just stupid lists are of no interest to anyone. And to the observer, would you have one, too. He also would like to know the reasons, not the lists.

1. And a voice came to my ears...
This is the first story I read from Pasha, and it was then that I had an epiphany. Here. It. Finally. Sci-Fi for me. Scale, idea, presentation. Everything is my way.
2. 6 paintings. It was after this story that I understood what Hubbard’s postulate means - Time is possession. Before this, everything was vague.
3. Branches. And after that, the Everett's theory settled neatly into my head. It’s all about the branches are not solid, that we change branches all the time, who the observer is, how it even works. I don’t know if this story just became the finishing touch, like in that fairy tale where the man ate 12 buns, 1 cheesecake, got full, and decided that he had to eat the cheesecake right away, or if it laid out the base in my head. But it settled after it.
4. Purely Jewish murder. About where the creators of the phi-universe went away. It also fits in, how here everything works.
5. Guide. Almost sacred and personal story. Firstly, there is hope that I can find myself where I am a mathematician. And secondly, it’s about different streams of attention of one creature. How often do I see this!
6. And no one, but... oh you damn Heisenberg matrix!
7. Cone of life. Well, there is applied knowledge of how to use Everettics. The practice is dull, of course, but the principle works. I checked. I need apply it to the important things.
8. Only the intelligent are free. Beautiful. About reality. Terribly beautiful.
9. Triverse. Because all his other stories about quantum systems are sad.

I'll stop at 9. Otherwise, I'll just really start listing everything. Well, this is my personal top.
Do you have a personal top list of your favorite author? Or do your favorite authors write slower than you read?
You see, mine favorite writer started much earlier than I found him, so I still have something to read ^__^
I haven’t read everything from Pasha, but I’m in a constant process)))

Decision to come

#Hi_from_reality
Art&concept by Ol Albireo
Feel free to write your stories and name arts.
You also can do not only write, but draw, sing, create music and sculptures, translate into other languages you learn for practicing (and never simplify text when you translate it!). Show us that you did.

"Did my mother oppress anyone? If she did, then so did I. Do I have only a week or two to live?" She asked.
"Don't you know that?" Katana pulled Ito a little away from him to look at her. "Don't you know about the village girls who were sold to the mountain settlements to prevent them from attacking the capital's supplies? Don't you know about her rejuvenation project for kan-dzirian women, that they had to wash with the tears of the healthiest girls, a series of that royal cosmetics called Crystal Tear? Don't you know about her support for your father's idea to build recreational parks for kan-zirians on fertile land, driving the zirians off to the lands where they couldn't feed themselves? And, as part of her aid, did she suggest that the pretty children of the poor should go to the seraglio for guests? That she introduced the fashion of living servants instead of inanimate waves?"
The Conqueror spoke softly and calmly, as usual. Only his black eyes seemed to be covered with a shining cover of ice. In front of Katana's eyes, lands lovingly cultivated by peasants were being fenced off, people were chased to nowhere. Gardens were no longer fruitful, but marvelous flowers grew everywhere, in parks for the rulers and the chosen ones. The royal family had nearly wiped out the swan totem tribe by selling several generations of children as concubines for the peace with the bandits living in the mountains. Outlaws who were the children of those impoverished peasants driven off their lands. The King and the Pleiad of the Phoenix tightly controlled magic and the Dzirovians, a nearly omnipotent life form, in terms of survival, were starving.

My answers to task 474 #I_am_here_eternity

My answers to task 474 #I_am_here_eternity

1. How did you come up with your nickname? Why exactly this one?

Then the three of us changed our family surnames to one - Albireo, a star of creative people, besides, it is beta Cygnus, and one of my psychotype totems is a swan, besides, this is a star system, and I am also a plural. Well, now I’m taking a family nickname - AlbireoMKG (my creative group Albireo, it's in German, so Kreative, not creative).
But you already know about this, I’ve told it hundreds times.

2. What is your life motto?

There are no fairy tales with unhappy endings. There are yet untold tales.
I took the same phrase as the company's slogan, but shortened it to - Happy-end happens. Always.

3. Your best friend. What associations do you have with him?

Mephis (you can read more about him in my book #Bottomles, it's in russian still, but in the process of the translation.) Huge absurd. Beauty. Spider.

4. To become your friend, what traits does one need to have?

Sincerity. The ability to confirm your beauty. Codependency skills. Lack of personal boundaries. In any situation, choosing me. I am a paranoid possessive maniac, to be my friend, you need to be the same possessive maniac. In general, all those traits that psychotherapists are now trying to level out, convincing people that this is bad. That neighborly relationship, without any conditions to each other, are healthy relationship.
So, guys, this is awesomely social, and is suitable at work, in the entrance, and in the store. But this is not a relationship at all.
Soviet poet Asadov has a poem A Word about Love. Well, those who know how to love according to Asadov are able to become my friend. And who... who are you contrasting with the Singer of Life as a real poet? Brodsky? Bryusov? Pasternak? Well, to friend and to love according to Brodsky, you won’t be able to.

5.Your hobby.

I collect stones (simple ones, from underfoot, beautiful, with pictures on them, or from different places), stamps, postcards, coins, banknotes, badges.
I'm also a writer - but it's not really a hobby; it's the only thing in the physical universe that doesn't piss me off.
