Israel Simulates Attack on Iran Nuclear Targets

The Israeli Air Force simulated an attack on Iranian nuclear targets with dozens of fighter jets over the Mediterranean Sea on Tuesday night, the Israeli military said.
The drill included “long-range flight, aerial refueling and striking distant targets,” the army said.
It came as experts warned Iran could build a few crude nuclear bombs in as little as three months.
The U.N. nuclear watchdog on Monday warned that Iran’s stockpile of enriched uranium has swelled to more than 18 times the limit stipulated in the Obama-led nuclear deal.

The drill against Iranian nuclear facilities was part of a larger, month-long exercise called  “Chariots of Fire” in Cyprus, simulating a multi-front war. The aim was to prepare the Israel Defense Forces for multi-arm combat scenarios in the air, at sea, on land and the cyber front against adversaries including the Iranian proxy terror group, Hezbollah.
Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz visited the joint military exercise, which was done in conjunction with Cyprus’ National Guard.

Bishop Who Barred Pelosi from Communion Gets Horrible News from the Vatican

Catholic Church has a long-standing opposition to abortion, and in fact to birth control as well.

Abortion is strictly forbidden by Catholics, but some Democrats have chosen to be at odds with their faith.

Liberals such as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and President Joe Biden who are pro-abortion and who call themselves Catholics are then caught in between their politics and their religion.

Leaders in the Catholic Church are taking a stance on this.

CDC Releases Ridiculous Warning on Monkeypox

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has just presented some next level stuff when it comes to traveling during the current monkeypox outbreak. The outbreak, which has already resulted in over 200 confirmed and over 100 suspected cases in over 20 different countries has prompted the CDC to move its travel advisory from Level 1 to Level 2. Level 2 is the “Alert” level, corresponding to “Practice Enhanced Precautions.” Level 1 was the “Watch” level, which simply meant “Practice Usual Precautions.”

The CDC has a total of three possible levels when it comes to monkeypox travel advisories. The highest level would be Level 3, which is the the “Warning” level and corresponds to “Avoid Nonessential Travel.” Clearly, like golf scores and the number of times a marmot hits you in the groin with a golf club, the higher the number, the worse things are. While Level 2 does not really restrict where you can travel, as the name of the level implies, it does mean that you should be alerted to practice some “enhanced precautions.”

What are these so-called enhanced precautions? Well, the CDC lists several things that travels should avoid. One is “Close contact with sick people, including those with skin lesions or genital lesions.” So, if you are in the habit of touching other people’s lesions while you are traveling, stop it. Of course, this is probably something that you should avoid doing at any time, even when you are not traveling and even when there isn’t a monkeypox outbreak.

Biden Does Not Support ‘Hardening Schools’ To Protect Children

Democrat President Joe Biden does not support “hardening schools” as a means of protecting children from mass shooters, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said on Monday.

The comments from Jean-Pierre come after an 18-year-old Latino male murdered 19 children at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, last week.

“I know there’s been conversation about hardening schools,” she said. “That is not something that he believes in. He believes that we should be able to give teachers the resources to be able to do the job that they’re meant to do at schools.”…

Study Destroys CDC’s Justification for School Masks

The Lancet, a world-renown medical journal, is out with a new study debunking a highly-cited CDC study that was used to support mask mandates in schools.Specifically, the study not only replicates the CDC study, which found a “negative association” between masks and pediatric cases of Covid-19, it also extends the study to include more districts over a longer period of time. In the end, the new study had nearly “six times as much data as the original study.”“Replicating the CDC study shows similar results; however, incorporating a larger sample and longer period showed no significant relationship between mask mandates and case rates,” the study finds. “These results persisted when using regression methods to control for differences across districts. SCOTUS Won’t Block Depositions in TX Redistricting

The Supreme Court decided on May 31 not to block a federal court’s order compelling three Republican members of the Texas House of Representatives to appear for depositions in a consolidated lawsuit over congressional and state-level redistricting.The redistricting took place after the results of the 2020 Census were published.
The emergency application filed May 21 in Guillen v. League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), court file 21A756 (pdf), was an appeal from a ruling by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit. The application was presented to Justice Samuel Alito ‚who referred it to the full Supreme Court. In accordance with its usual practice, the high court did not provide reasons for its decision not to grant the application.
